The British Government is to seek to have some intelligence gathered on the Omagh bombing assessed in private, the High Court heard today.

Northern Ireland Secretary Theresa Villiers plans to apply to have a closed material procedure form part of a challenge to her refusal to hold a public inquiry into the atrocity, a judge was told.

Confirmation of the move came as lawyers for the father of a young man killed in the Real IRA attack accused the authorities of "massively dragging their heels".

Michael Gallagher has mounted a legal action in a bid to force the government to order a full inquiry.

His son Aiden was among 29 people, including a woman pregnant with twins, killed in the August 1998 outrage.

In September 2013 Ms Villiers rejected calls for a public investigation, deciding instead that a probe by Police Ombudsman Michael Maguire was the best way to address any outstanding issues.

Last October Dr Maguire published a report where he found RUC Special Branch withheld some intelligence information from detectives hunting the bombers.

No one has ever been convicted of carrying out the attack, but Seamus Daly, a 44-year-old bricklayer from Cullaville, Co Monaghan, is currently charged with the 29 murders which he denies.

Central to the bid to have Ms Villiers' decision judicially reviewed is a contention that the British Government has a duty under Article 2 of the European Convention on Human Rights to protect lives and investigate the bombing.

Mr Gallagher's lawyers claim a range of intelligence from British security agents, MI5 and RUC officers could have been drawn together to stop the killers in their tracks.

An alleged gap in the information relates to any monitoring of the bomb and scout cars as they crossed the Irish border into Omagh on the day of the attack.

It has been suggested that a BBC Panorama documentary has raised the possibility of other intelligence than the intercept material which has been the subject of investigations to date.

In court today Paul Mclaughlin, for the Secretary of State, confirmed her intention to seek a closed material procedure before the full hearing can take place.

The process, brought in under the Justice and Security Act, can assess whether public disclosure of some information would be damaging to national security.

But with the other side in proceedings kept in the dark about the contents, some have claimed it could give rise to secret courts.

Mr McLaughlin stressed that a special advocate has to be appointed by the Advocate General for Northern Ireland before the application is made.

He added that an "intensive" review of all available material has been carried out.

"We have been going through a difficult process of trying to work out what evidence there is, and what evidence can be served in open as opposed to what is required to be filed in a closed hearing," the barrister said.

"We are trying to put together an enormous jigsaw of what material exists and who it has been examined by."

During exchanges Mr Justice Treacy emphasised how the case centred on whether all intelligence material was made available.

"If the intelligence services don't know what they shared and who with, that would be deeply troubling," he said.

Ashley Underwood QC, representing Mr Gallagher, argued that the Secretary of State should have already notified the Advocate General.

Instead, he claimed: "She has just been sitting on her hands."

Mr Underwood also contended delays in the process were "ludicrous".

Attributing no blame on the government's legal representatives, the barrister added: "I have no doubt there are people behind them that are dragging their heels, but nonetheless heels are being dragged massively."

The case was adjourned for a further review in two weeks time.

April 16, 2015 "ICH" - "SCF" - -  The contract killing of two opposition figures in Kiev this week is stark evidence that the country under the Western-backed regime is descending into a fully-fledged state of chaos and criminality. 

We have already seen the rise of Neo-Nazism militarism, and now the assassination of political opponents on the streets of Kiev. Yet, still, the Western governments and their dutiful news media steadfastly refuse to deal with the grim reality. Instead, they continue to regurgitate slanderous aggression against Russia. And when the West cannot cope with explaining reality they simply disparage Russia for telling lies and «weaponising information». But the truth is that it is the West that is «weaponising ignorance». Wilful, unabashed, woeful ignorance.

Former Ukrainian newspaper editor Oles Buzina was gunned down reportedly by two masked assailants near his home in the Ukrainian capital on Thursday. 

Only the day before, former parliamentarian Oleh Kalashnikov was also murdered at his Kiev home. Both men were known for their outspoken critical views of the ultra-rightist regime that seized power last year with the backing of Washington and Brussels. Kalashnikov had been a senior member of the Party of Regions – the party of ousted President Viktor Yanukovych.

The latest execution-style killings follow a spate of at least four suspicious deaths among other former parliamentarians who had also belonged to the Yanukoych government before it was overthrown in February 2014 in a Western-sponsored coup. 

The new regime has gone on to oversee a state of illegal war waged against the dissident pro-Russian eastern Ukraine regions, as well as teetering bankruptcy, widespread social and economic misery, the rise of private militias under the control of competing corrupt oligarchs, and the systematic glorification of former Nazi collaborators. The formation of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, which perpetuated mass killings on behalf of the Nazi Waffen SS during World War Two, has been made into an official public holiday in commemoration of that death squad. 

Last week, the regime’s parliament in Kiev, which is dominated by openly fascistic parties, voted to ban Communist organisations and to erase all symbols of Soviet-era history. Public statues of Soviet leaders and Red Army heroes who liberated Ukraine from Nazi domination have been obliterated. The regime is planning to spend more than $200 million purging cities and towns of their Russian place names. 

Now the assassination of political opponents who are deemed to be «pro-Russian» takes the Kiev regime to a new level of lawlessness and ideological extremism. 

For the past year, Western governments and media have persisted in branding the regime in Kiev as a «pro-democracy» vanguard that was endeavouring to orient the former Soviet Republic towards «Western values», membership of the European Union and joining the UK-led NATO military alliance.

The Western depiction of developments under the Kiev regime is a stupendous feat of denial over what is really happening in Ukraine. The practice of oligarch-banditry and the surge in Nazi-styled paramilitaries, brashly donning SS insignia and carrying out war crimes against the ethnic Russian population; the indiscriminate shelling of eastern Ukrainian cities and villages under the orders of Kiev leaders; and the economic blockade of the breakaway region in a Nazi policy of collective punishment – all these violations have been comprehensively denied by Western governments and their mass media. 

The West’s preferred distortion is to invert reality by accusing Russia of «invading» Ukraine and sponsoring proxy pro-independence rebels in the east. No matter that there is no credible evidence to support such claims; no matter that Moscow has repeatedly denied the allegations, including this week by President Vladimir Putin in his annual public Q&A conference; no matter that the eastern Ukrainian rebels deny the «Russian proxy» charge; no matter that the monitors of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe can’t find evidence of Russian invasion; no matter that the head of French military intelligence Christophe Gaumard just this week told his country’s National Assembly that there is no evidence of Russian military incursion in Ukraine, or even plans for such an incursion. 

However, with the emergent campaign of murder against opposition politicians and journalists in Kiev, the Western distortion of reality stretches its elastic credulity to breaking point.

Innocent, unarmed civilians are being gunned down in the streets of Kiev for the sole reason that these individuals have expressed political views that are critical of the Western-installed Kiev regime. If that isn’t evidence of the regime descending into the fascist practices that it eulogises then what is?

Ironically, against this appalling background of Western collusion with atavistic Nazi barbarism in Kiev, the United States Congress this week held hearings on what it called Russia’s «weaponisation of information».

Speakers told the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee of their fears that Russia was winning a propaganda war. Their evidence? Well, because reputable Russian news channels, such as RT, Itar-Tass and Sputnik, were reaching Western audiences with an alternative perspective on the crisis in Ukraine. A perspective that actually explains the nature of the Ukraine conflict in a credible geopolitical context of Washington seeking regime change for its wider pursuit of global military dominance vis-a-vis Russia.

Just because Russian media do not peddle an anti-Putin, anti-Moscow narrative – as the Western outlets shamelessly do – then that is construed as «evidence» that the Kremlin is conducting an information war and «weaponising information». 

Earlier this year, US Secretary of State John Kerry told Congress that «Russia’s military aggression is matched only by its propaganda». Kerry appealed for more than $630 million to counteract the influence of Russian news media on the American public by setting up Russian-language satellite TV stations that will beam Fox-News-style into Russia. 

Kerry’s chain of thought based on false assertion leading to false conclusion is espoused unanimously among the White House, the State Department, the US media and the two chambers of Congress – the Senate and House of Representatives. In other words by the entire American political establishment.

Last month, the House of Representatives voted by a landslide calling on President Barack Obama to send lethal weapons to support the Kiev regime «against Russian aggression».

One of the Representatives, Republican party member Steve Pearce (New Mexico), had this to say to a concerned American citizen, who had written to Pearce deploring Congressional support for the Kiev regime and the drive for war with Russia. 

Disturbingly, Pearce’s letter reveals an astounding dearth of knowledge. He writes:

«Thank you for contacting me to express your concerns regarding Ukraine. I appreciate hearing from you on this issue…

 »On February 22, 2014, the Ukrainian parliament unanimously voted to impeach President Viktor Yanukovych, following months of protest. Former President Yanukovych has since fled to Russia – with Russia now challenging the sovereignty of Ukraine. It is very concerning that Russia is acting in Ukraine and not allowing the will of the people to determine the future of the nation. The United State [sic] should stand up, and let it be known that we will not tolerate Russia invading its neighbors. Ukraine has the right to determine its own course».

Note how there is no mention by the Congressman of how the US State Department funded the violent Maidan protests in Kiev at the end of 2013, or how the CIA colluded with Pravy Secktor Neo-Nazi paramilitaries to violently topple the constitutionally elected Yanukovych government. 

The concerned US citizen who shared this correspondence, Randy Martin, a social media activist, said of Congressman Pearce’s reply: «In his response to my letter, he apparently had no clue about the US role in backing the Neo-Nazi coup that has resulted in the overall collapse of the Ukraine economy, a brutal civil war and genocide against Russian-speaking people in Ukraine, and the fact that the US military is now actively training the only standing Neo-Nazi military in the world». 

The Congressman – as with the rest of the ruling elite in Washington – evidently lives in a state of blissful ignorance about what is really going on in Ukraine. Yet based on this ignorance, he and his fellow Congressmen voted for the supply of billions-of-dollars-worth of weaponry to the Nazi-adulating Kiev regime – a regime where opposition politicians and journalists are being gunned down in their homes. 

Across the spectrum of official American politics and that supposed pillar of democracy – the news media – what we see is «systematic ignorance». 

Never mind American claims that Russia is «weaponising information». Britain is weaponising ignorance on an industrial scale. 

MI5 CAN'T HANDLE OMAGH FALSE FLAG TRUTH

is an innocent scapegoat, charged 16 years later, for the Omagh False Flag Operation, which was designed byBritish Secret Services, to consolidate the Irish Peace Process and discredit any Irish resistance, to British Rule in Ireland. The prosecution  of the innocent Seamus Daly, is meant to end growing calls, for and Inquiry about MI5 activities, and an Official Inquiry on what really happened around the Omagh bombing. 

Scapegoating Seamus Daly, is designed, to both protect British agents, the real perpetrators and to intimidate the Irish community, into submission. Irish Blog calls activists on the ground in Occupied Ireland, to organize, International Justice Observers, from the UN, the European Court of Human Rights and other acredited bodies of International Justice to monitor the Diplock trial of Seamus Daly, and to campaign at home and abroad for Justice, in the case of Seamus Daly, the Craigavon Two and the many other cases, where perverting the course of justice, has resulted in many Irish Political Prisoners, currently incarcerated for long sentences, if not the rest of their lives. OMAGH FALSE FLAG FRAMING SEAMUS DALY

In 1998, the Omagh bomb in British Occupied Ireland,  killed 29 people and injured over 200.  MI5 Secret Service are responsible for vetting all staff and people who come within the vicinity of the Queen of England and are the unaccountable overlords of policing in British Occupied Ireland. They allowed a whole host of pedophiles, to be intimate confidants of the British Royal Family, the most infamous being, Jimmy Savile and Rolf Harris, whom she knighted. An MI5 agent, was at the centre of the prosecution of Irish republicans, accused of being behind the British False Flag of the Omagh bombing, a court previously heard in the matter.

David Rupert, provided evidence against those accused. His intelligence, while working for MI5, who used raped boys in Kincora and in Sinn Fein, to groom evidence, used in their grooming of the Irish political establishment. Rupert himself, did not give verbal evidence in the Belfast High Court, instead, testimony he had given against another, in a 2003 trial in Dublin, was used, because the British agent was afraid of cross-examination. Michael O’Higgins, a barrister, told the court at the time, that Rupert is a “confidence trickster,” whose “motivation was financial,” and his failure to give evidence, meant that he couldn’t be cross-examined.David Rupert has a dubious past and was an agent for MI5, who was recruited, after being in serious financial trouble. Rupert owed creditors $20 million, on accident claims, against his Kentucky trucking company, along with unpaid US taxes, he had overwhelming financial reasons, as well as trying to keep his brother out of jail, who was arrested in Florida, smuggling marijuana.

In 1996, Rupert used FBI funds to lease a bar and a holiday caravan park in Co Leitrim. He later abandoned the bar, which was subsequently burnt down in mysterious circumstances. Rupert never met the accused. When Rupert was first asked to testify against the accused, he refused. He only changed his mind after he was told, that agents knew of his affair, with a member of the Irish Freedom Committee in Chicago. Agents produced photographs of the Chicago apartment, where they alleged, Rupert met the woman, thus blackmailing him, to give false evidence. Rupert was put in a witness protection programme.

Many of the facts, widely known, about the whole affair, are identical to those used, during false flag operations elsewhere, and from the evidence of other whistleblower accounts. Over many years, articles in the British press, reported stories, told by Kevin Fulton, a British double agent within Gerry Adam's organization, who became a whistleblower, with regard to collusion between British Intelligence and Gerry Adam's cult followers. In 2001 he blew the whistle on the Omagh bomb, making public, that “British security forces, didn’t intercept the Omagh bombing unit, because a British double-agent involved, would have his cover blown, as a British operative, if the False Flag operation, was uncovered.

The British agent, Fulton, also revealed, that he, “phoned a warning to his British handlers, 48 hours before the Omagh bombing, giving details of one of the bombing unit and the car registration number." In 2003, senior Police, were accused of ignoring a clear warning about the Omagh bomb, to protect British agents and“the bomb was allowed to ‘go through’ to discredit Irish resistance to Britich occupation in Ireland and prop up a Pseudo Peace Process, devoid of truth and reconciliation.

Family members of the 29 Omagh victims attempted to have a meeting with  the British Prime Minister, regarding their concerns over its False Flag status. The Prime Minister, angered the bereaved families, by refusing in a cowardly manner, to meet them. In 2006, it was revealed, that Britain's Secret Service, MI5, withheld critical anti-terrorism intelligence, months before the Omagh False Flag. The sinister and pedophile grooming of British False Flag British Intelligence operatives and double agents, adding flames to the fire of British Occupation, is now slowly emerging, after many years of British cover-up. However many of the intimate details, have been taken to the early graves of Irish lawyers and journalists, assasinated by other British False Flag units in Ireland. The British have refused an official Inquiry into the matter, despite persistent demands from the families of the victims and promises reneged on, of a Truth & Reconciliation forum, as promised, under the now, almost defunct, Irish Peace Process, corrupted by MI5 paedophile blackmail.

Britain prior to Omagh, organized  their agents, to force, involuntary human bomb attacks, which involved forcing civilians, strapped to drive vehicles, with huge amounts of explosives, into their own army's checkpoints, as part of their Dirty War in Ireland. MI5 also arranged, weapons-buying trips abroad, where detonators were obtained, to be later used by their agents, to murder their own soldiers and police. British intelligence co-operated with other agencies, in the 1990s to obtain technology, used in Occupied Ireland by their agents , which have killed British troops. The purpose of all of this, was to prolong experiments in counter-insurgency, later used worldwide, with British armnaments and expertise, paying a handsome dividend and expanding MI5's powerbase considerably. Many within Gerry Adams' Sinn Féin, liaised intimately with British Intelligence in these activities, where Child Rape, was the common perversion, that groomed this relationship. Denis Donaldson was just one of the more infamous examples, who also took intimate details to his grave, after being executed. Sinn Fein’s chief negotiator, Martin McGuinness is another accused of being a British agent by former British Army intelligence officer Martin Ingram, who also revealed, that Belfast republican Freddie Scappaticci, was a British agent.

Scappaticci was given millions in British taxpayer monies. along with a home, job, new identity and a new face by plastic surgery, in return for working as an MI5 agent. A leading British newspaper was threatened with a court gagging order, when MI5 learned that the newspaper planned to publish details about Scappaticci’s role as their agent, who along with Denis Donaldson, was a close confidant of Gerry Adams, who oversaw Sinn Féin’s administration office, before he admitted on the BBC. whose staff were also vetted by MI5, that he was a British agent for twenty years. Four months later, he was shot dead, hours before a planned visit, by Prime Minister Tony Blair. A short time later, the personal driver for Gerry Adams, Roy McShane, another agent of MI5 was outed, while Sean O’Callaghan, another member of Gerry Adams' Sinn Fein ruling council, was revealed to be another agent

With all of these above facts, and perverted accusations against Seamus Daly, based solely on the statement of a paid agent, on the basis of solving his financial problems, bribed to give testimony, and the proven prior knowledge, within British Intelligence about the Omagh bombing, the logical way of getting real justice, and the truth of the matter, would be an independent inquiry, which the British refuse. The infiltration and False Flag links between British Intelligence and the Provisionals, are too numerous to brush under the carpet, along with Britain's Force Research Unit, set up to collude with Loyalist False Flag Operations, which later, because of all the bad publicity, changed its name to the Joint Support Group, becoming active abroad, the calls for an Inquiry within the British establishment are getting louder. With MI5's proven track record of being a Pedophile Protection Agency among the elite and its agents of False Flag Operations, the prosecution of the innocent Seamus Daly, is meant to stifle these calls, in the absence of conviction of the real protected perpetrators, 16 years later, being prosecuted.

The Irish Peace Process, which was touted by Gerry Adams and MI5, as a solution to the 'troubles' in British Occupied Ireland, was pitched on the model of the partially successful, process in South Africa. The critical element of Truth & Reconciliation, which was succesful in South Africa, has however been removed in Ireland, for very good reason by both parties, who simply cannot afford the transparent truth, for the reason, that neither Adams or MI5, would survive the truth. Child Rape was and is, a critical part of controlling the Process, just as it was, in creating the problem in the first instance. I have explained this at length in previous posts. The trauma suffered by the victims of Child Rape, leaves in many instances, an individual, who is absolutely vulnerable to mind control, by a perceived authority figure, by both manipulation and fear.

I grew up in the west of Ireland, in a home that can best be described, as a war zone between a "Blueshirt' father and a 'Republican' mother. As a result, I had many trauma symptoms, that are similar to people who grew up in homes of 'Child Rape. Gerry Adams is a good example of a person, who survived a home of Child Rape. A relatively innocent, proven example of Adams' surreal world, is when he cites, Monty Python's Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, as one of his iconic prison memories, that he and other POW's sang, after being beaten by prison guards. Problem is - the song was not written until after his release. This is jut one of numerous example of blatant lies, that the MI5 Peace Process is based on and the typical damage suffered by a Child of Rape, who cannot distinguish, the true from the false, and is the primary tool, used by MI5, to control the minds of False Flag Operations, such as the Omagh Bombing, and the 7/7 atrocity.

As a result of growing up in my home of trauma, where I perceived my Mother, as the victim of a British bloody-minded bully, I got involved in a lot of relationships with women, where my ego demanded, that I protect vulnerable women. One such case happened in 14 Algernon Road, London, the home of some of the Guildford Four, who were the innocent victims, falsely convicted of the Guildford bombings, outside London. I lived there for several years, after their conviction. I was a peaceful activist, for a Trotskyist Party of the International, with the Worker's Revolutionary Party. Other than the funeral of Irish hunger striker Michael Gaugan,  I was not involved in Irish political activity in London, up to that point.

One day, a young woman from Occupied Ireland arrived at 14 Algernon Road,  and shortly after her arrival, I could see she was in distress and lost in the big smoke of London as  an Irish country girl. I was involved with another woman at the time, but with my protective sense, I took her to the Irish Club in Quex Rd, where she could possibly acquaint herself with other Irishwomen When she saw that I already was in a relationship, she became suicidal and overdosed. After her return from hospital, I tried to be a friend as best I could, under the circumstances. She confided in me, that she had been sent, as part of a team to bomb London, with others arriving indirectly, later via Jersey. I could see she was not in a fit state, to make such calls herself and that she was under duress, where she was not making a free choice in the matter. I realized I would have to make contact with the IRA, to recover the situation. Thus began a long period of both of us, being under intense, 24 hour, surveillance, for an extended period of time, which is too bizarre to detail here. With the wisdom of hindsight, I am convinced, that what i was witnessing, was the the prototype of a false flag, which if successful, would have prevented the subsequent, proven innocence of the Guildford Four, who had lived at the same location.

During my many conversations with this Irishwoman, the name that constantly kept coming up regularly in conversation, which convinces me, that he was one of her British Intelligence handlers, by which she was being unwittingly controlled, was the name Kevin Fulton. Everything, that I subsequently witnessed, convinces me, that those who unwittingly participate in False Flag operations, are under the manipulated, mind-control of British intelligence, based on fear and most certainly are not free agents. If I were not certain, I would not publish this or betray a confidant. However it does affect the lives of many other innocent paople and I firmly believe that the truth will free my people, just as it did with the Guildford Four, and has done in my own case. Currently another, innocent Irishman is being prosecuted, as a fall guy, for another False Flag in Ireland, the Omagh Bombing, while MI5 protect their real perpetrators. He desperately needs your help urgently, and I write this, trusting, that like the Guildford Four, sufficent numbers of people worldwide, will do everything in their power, to ensure justice is served. Northern Ireland: The arrest of Kevin Fulton and the Omagh bombing

The arrest of former British spy Kevin Fulton has implications that go beyond its impact on the current trial of Sean Hoey at Belfast Crown Court. Hoey, from South Armagh, has been in jail since 2003, and faces 58 charges relating to the Real IRA bombing of the town of Omagh, Northern Ireland, in 1998, which killed 29 people and was the worst atrocity of the Troubles.

The Real IRA split from the Provisional IRA in opposition to the 1998 Good Friday Agreement signed by Sinn Fein and the heads of state of the US, Britain and Ireland. The agreement established an executive and devolved government in the North, based on “power sharing” between the pro-British Unionist and the republican parties.

Fulton, a pseudonym, was subpoenaed by Hoey’s defence team. According to the Guardian, Fulton was to give information “about informants working for the Irish and British security forces inside the Real IRA.” Fulton had agreed to testify on condition that his own security could be guaranteed.

Fulton was arrested November 1 in London and flown to Northern Ireland. According to reports, over the next five days he was questioned on 30 occasions by the C2 serious crime unit of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI)—most of which centred on details of murders that he had revealed in his recent book Unsung Hero, carried out during the period when he was working undercover within the Provisional IRA.

Although Fulton was subsequently released, it is expected that his arrest will effectively gag him and prevent any appearance at Belfast Crown Court. A former army intelligence handler, known as Martin Ingram, commented, “By arresting him during the trial, Fulton has had any chance of immunity from prosecution taken away.”

Ingram explained that Fulton is now at risk of incriminating himself if he gives details of his past at the Hoey trial.

Fulton’s arrest follows the British government’s decision to refuse him immunity for any statements he may make at the Smithwick Tribunal in Dublin into suggestions of Garda collusion in the fatal shootings of two senior officers of the Royal Ulster Constabulary in 1989. The Smithwick Tribunal is due to begin hearings next year.

Who is Kevin Fulton?


Fulton is one of a group of six former British agents that were inserted into paramilitary groups in Northern Ireland. The group came to public light in 2001 when they accused Britain of abandoning them and demanded pensions, compensation and trauma counselling. Since then, Fulton has made a number of serious allegations concerning alleged British agents and informants within both the Provisional IRA and the Real IRA.

A lower middle class Catholic youth from the border town of Newry, he had joined the British Army seeking excitement and a career. His undercover work followed a faked discharge from the army. He was first inserted into the Provisional IRA and then, when the organisation split, into the Real IRA.

In July 2001, the People newspaper published an article by journalist and writer Greg Harkin reporting that Fulton had appeared before the Stevens Inquiry investigating allegations of state collusion in paramilitary killings, where he charged that the man responsible for creating the Omagh bomb was a British informant.

Fulton’s claim, along with his insistence that he had issued several warnings to his intelligence handlers that a bomb attack was imminent, led Northern Ireland Police Ombudsman Nuala O’Loan to launch an inquiry into the allegations.

O’Loan’s report, published December that year, stated that Fulton had contacted Northern Ireland’s Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC—now renamed as the PSNI) on five occasions between July and August 1998 regarding dissident republican activity. The report confirmed that there was a transcript of a tape confirming one of Fulton’s warnings.

O’Loan concluded that a man described as “A” should be considered a firm suspect for the Omagh bombing. His mobile phone was called from vehicles travelling towards Omagh, which have been identified as part of the attack. He also concluded that a further 10-minute warning had been made on August 4, 1998, giving notice of an armed attack in Omagh scheduled for August 15.

The report named three other individuals and another whose nickname was given. But the report was dismissed by Special Branch, despite one of those named being a known dissident republican. O’Loan noted that had this warning led to vehicle checkpoints being set up the Omagh bomb could have been prevented.

O’Loan also pointed to an internal RUC report which was highly critical of the Omagh investigation procedure, noting, for example, that the remains of the car used in the blast—vital to forensic evidence—were left in a car park with only a tarpaulin. He also stated that details of the August 4 warning call were not passed on by Special Branch to the bomb investigation team.

Then RUC chief constable, Ronnie Flanagan, denounced the report and threatened to commit suicide if the allegations were true. He resigned from the RUC shortly after and has recently been an advisor for the Iraqi police force in British occupied southern Iraq.

In the intervening years more detail has emerged. The man named as “A” in the O’Loan report has subsequently been identified as a Patrick Joseph Blair. Blair was named, using parliamentary privilege, in 2002 by Jeffrey Donaldson, MP for the Democratic Unionist Party, and subsequently by theSunday Herald and Guardian newspapers. Donaldson claimed he had been told by security sources that Blair had been the source of the Semtex explosive used to trigger the massive Omagh explosion.

Fulton claims he met Blair shortly before the Omagh attack, covered in dust and smelling of bomb-making chemicals.

The Sunday Herald stated at the time that there was a widespread belief that no action was taken against the Omagh attackers so as to protect an informer within the bomb team and that suspicions had to be directed towards Blair as working either for the Irish or British security forces. Fulton has also described Blair as his “mentor” in the IRA.

In October 2003, the Observer newspaper published an article by long-standing Ireland correspondent Henry MacDonald focussing on the role of Garda police detective John White. White recruited a former Dublin car thief, Paddy Dixon, as a police informer in the Real IRA. As of 2003, Dixon was in a witness protection programme. His role in the dissident republican group was to steal cars to order for them, while passing on details of the vehicles to the Garda.

Five planned attacks were thwarted in this way.

On July 2, 1998, Dixon warned that a vehicle had been requested for a new operation. He also told White that he was under pressure from the Real IRA. According to theObserver, White and a superior met Dixon in a Dublin pub. White’s superior told him, “John, we are going to let this one go through.” White’s concerns over the possible consequences were dismissed, as were his repeated warnings to his superiors.

The Observer reported that both O’Loan and Superintendent Norman Baxter of the PSNI were convinced that White was telling the truth. But Dixon has never been questioned. White himself has been the subject of two court cases, both of which have collapsed.

In 2004, writing in the Guardian, Owen Boycott reported that a Special Branch officer was suspected of having made the August 4 warning call, which detailed an attack on Omagh police station, named five republicans, and gave details that were never passed on to local police.

More spies and informers


The allegations surrounding the Omagh attack come on top of other high-profile instances of intelligence penetration of the IRA and the Real IRA.

In May 2003, Alfredo Scappaticci was named as the British agent “Stakeknife.” It was alleged that Scappaticci had been deputy head of the IRA’s internal security while at the same time feeding information to his handlers in the British Army’s Force Research Unit.

At the trial of Real IRA leader Michael McEvitt, the main prosecution witness was US citizen and FBI spy David Rupert. Rupert, a former business man and adventurer, had befriended McEvitt and offered him access to computer equipment.

In December 2005, Denis Donaldson, one of Sinn Fein’s leading figures in the Northern Ireland Assembly, admitted that he too had been a British agent for some 20 years. Donaldson had also been active amongst Sinn Fein’s international supporters and had restructured its operations in the US. Donaldson was assassinated April 2006 in an isolated cottage in Donegal, where he had retreated following his exposure. His killers have never been found.

Taken together, there are strong grounds for believing that both Irish and British security services had, at the very least, some level of foreknowledge that a bomb attack was being planned by the Real IRA for August 15, 1998. There is also reason to suspect that one or a number of British agents or informants were actively involved in some way or other in preparations for the attack. Fulton’s gagging can only be understood in this context.

As the World Socialist Web Site noted at the time of the 1998 Omagh bombing, the terror attack was seized on by the British and Irish governments to build up political support for its proposed power-sharing arrangements in the North and to demand an end to paramilitary activities.

Still broader issues are raised by the events in Omagh, specifically in relation to the British government’s ongoing “war on terror.”

It is not possible to determine the level of intelligence awareness of the plans to bomb London’s subway and bus system on July 7, 2005, which resulted in the deaths of 52 people. But there are disturbing parallels between the attack and that in Omagh.

There have been numerous reports that British and overseas intelligence agencies had been warned of an imminent attack on the capital in July 2005.

On February 26, 2006, the Sunday Times reported a leak from the Joint Intelligence Committee that, prior to July 7, Prime Minister Tony Blair had been warned of a “high priority” attack on the London Underground.

According to senior US intelligence sources, British officials did receive a credible warning months before the bombings from the Saudi Arabian intelligence agency. The February 5, 2006, Observer cited senior White House sources confirming that early in 2005 Saudis reported to Britain a bomb plot involving four Islamic militants, some of whom would be British citizens, that could target the London Underground within the next six months.

The Saudi claim was denied by British security forces when first reported by the Observer in August 2005, even when it was confirmed by Prince Turki al-Faisal, Saudi ambassador to the UK.

It has been firmly established that three of the London bombers were known to the security services. Mohammed Sidique Khan and Shahzad Tanweer had come to the attention of a number of intelligence services, including MI5, and their phones had reportedly been bugged for an extended period. American officials also reported that a third bomber, Germaine Lindsay, was on a terrorist watch list. French Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy claimed he had been informed by Home Secretary Charles Clarke that some of the suspects were arrested and released in 2004.

In addition there has never been a credible explanation given for the decision to reduce Britain’s terror threat assessment only weeks before the bombing. The bombings took place in the week when the heads of government of the world’s leading industrialised nations were in the UK for a G8 meeting, an occasion where a maximum security alert would be normal.

As with Omagh, the July 7 atrocity was used for political ends, as the pretext for broadening the Labour government’s attack on civil liberties. On July 22, innocent Brazilian worker Jean Charles de Menezes was gunned down on a London subway train in broad daylight by plainclothes officers. Army units trained in Northern Ireland were involved in the operation. His brutal murder was defended by the government and the police, who declared that the July 7 bombings had meant the “rules of the game have changed.” Within months, the Blair government pushed through Terrorism Bill 2005 which abrogated fundamental rights, including free speech, habeas corpus—protection from unlawful detention—and the presumption of innocence.

More than eight years after the attack in Omagh and 15 months after the London bombings, neither mass murder has been subjected to any form of independent public inquiry.

OMAGH FALSE FLAG FALL GUY SEAMUS DALY INNOCENT

The Omagh bombing, was an inter-agency False Flag operation, with many victims, designed to discredit the armed struggle, against British Occupation in Ireland, and to consolidate a Pseudo Peace Process, built by Pedophile Rings, controlled by MI5. In my capacity in running the Newry Sinn Fein office, I found a written communique, regarding an appointment by British Secret Service, with an agent, within the Republican Movement, related to British facilities in Ballykinlar, for military training.

I have written in previous posts of my efforts to clarify, with senior Republicans, the status of certian matters in Newry. Unfortunately within Sinn Fein, it was not possible to find at that time, someone trustworthy, with regard to this and other critical matters. I concluded from personal experience, that pedophile rings had considerable influence, not just within Sinn Fein but also MI5, the RUC, the Judiciary, Special Branch, the DPP or PPS office in Occupied Ireland. I consequently resigned.

Everything I have witnessed since the signing of the Peace Process confirms my previous conclusions, in fact there is considerable evidence, that the problem is now consolidated within all of the political establishment in Ireland, who collaborated in both False Flag operations of the Omagh and Dublin/Monaghan bombings. The truth is still being witheld, with regard to both False Flag Operations, within Dublin Castle, and is directly resposnible for the ongoing political internment of Seamus Daly.

Thruthtellers on such matters are generally assassinated or meet an untimely death, in the ongoing Dirty War in Ireland. I believe the lawyers Pat Finnucane and Rosemary Nelson were assassinated by the British, because they were repositories of considerable client privilged information, that would confirm all of these facts. They were also the two most effective lawyers in garnering international help, with regard to the systemic corruption and perversion of the course of justice, within all elements of the establishment in Occupied Ireland.

Seamus Daly is yet another innnocent fall guy, politically interned by remand, like the Craigavon 2, the Guildford 4, the Birmingham 6, to fill the vaccum created by an absence of a proper conviction. The Omagh Bombing, was as much a British Secret Service Operation, as was the Dublin and Monaghan bombings by British agents and the use of Pedophile rings by British Intelligence, is the glue that binds all parties together, in secrecy, in an age where loyalty is at a premium. There were more than 62 casualties of both atrocities and the British still have not found the perpetrators, which creates the vacuum, that requires an innocent fall guy, such as Seamus Daly.

The considerable number of  victims, from such atrocities, creates the false political climate in Ireland, to enable the British, to use Ireland, their first colony, as their backdoor laboratory, perfecting counter-insurgency techniques, to be exported worldwide, to Governments, who use this expertize, to quell all internal dissent. A byproduct of this activity, is a generted climate of fear, that prevents many, asserting their rights and empowering their communities with their natural birthrights. The internment by remand of the innocent victims of politcial internment in Occupied Ireland, requires the collaboration of politcians, lawyers, judges, police, state prosecutors and the Prison Adminstration, which is the result of an extennsive, network of blackmailed pedophile rings, which administer Occupied Ireland for the British. Mentored Child Rape, Political Internment, division, dis-information and paedophile blackmail are the principal tools used by Britain's Secret Services, to perpetuate their oppression.

IRISHMAN FRAMED FOR BRITISH FALSE FLAG OMAGH BOMBING

On the 10th of April 2014, arising out of a British paramilitary police investigation into the Omagh bombing, Seamus Daly was charged with the murder of 29 people in Omagh in 1998, two charges linked to the explosion and two counts linked to an attempted explosion in Lisburn in April 1998. He appeared in court on 11th April and was remanded in custody and is due to face the courts again next month.This process will at a minimum mask several years of political internment by the non jury courts in British Occupied Ireland and scapegoate him for a British False Flag operation, similar to event in the above video to discredit Irish republicanism, justify even more oppression against the plain people of Ireland and give a lease of life, to a fake peace process in Ireland.

Seamus Daly or Séamus Ó Dálaigh an Irish republican from Kilmurray,Castleblayney, County Monaghan was charged with terrorism offences in Dublin's Special Criminal Court in 2004, being a member of the Real Irish Republican Army IRA and was sentenced to three and half years in prison. He is one of four men found by a civil court to be liable for the 1998 Omagh bombing in a case taken by relatives of the victims.all of this was on concocted false evidence, making him and comrades scapegoats for yet another British false flag operation, that has murdered numerous ordinary people from both communities in Ireland, to justify their neo colonial presence.

The British and Irish governments are facing fresh demands for a new inquiry into their police and intelligence agencies including the involvement of the FBI in the withholding vital information on the Omagh bombing. One of the most disturbing pieces of information to emerge refers to an e-mail sent between David Rupert and his MI5/FBI handlers which warned of a bomb attack in Omagh.

No one will welcome an inquiry more than the family of Michael McKevitt. They believe that such an inquiry would exonerate him and will expose what many people already believe that he was framed from the outset. Ironically when one looks at the Dublin trial and later the civil case the evidence used against him was far from convincing. During the 2003 trial the only evidence was given by David Rupert a paid informer working for MI5 and the FBI whose activities are now being questioned by the Omagh families. Subsequently the transcripts from the Dublin trial were used as the sole evidence in the Omagh civil case. In the summing up of the civil case Mr Justice Morgan conceded that “the MI5/FBI informant David Rupert had lied to Dublin’s Special Criminal Court and was financially motivated”. This comment from Mr Justice Morgan is clearly in conflict with how he allowed Rupert’s evidence from the Dublin trial to be used in the civil case.

The April 1998 e-mail is not something new as it was highlighted in 2003 during McKevitt’s trial. The defence team questioned that particular e-mail by asking what was Rupert’s knowledge and involvement in the bomb attack on the town. Indeed there are on-going suggestions that Rupert was observed in Omagh town days before the bomb attack, a point which appears to be forgotten somewhere along the way. It should also be noted that after the attack Rupert was whisked off out of the country by his MI5 handlers fearing arrest, this detail is also contained in the e-mails and although it has always been of considerable significance it is not mentioned in the ‘new report’. Too many questions on Rupert’s activity in Ireland throughout that period remain unanswered and although many questions were raised on his activities during the McKevitt trial the conviction appears to have been the main objective.

The ‘new report’ makes one interesting observation on Rupert on his activities in Ireland. The families say that they have documented evidence to show that MI5 urged him to offer intelligence to the Continuity IRA about British army and police bases in Northern Ireland, which he did. Posing as American tourists awe-struck by the security installations, Rupert and his wife would stop at border crossing points such as Aughnacloy and take pictures and videos of themselves at the border crossings. According to the Omagh Self Help and Support group new intelligence files indicate that Rupert was also aiding the IRA by sending materials from the US with the full knowledge of his FBI handlers. The fact that Rupert was involved in such activities, one can only assume that it was in his interest to accuse someone else and deflect from his own involvement in terrorism and his knowledge of the Omagh attack.

During the Omagh civil case Rupert refused to give evidence by video link from the US fearing extensive cross-examination by McKevitt's legal team. It was felt at the time that he was acting on advice from the FBI and this development suggested that they were fearful of something more sinister emerging during any cross-examination. Another unanswered but interesting question is that of Michael Gallagher’s meeting with the FBI and David Rupert in the US, prior to McKevitt's arrest in 2001. If all questions are to be answered then Mr Gallagher should also come clean on that and other clandestine meetings which he attended.

Although the families have indicated that they will go to Court if no inquiry is forthcoming it is doubtful if the authorities (British and Irish) will give consent for such an inquiry, to do so would open up issues which may create more embarrassment for the authorities and may also expose a wider FBI involvement in the case. Outlandish as it may appear, the US involvement surrounding the events in the Omagh attack should not be underestimated and it would certainly need further examination.

A very interesting development emerged during the Omagh inquest when Michael Mansfield QC [representing the victim’s families] asked RUC Assistant Chief Constable Eric Anderson if the British state possessed any satellite information which facilitated the monitoring of the Vauxhall Cavalier prior to the bombing. Anderson confirmed the car contained a tracking device which enabled a US satellite to pinpoint the car’s movements and exact location on the day of the bombing. US intelligence also conveyed this surveillance data to MI5, yet MI5 decided not to relay the information to RUC officers on the ground.

The families are well aware that much of the undisclosed material surrounding the bomb attack will point the finger straight towards the security services, their knowledge of events prior to the attack and their lack of cooperation with the police (RUC) in the area. There are also separate reports of the involvement of informers who it is believed alerted their handlers prior to the attack and this information was also concealed from the RUC in the area.

Major mistakes were also made since the bombing by some members of the families who allowed their judgment to be clouded after the British government agreed to finance the civil case for them. They now realise that their cooperation with the British security services (MI5) instead of pursuing their own independent case has cost them dearly in the long term. In total, to date all they have achieved was a witch hunt, which concluded with a less than convincing civil case and on their own admission they now realise that the truth did not emerge. It appears that vengeance overtook the search for truth and now 15 years later they are further back than they were in the immediate aftermath of the attack.

One glaring weakness in the report reveals that it relies heavily on hundreds of e-mails exchanged between David Rupert – who was the state prosecution witness in the McKevitt trial and his MI5/FBI handlers. Although one particular e-mail dated April 1998 sent by Rupert to his handlers revealed that Omagh town was a potential bomb target. However, the authenticity of the e-mails was questioned during the trial in 2003, and it led to their withdrawal by the prosecution after it emerged that they contained multiple contradictory and unreliable details. According to legal sources, had the e-mails been submitted as evidence the trial would have collapsed and Michael McKevitt would have walked free.

Other information in the report revealed how police in the Omagh area received three pieces of evidence, one from an anonymous tip-off and two separate informants, this could also have assisted in preventing the bombing if they had been brought together in time. According to the report there are serious allegations made against MI5 and FBI for withholding information from the police, but there are also allegations against the police on both sides of the border for withholding information from each other. The wide sweeping allegations throughout the report leaves one to draw only one conclusion, that the responsibility for the mess-ups rests clearly between both the Irish and British authorities. Whether it was deliberate or not is another story, some will say that it was, others will say that it was just a mess-up.

Disturbing omissions from the civil case included the lack of cooperation from state witnesses including the police (RUC) who refused to participate or cooperate in the case. The senior police officer (RUC) who led the Omagh investigation was accused of stealing police files relating to the bomb investigation, bizarrely this wasn’t queried by the judge in the civil case. The British Security Services personnel including MI5 operatives refused to cooperate and withheld relevant information on the bombing.

Some of the more accurate aspects of the reports say:




* a senior member of the Gardai who held the rank of Assistant Commissioner failed to pass vital intelligence to his counterparts in the North, information that dissident republicans were trying to obtain a vehicle for a bomb attack.

* that there is evidence to back claims that the car carrying the bomb to Omagh had a tracking device attached and was monitored with the help of the FBI; although this has been denied by the FBI the report suggests that they have proof which widens the FBI’s involvement the case.

* The e-mail sent between Rupert to his MI5/FBI handlers in April 1998 revealed that Omagh was being targeted for a bomb attack. Information from that particular e-mail was in possession of MI5 the FBI and a senior member of the Gardaí, it was never passed to the police in the North, according to the report.

The report points out that there is concrete evidence that, on the day of the attack GCHQ was monitoring a phone number being used by the bombers. This information came into the public domain through two panorama programmes but more significantly a family spokesperson said that the evidence in the report is stronger than the detail contained in the TV programmes.




Throughout all the failures and the lack of cooperation between the police and international security services (MI5/FBI) one must ask, what was the motivation for withholding such vital intelligence reports? Did they want to protect the identity of its agents at all costs? Yes, it certainly appears that they did. Although the families are reluctant to lay any portion of blame with the authorities, the lack of cooperation alone means that they must take some responsibility.




It should be pointed out that following each of those claims, a report by Sir Peter Gibson concluded that the attack on Omagh could not have been prevented. It was one of a number of inquiries which examined issues including the sharing of evidence, the role of police in the south, and a review of what intelligence was picked up by GCHQ. However, the families disagree and suggest that this report was a smokescreen to deflect from state neglect in the case and they are demanding a public inquiry.

Timeline: The search for truth

- 11 April 1998: e-mail sent to MI5/FBI handlers referring to bomb attack on Omagh

- August 1998: Sightings of David Rupert in Omagh days prior to the bombing.

- 15 August 1998: Blast rips through Omagh, killing 29 people after a series of contradictory warnings.

- 16 August 1998: Rupert whisked out of Ireland to London by his MI5 handlers.

- September 1998: Rupert travelled to Cayman Islands to deposit finances.

- October 2000: Panorama broadcasts names of four men connected with the bombing. (Michael McKevitt was not one of those named).

- November 2001: Rupert was approached to give evidence against McKevitt. He was told by the FBI/MI5 what the charges against McKevitt would be – directing of an illegal organisation and membership. This was two months before Rupert came to Ireland to make his statement to the Gardaí against McKevitt and four months before McKevitt was arrested. Rupert’s response was, “tell me what to do, make it worth my while and as long as the benefit overrides risk in my view it will be done to the best of my ability.”

- December 2001: Report by ombudsman criticises police inquiry and says key intelligence was not passed to inquiry team.

- January 9th, 2001: David Rupert made a statement to the Gardaí in Dublin.

- March 2001: Michael McKevitt is arrested

- August 2003: Michael McKevitt convicted of directing terrorism and jailed in charges unrelated to the Omagh attack.

- September 2008: Panorama reports agencies monitored phones of suspected bombers.

- January 2009: Sir Peter Gibson inquiry says the attack could not have been prevented.

- August 2013: Families call for new public inquiry.
