As the picture above of Gerry Adams in Archbishop Makarios garb demonstrates, it is not difficult to manipulate, with modern technology, technical evidence against anyone. I recall addressing the Sinn Fein Ard Fheis(National Conference) in the Mansion House, when Ruairi O'Bradagh was President and I touched on the subject of 'Black Propaganda' the beard almost hit the table. I certainly had his attention for the rest of my delivery. Subsequently, there was regime change within the Republican movement, when Adams replaced O'Bradiagh as President. Pedophiles rose in the ranks and Sinn Fein adopted neocon policies to replace traditional Irish republican values, aided in no small way by spooky shadows and black propaganda. With the entry into elections, revolutionary principles, were gradually revised, with an influx of political careerists into the party. Key positions within the party were undermined, by Adams' mentored organizers and the resistance slowly run down.

Eventually, I had to resign from the party and I was not surprised a few years later, to run into it's national organizer, who later became Lord Mayor of Belfast, along with a leading army enforcer, at a petrol station, beside Birr Castle in the Irish midlands. Birr Castle, is where the children of Kincora were taken in County Offaly, which was the family home of the 7th Earl of Rosse, where Child Rape and satanic rituals, took place as confirmed by Joan Coleman. I am quite familiar with the details of all of this, because I have a large extended family, living beside the Castle, who regularly heard the screams of the children, as they were raped, tortured and murdered in satanic rituals there. The 7th Earl of Rosse, is Lord Snowden's stepbrother, Princess Margaret's estranged husband. The castle was built in the 1600's and the Earl of Rosse, Richard Parsons was a founder member of Ireland's aristocratic Satanic cult, The Hellfire Club, which included former Vice Royal Villiers of the same Viceroyal family Villiers of today, in Occupied Ireland. Many cult sources say that Devil worship is hereditary and handed down through the generations.

Jack Parsons, related to the Birr Castle family, was an associate of Aleister Crowley, a prominent member of Ordo Templi Orientis and a founding father of modern Satanism. Werner Von Braun, the Nazi rocket scientist, brought to the USA and nurtured by the Americans for the NASA space program, said that Jack Parsons deserved most of the credit. Human sacrifice has been an abhorrent reality in Ireland for as long as the British arrived on Irish soil. The British aristocracy brainwashed the naive Irish into believing, these sort of things only happen in myths. Irish history demonstrates, that the British aristocracy, especially after the arrival of the Normans, brought child rape and sacrifice, to places like Kilkenny, bringing the dark arts and devil worship to poor people of Ireland. They believe that magical powers and knowledge come to those poor, unfortunate, raped, tortured in child sacrifice. While the Orange Order replace human kids with goat kids, instead. Worshippers of the devil were persecuted by the Spanish Inquisition and were expelled from all European countries, with the exception of Portugal and Scotland. They resurfaced in Scotland in the form of the Freemasons and Orange Order. Richard Parsons, 1st Earl of Rosse, was Grand Master of Ireland's Freemasons, was also one of the founder members of Ireland's Aristocratic, Satanist cult, the Hellfire Club, along with Viceroyal Villiers, as one of its leading members. Viceroyal Villiers administered the Irish Holocaust on behalf of the British, which cost approximately, six million Irish lives.

So at this point, the question arises, as to what the pay off for MI5, and the current Viceroyal Villiers, for opening the gates of Devil Worship, to Sinn Fein are. As Sinn Fein administer Thatcherite policies of deregulation and privatization of public services in the north, they are also refusing to support the boycott of Irish Water in the south,while paying lip service to protest, which will be sold out as soon as they enter coalition, with their Neocon policies. They are also engaging in creating the political climate for all of Ireland, to re-enter the British Commonwealth. Britain is in the process of disengaging from the EU. They have already indicated, they are withdrawing from the European Court of Human Rights, because they have been found guilty of torture in Ireland. They can no longer comply with European Law, that criminalizes their Human Rights abuse in Ireland. 

As the opening statement of this post indicates, they have sent many Irishmen and women to prison for the rest of their lives, on faulty technical evidence. The most notable example being the Birmingham Six, who were convicted, primarily on the evidence of a so-called expert, who stated that the defendants had traces of residue on their person, that could only come from the residue of explosives. Shortly after their conviction, it was proven, that washing their hands in ordinary soap, would leave the same residue. It took 16 long years in prison, for the six, to have their innocence proven. This also happened with the Guildford Four. This happened again recently In Occupied Ireland with the Craigavon Two, where faulty tampered evidence, by another so-called expert, who used a tampered recording on a tape, which deleted a critical part of the recording but convicted the two. This is also apparently the critical part of the plan, to convict the innocent Seamus Daly, for the False Flag operation of the Omagh bombing, a full 19 years after the event. All of these miscarriages of justice, are a calculated campaign by Britain's secret services, to intimidate Irish people, with similar consequence, should they dare protest. They have used the intimidation of bullies, to still any dissent, since the days of hanging, drawing and quartering any Irish, who rebelled against the British Occupation. FEAR, (FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL) is their weapon. This is the purpose of these systemic, regular, miscarriages of justice. This is the purpose of prosecuting the innocent Seamus Daly, 16 years after the  inter-agency False Flag of Omagh, whose real perpetrators are protected by the perverted injustice of MI5, the unaccountable, warlords, of British Dirty War in Ireland. During my tenure as Chaiperson of Newry Sinn Fein, while running the office in Newry, a son of a British serviceman who was shot, came to my wife's door one night, and held a knife to my wife's throat, to wait for my return. I had to report the incident to a C/O in Muirhevnamor, a Republican stronghold, outside Dundalk, at the time. However, it transpired a few weeks later, that a complaint of child abuse, crossed my desk, against the still acting C/O, who had been moved out of another part of the North, because of other allegations, but was still serving in this senior capacity. In subsequent events, before I resigned from Sinn Fein, it became clear to me, that a considerable part of the leadership, was compromized, and I resigned. It further became quite clear to me when MI5 were trying to turn me into an informer, that they had also compromized the Judiciary in Occupied Ireland, because I was told, that they could arrange, that I was would be tried by specific judges, that they controlled. Obvioulsy as a result of their cover-up of child rape and their paedophile networks, MI5 control all of the justice system in Occupied Ireland, and as a result are perverting the course of justice, which is an extremely serious crime. This is obviously happening in the case of the innocent Seamus Daly, with regard to Omagh and also the Craigavon Two. It's the Birmingham Six and Guildford Four, all over again.

With such damning evidence, how can any British Government, claim to have anything remotely resembling a justice system in Ireland?

How can they claim to have anything remotely resembling a democractic system in place, with compromised politicians, in their ruling junta there?

How can they claim to have anything remotely resembling a Peace Process of consent, when it 's politicians and political parties, are remotely controlled by MI5?

MP for Derry, Gregory Campbell asks British Junta in Occupied Ireland to Regulate the Sale of 'spirit boards'.

The DUP's Gregory Campbell was told by the Junta, after he had the cheek to ask them the question, that the MI5 Junta, will not regulate the sale of Ouija boards in Ocupied Ireland. Secret societies all over Ireland, were celebratring last night. Satanic Paedeophile rings from all over Belfast, to Kilkenny, to Birr Castle, to the Hellfire Club outside Dublin, engaged in secret orgies of Child Rape, to celebrate the occasion.The Orange Order had hundreds of goats, imported from Killorglin, for their bestial celebrations. The Catholic Church requisitioned thousands of altar boys, to celebrate the occasion. Sinn Fein also cracked open all of their safe houses for the occasion. Secret Societies were mushrooming all over Ireland last night, in secret seances with 'spirit boards' and Ouija boards. Irish Blog cannot reveal further details, due to new legislation being introduced by the Government in Ireland, that will jail journalists, who reveal or make public any details, particularly if the childrne are bought, from orphanages or industrial schools. Suffice it to say, there was considerable weeping and gnashing of kid's teeth, both human and goat, in every part of Ireland.

A DUP Spokesperson says: "Mr Campbell was asked about the issue by a constituent, and tabled the question on their behalf. He has passed on the reply to his constituent for their information." The constituent, who is believed to be a papist widow, with 20 young children(some of them twins and triplets)was traumatized by the news, was sedated with alternative medicine yesterday. However it hasn't worked, because she now fears being kneecapped or disappeared, for using the medicine. She is now said to be considering Jonathan Swift's Modest Proposal, of selling her children to be eaten, as a better alternative, to the bleak future she now fears is ahead, for her children, in the Occupied Territories of Ireland, which is facing the prospect of fierce Thatcherite cuts, adminstered by the Junta.


The Satanic boards are a piece of wood with letters, numbers and planchette, that indicate the spirit's message, by spelling it out during séances and satanic rituals, which include child rape and human sacrifice on special occasions. The Ouija boards are a source of great disturbance for God Fearing DUP Bible thumpers. The DUP Fuerher, Peter Robinson and his wife Iris, often talk of the a time when their home was haunted by Provo spirits, leading to the discovery of an Ouija board in their attic. The Fuerher's wife Iris, recalls an inexplicable incident which caused the couple to move a new home. It is also believed to have driven her into the arms of a toy boy for comfort, but she has moved on, after psychiatric counseling and now prefers women's company.



Iris said: "We were renting a house at Lenaghan, one of Belfast's quiet, residential areas. From the moment we moved in, I hated the place. It is now believed to have been the headquarters, of the MI5 Pedophile Ring, of a notorius gang in Belfast. Gregory Campbell said he will not be 'dictated to or deflected' after receiving a death threats following his comments to the Junta, while Gerry Adams responded to Campbell's comments by issuing the order, "break these bastards."

PHUKET: The Phuket Gazette joins the rest of the island in extending its condolences to the family of young Scotsman Liam Colven, who died at a newly-opened shooting range in Thalang from a gunshot to the head last weekend (story here).

News of the death has resonated in the social media as the story touches on so many relevant issues here in Phuket, including the widely-perceived, yet statistically unproven, high incidence of foreigners who choose the island as a ‘last resort’ destination to end their lives.

Detailed accounts of what specifically led to Mr Colven’s death have yet to be revealed as this goes to press. By all accounts, it followed a heated telephone argument that sent him in search of a place ‘to shoot’ – a wish quickly and easily obliged to by a local taxi driver in Thalang, home to the island’s newest and growing number of tourist-oriented shooting ranges.

Reaction among older readers is almost unanimous in recognizing that the greatest tragedy is the young age at which Liam’s life ended: just 21. Many of us remember the intense emotions that engulfed us when we were of a similar age, when a broken heart or similar negative passion could feel so overwhelming as to make life itself seem no longer worth living.

Most of us who have lived through similar experiences see in hindsight that they ultimately make us stronger, more insightful and wiser in the long run, deepening our appreciation for this inconceivably precious gift of sentient existence – even if it comes at the stiff admission price of being aware of one’s mortality.

The issue of terminally-ill patients in chronic pain choosing to end their own lives, as well as to have such decisions respected and supported by society, are often understood, but the Gazette deeply laments deaths like this one among young people apparently acting on impulse alone.

As for the proliferation of tourist-oriented shooting ranges on the island, we hope this tragedy will at least prompt authorities to review their role in the island’s tourism industry. Do we really want island roads lined with huge billboards filled with graphic images promoting gun use?

Further, is it wise to allow such facilities on a tourist island that has at least once been linked to the ongoing insurgency in the Deep South, where more than 6,000 people have been killed over the past decade and the sight of soldiers carrying automatic assault rifles is all some school children have ever known?

We need to carefully consider how well these shooting ranges really mesh with the oft-stated goal of attracting ‘quality tourists’, as well as the wider safety ramifications of handing over firearms and ammunition to each and every tourist who asks for them, no questions asked.

After all, in this day and age, it is far from inconceivable that the next tragedy could involve a customer turning his rented weapon on fellow shooters, with even more horrific results.

Adams hinself gave an interview on RTE and claimed, that his own father was also a child abuser. While Gerry Adams claimed that he didn’t know if he was abused or not. How can he not know, if he was abused or not? Another disgusting ploy, to try and save Sinn Fein, with numerous scories of similar child rapes. Gerry Adams knew about these rapes, decades ago but allowed his brother to continue to work with children. He allowed and supported his brother to continue his Sinn Fein career in Dundalk. The Priest Fr Troy used his influence within the Catholic Church, to try and force victims of Sinn fein rape to drop charges and to protect parties' many pedophiles. Gerry Adams claimed he didn’t know where his brother was at the time, despite keeping in contact with him. Sinn Fein should have let their communities in Dundalk and Belfast know, there was another Adams' pedophile living in their midst, to protect the children.


British forces were not interested in prosecuting the Adams family or their circle of pedophile friends just like the BBC, with their pedohile ring .Neither were they interested  in getting justice or protecting the defenceless children, when these crimes were first reported to them. Why did they not arrest Liam Adams? Why did they not question him? Why was he and his pedophile ring, allowed to continue working with children? Did they turn Liam Adams? Did they turn his father? Did they turn his brother?  Did they turn most of Sinn fein in Belfast? Did they turn most of Sinn fein in Ireland? Did they use this information, to recruit informers all over Ireland? Unfortunately for legal reason, we cannot name all of these people, but you don't have to be particulary bright, to get the complete picture, it's politcal consequence for ireland and it's devastating effect on the island.

To make matters even worse, after a mjor state Inquiry in Ireland, which just a few years ago, found that Child Rape was 'SYSTEMIC' in the country. The Government also wants to cover it all up again. SYSTEMIC CHILD RAPE! Think about those three words for a moment and their consequence that ran into tens of thousands over many years. What the hell is wrong with the Women and men of Ireland, who stand idly by and permit this. What the hell is wrong with over a quarter of the electorate, that is prepared to elect a party to Government, that pro-actively engages, in enabling Child Rape and executing Child Rape. Its systemic prevalance among the Irish politcialestablishment, leaves Ireland wide open to control by both foreign Corporations and Governments. How sick is this? It is difficult to imagine anything  more outrageous, until you read yesterday's Irish Independet, just a few short years, after the infamous Inquiry.

Survivors outraged at plan to seal abuse reports for 75 years

Surviviors of institutional abuse have expressed outrage over Government plans to seal all major industrial school and orphanage investigation records for 75 years.

The move, which also allows for the possible destruction of documents, must now be ratified by the Dáil in a bill which will be brought forward by Education Minister Jan O'Sullivan.

The Irish Independent has learned that the bill has been approved by Cabinet for drafting.

The Retention of Records Bill 2015 will provide for the strict and confidential sealing of documents from the Commission into Child Abuse, the Residential Institutions Redress Board and the Residential Institutions Review Committee.

Tom Cronin of Irish Survivors of Institutional Abuse International said abuse survivors were "shocked and horrified" that the records would be sealed for so long.

"I can understand that these documents are sensitive and that they might need to be sealed for a period of years.

"But why seal them for 75 years? Why not seal them for five or 10 years? By the time they can be accessed again, everyone associated with this most shameful period of Irish history will be long dead. The whole thing won't be anything more than a footnote in history by 2090," he said.

Mr Cronin also expressed concern that, by sealing the documents, the Government may unwittingly frustrate any potential future legal action by abuse survivors.

"Who knows what new evidence or material might arise in the future? That new evidence might prove worthless because the vital supporting documentation will be locked away in a vault for 75 years."

Ms O'Sullivan has defended the Government's position, saying the records are "highly sensitive and contain the personal stories of victims of institutional child abuse".

"I believe that it is important that these records are not destroyed, both to ensure that future generations will understand what happened and out of respect to the victims who came forward," she said.

"By sealing the records for 75 years and ensuring appropriate safeguards on the release of the records thereafter, we are in a position to preserve these sensitive records."

Maeve Lewis, director of charity One In Four, said the bill represented a difficult compromise between those who wanted the records kept as a vital part of Irish history and those who demanded all documentation be destroyed on confidentiality grounds.

"It is a compromise. Our position was that these records had to be preserved as a vital part of Irish history. In fact, we felt that the destruction of these documents would be a crime," she said.

The Government plan is for all documents from the various abuse probes to be lodged with the National Archives.


COMMISSION INTO CHILD ABUSE

Sometimes known as the Ryan Report or the Laffoy Commission after the judges who headed the lengthy probe, the investigation ran for 10 years, from 1999 to 2009. It inquired into the abuse of children in a range of different Irish institutions.

It examined all forms of abuse dating from 1936 and amongst its most shocking findings was the treatment meted out to children in industrial schools operated by Church bodies with the support of the State.

These ranged from rapes, beatings and the starvation of children, to youngsters being hired out as cheap labour. The abuse was described as "endemic" and was said to be "the most shameful episode in the history of the Irish State".

The Residential Institutions Redress Board (RIRB) was set up in 2002 to compensate those who were abused as children in various State and Church institutions since 1936.

By the end of 2013, the RIRB had dealt with 16,620 applications for compensation. The total awards made amounted to €944.1m. The average award was €62,530.

What did police know about historic child sex offences Link

A former Army officer has said any new investigation of the Kincora Boys' Home must have access to information from intelligence agencies.

Colin Wallace tried to draw attention to sexual abuse at the east Belfast home in the 1970s.

He said if the home is included in a UK-wide investigation into abuse, then the terms of any inquiry into what happened must be widened.

In 1981, three senior care staff at the home were jailed for abusing 11 boys.

It has been claimed that people of the "highest profile" were connected.

Mr Wallace received intelligence in 1973 to say that boys were being abused, but claims some of his superiors refused to pass on the information.

"I know that some officers from the security services in Northern Ireland did know and actually reprimanded intelligence officers from raising the matter and also told them they were to desist from any further investigation," he told the BBC's Sunday Sequence programme.

Mr Wallace said two previous inquiries which looked at Kincora - the Terry Inquiry and the Hughes Inquiry - did not examine evidence relating to the intelligence services.

"My evidence, and the evidence of other people, was ruled out, because those inquiries quite clearly, and indeed, we know now specifically and deliberately, ruled out the role of the intelligence services," he said.

"The evidence that I was willing to give to previous inquiries, from the Official Secrets point of view I couldn't do that because that was not within the terms of those inquiries.

"If there is going to be any way of moving this forward, the government - and David Cameron has said no stone will be unturned - must make sure that any information, held anywhere by any agency will be made available.

"But of course the problem is, I know from my own personal experience, that those files have long since disappeared."

'Truth may never be known'

Mr Wallace said he doubted the full truth would ever be known about Kincora.

"I don't want to be pessimistic and I genuinely hope that there will be a major effort now to bring closure, now that we know more about abuses on a national scale," he said.

"But I have to say, based on my own personal experience, I really doubt that very much (that the full truth will ever be known)."

Kincora victims, politicians, former police officers and campaign groups have all called for Kincora to be included in a UK-wide investigation into abuse.

The chair of Northern Ireland's Historical Instorical Abuse Inquiry, Sir Anthony Hart, has said it "does not have sufficient powers" to investigate some of the allegations relating to Kincora.

'Terrible abuses'

On Friday, NI First Minister Peter Robinson said the terms of reference for the UK's abuse inquiry should include Kincora.

"I want to see a full investigation into the terrible abuses which occurred in Kincora," he said.

"Having received this communication from Sir Anthony, it is clear that the proper route to fully investigate the abuse at Kincora Boys' Home is to have it included in our United Kingdom's Child Abuse Inquiry."

Gerry was one of the original “Hooded Men” and had been active in the Republican movement, since the mid 1960s.

Gerry was arrested and interned on Monday the 9th of August 1971.Early on the morning of 11th August Gerry and the others were hooded and handcuffed, bundled into a truck where they were kicked and beaten, and brought to a helicopter.

After a flight of 30-60 minutes, they were pulled out of the helicopter, beaten and put into another vehicle, which brought them to RAF Ballykelly.

At RAF Ballykelly, Gerry’s hood was tightened and he was beaten badly before being taken into a room with a noise similar to “a constant roar of steam escaping a valve from a steam boiler.”

He was given another physical examination, stripped, and issued a pair of army overalls that were far too small. He was put into the search position against the wall, his feet bare on a slippery floor.

After a period of time, he was no longer able to hold himself up, fell and passed out. He awoke while being beaten around the kidneys. This pattern continued for days.

Gerry was eventually given a pair of boots and taken back to a helicopter, beaten all the way. He was transported to a place where he was served with internment papers; he felt some sense of relief that although the beatings continued, he was no longer subjected to the wall-standing and other techniques.

At Ballykelly, the torture continued. Gerry found it much more difficult to keep track of time. The interrogations became much more violent, as he was threatened, abused and insulted each time before being taken back to what he began to refer to as the “music room.”

He was told that he would never see his wife and children again if he did not cooperate. I recall Gerry telling me, his thoughts at the time were “Hell dare not be like this,”

After several days, Gerry was finally allowed to sleep, given a meal, and permitted to wash up before being taken to Crumlin Gaol.

At the Gaol, all of the men experienced an air of jubilation that they were still alive and free of the torture. Gerry called it “an absolute high.” In mid-October 1971, the Hooded Men were transferred from Crumlin Road to Long Kesh internment camp, where Gerry served as OC.

Gerrard McKerr was released from Long Kesh in 1975. The last year of his interment he was sick, developing a number of lumps on his neck for which he was given antibiotics.
Upon his release, he was diagnosed with lymphoma.

Two years later, his wife called him to the door; there were some men who were looking for him. Gerry, sensing trouble, grabbed the first man and slammed the door; the second man fired a gun through the door, hitting Gerry in the abdomen and groin area.

He believed the perpetrators were members of the Glenanne gang, to which nearly 90 murders in the Armagh area were attributed, including those of the Miami Showband.

Six weeks later, when he was getting ready to take his children to school, Gerry found a bomb planted beneath his car. Gerry moved his family from their home to a new house in the town.

I was with Gerry the moment we received the news the Irish government would request the European courts reopen the case of the Hooded Men. He was delighted and said “Justice, finally we will get justice”.

I will ensure that Gerry will receive justice. The case will continue in his honour.

EVOLUTION OF SYSTEMIC CHILD ABUSE

Since I was forced as a young boy, to pour water over, what appeared to my child's eyes as my mother's dead body, lying on a concrete floor, in the west of Ireland, I internalized my anger to the point of where it became frozen rage. After I discovered the extent of the problem, both personally and in Irish society, after I put down the drink and went to associate recovery groups in the Jellinek Clinic in the Netherlands, I started to slowly, deal with my many anger issues in my relationships with other people. I learned that I was as sick as my secrets and in order to recover, my internalized rage needed fresh air or as some would say the Sunlight of the Spirit. It still does and perhaps this has something to do with motivation for this blog.


Anyway, after I returned to Ireland, many years before the child abuse issue, went mainstream, I re-acquainted myself with my bad ass friend Christy, and had to share with him, what I was learning and that it appeared to me, to be an endemic problem in Ireland, that bothered me greatly. Now both for Christy's sake and my own, I have to be fair and mention, that in our own cases, it did not extend to any sexual abuse. In fact one of the reasons I was attracted to Christy's guidance, is that I witnessed a very happy home. Anyway I shared with Christy my disturbed feelings, about the extent of it and how uncomfortable it made me feel, in that I was picking up this rage vibe everywhere I went from people around me in Ireland.


Christy as usual, explained to me in his usual down to earth way, the realities of what he saw around him. If you ever visit the very beautiful Achill Island in County Mayo, off the west coast of Ireland, you will find rows and rows of old stone houses, falling into disrepair, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, some of which, date back to pre-holocaust days in Ireland and before the mass exodus that emptied our land. There is considerable debate about the extent of this matter, with many realistic claims, that the numbers of Irish lives lost, being on an even greater scale than the Jewish holocaust.


You will also notice if you visit, how tiny most of these homes are and if you are familiar with the history of obstructed birth control in Ireland, you will learn, that quite regularly, an Irish family often extended up to 20 persons. Christy simply asked me, what I thought frequently happened, with whole families sleeping up on top of each other, in such small one roomed abodes, particularly if you factor in, the regular Irish diet of the time, that included vast quantities of poitin, otherwise known as the untaxed, "peoples whisky"or what the old Celtic Irish monks called "uisce beatha," meaning when translated, 'water of life', which is currently at a premium in Ireland, thanks to what Gerry Adams refers to as, our great and glorious leader from Mayo, "Sliabheen" or Mountain man. Yes, we may have a beautiful land, but few visitors, are aware of the cruelty that lies just under surface of its veneer or real history and even fewer still, of the native Irish, talk about it, under pain of death or at a minimum, forced emigration. 'Don't let the side down' is Ireland's greatest enabler of Child Rape.



My father, as a teenage boy, broke rocks with a lump hammer, from the dawn of day until sunset, to help put bacon on the table of the large family he came from. He was paid something paltry by the horse and cart load. He battered rocks, until his own heart became as hard as the rocks themselves. He joined the fascist blueshirts, which were Ireland's equivalent of Hitler and Mussolini, from other Roman Catholic cultures in Europe. It killed any bit of nature that was in the man. My mother's family on the other hand, took wounded Irish rebels across the river Shannon in Meelick, to try to recover. She was a strong minded woman, the equal of any man, in any rural field of Ireland, at that time. She was not of a submissive nature. Hence the war zone within the four walls of my childhood home. 

She was of a time before women's liberation, that after sufficient batterings and with males being the sole adjudicators of power in the Ireland of that time, i.e. the local sergeant, the local doctor, in fact all of the local bureaucracy,with the exception of the midwife, she was eventually locked up with nervous breakdowns, treated with crude electric shock treatment, incorrectly medicated, to the point, that a lot of the local patriarchal society, deemed her mad, as many today would term myself her son, for having the audacity to write  publicly about all of this. She recovered some of her sanity eventually, paradoxically through religion, I prefer a more pagan form of Spirituality myself.

Now at this point I have to be very careful and sparing with my words, in order to to be fair to other people. I too, like my father had to emigrate to the great metropolis of London, for several complex reasons, such as the material, escape from such an emotionally incestious culture, along with my developing alcoholism. I had spent most of my childhood, doing a man's work on the farm, which some would term as being a muck savage, working a spade for a lot of it. After working in London, digging holes under the supervision of other Irish muck savage, 'ganger men,' I eventually found a job under an English one, who was a decent enough man. Unlike my previous supervisors, when it rained, he called us in out of the rain and treated us fairly. However we almost came to blows one day, when he told me, that I didn't know how to work a spade properly. I had worked with one all of my childhood life,"How phuking dare he say such a thing!"


However for once, putting reason before reaction and thinking about pay day, I watched him demonstrate, how to let the actual spade, do most of the work. I had to admit, that he was correct. I learned an important lesson that day, primarily not to let prejudice, close my mind. Anyway during this time, I was further politicized by the deaths of two Irish republican hunger strikers, Michael Gaughan and Frank Stagg in British Gaols in England. It was a reactionary instinctual matter, along with the jailing of several other innocent Irish, such as Gerry Conlon and further experiences, around a relationship, with my first wife from Occupied Ireland, in London, that I eventually, reluctantly volunteered, for the first time, to join the IRA. With the wisdom of hindsight, it was a reactionary form of political motivation for me personally, that I now realize, was not pro-active or progressive, as it sometimes is with other Irish republicans. I will make many enemies with that statement but then I have already made many enemies with my own written experiences of my truth, particularly with the British Secret Services.


Anyway, we eventually wound up back in Newry and tried to rear five children, in an Irish town with more than 80% unemployment, that was calculatedly gerrymandered and politically engineered. Such an environment, from my own experiences in such places, brings out both the best and the worst in many people. I became a political activist and again witnessed the deaths of 10 more Irish hunger strikers. The best way I can describe this experience is, that it was traumatizing. I used to go at the end of my day, to a local pub with Irish music, to try to chill out. My family as a result of my time consuming activity and drinking, suffered from paternal neglect and poverty, which my wife mostly managed on her own. The matter climaxed one day, when Eamon Gilmore, the owner of the local supermarket at that time and with a background in the Official Republican Movement, otherwise known as the Stickies, arrived at my door. Yes the same Eamon Gilmore who later became an Irish Labour Party politician and in the Government of Ireland, held the offices of Tánaiste ( deputy Prime Minster) and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, from March 2011 until July 2014. He was also to become the Leader of the Labour Party from September 2007 to July 2014.


Anyway the bould Eamon stood at my door asserting, in a very plausible manner, that my two oldest sons, who would have been respectively aged 7 and 5 at that time, had cashed two social security checks, stolen from the letter boxes of various neighbours. I was dumbfounded and incredulous but he persisted. While he was of opposing political views to me in many respects I could see no good reason, why he was not being truthful and I told him, I would deal with the matter. Now after growing up in my own childhood home, I tried as best I could, to ensure that such things were not to be repeated in my own home. In fact when I was 16 I made a solemn vow to myself, that one day I would grow up and my home would be very different. Anyway I closed the door and while suffering from a hangover, I proceed to interrogate my two young sons, in the most civilized way that I could. They persisted to deny Mr. Gilmore's claims.

I persisted as patiently as I could under the circumstance, to interrogate them, until at length I lost my patience and ordered them, to lower their pants and I proceeded to use my belt to chastise them, until they were red. They still refused to admit guilt. After reflection that day, I decided I was a failure as a father and made the decision, that it was best for everyone, to leave. It was heart breaking but I used drink as my medicine. I might add, that leading up to that time, I had many visits, which I still regard as spurious, from British Social Services, regarding child neglect. Thirty years later I still don't know the truth of the matter but I might add, that I had many neighbours who were politically aligned with that party.  Please forgive me if I include at this point, my usual glimpse of sanity.

Paradoxically today, my best friend, is an unashamed English capitalist, with Cornish blood in his veins and a socialist heart. We argue a lot. After many years, I have come to the conclusion that the English are a very clever people. At one stage in the south of England, I was a salesman, knocking on tens of thousands of doors in the south of England for several years. I can honestly say that at the height of the Irish troubles being brought to London, I was always treated with courtesy and respect, with just the one exception. The Industrial revolution happened in England, before it happened in the rest of the world. I believe it gave them an edge in the modern world. Previously unlike Ireland they learned and applied much, from their conquest by the Roman Empire. They applied it so successfully, that they conquered and ruled the seven seas. As I previously mentioned, the sun never set on the British Empire because God couldn't trust an Englishman in the dark. The best summation I have heard of their Empire ruled by the City of London, is that they are a nation of Pirates. It still however begs the question, of how such a relatively small island, can still pull the strings in a Commonwealth, that extends to the other side of their world.

Ancient sociology, dating as far back as ancient Egypt, of which I am mostly ignorant, primarily through their art, records the common existence of various deviances, such as sex with children and animals as it still is legal is several countries to this day. I first came across this peronally, working as an activist for several years managing an Advice Centre in British Occupied Ireland. I initially could not comprehend it. Years later, in the course of trying to pass on my recovery to newcomers, some people came and confided in me with regard to this matter. They seemed otherwise, to be very sincere and gentle people. Again reluctantly I had to inform them, that I had no specific experience of these matters and from what I learned from others, I therfore was in no position to help them. I had to let them go and point them in the direction of people where they might get help. 

Recently Pitcairn, the remote Pacific island that was settled by mutineers from the British Royal Navy ship Bounty in 1789, became a focus of attention, when most of its men were put on trial on child sexual abuse offences and now has, its first female mayor. Britain sent jailers to the remote Pitcairn Island. From my own personal experience in Occupied Ireland, I believe this example, holds the key to how Britannia Rules the Waves but then who am I to judge. I simply want the children of the Island of my birth liberated, where they can get a genuine education about these critical facts of life and evolution. Where they can grow up, to be women and men free from sexual, mental and material slavery.

The Northern Ireland Office (NIO) will be fairly content with the way the Sinn Féin/Maíria Cahill rape controversy has been playing out.

Northern Ireland secretary of state Theresa Villiers’s officials may be concerned about possible reputational damage to key supporters of the peace process but they will also be aware that the intense political and media concentration on the alleged interventions of the IRA and Gerry Adams will have helped deflect attention from the role of the British authorities.

Politically, the most striking element in the BBC Spotlight programme that brought Cahill’s allegations to a wider public came from Mark Durkan. The Foyle MP related that he had been told by a number of Westminster colleagues that they had been briefed by Sinn Féin MPs who, referring the Police Service of Northern Ireland investigation of Cahill’s claims, “said they were very concerned about what they said was political policing”.

, too, that he had been approached by former Labour NI secretary Shaun Woodward, “Who asked me if I was concerned about what was happening to poor Pádraic, and referred to the issues, difficulties and concerns that he was aware Sinn Féin had, and that this was very worrying for the process . . .

“He said that we couldn’t go pursuing these sorts of issues.”

“Pádraic” was Pádraic Wilson, alleged by Cahill to have been involved in meeting her in his capacity as a representative of the IRA. Wilson’s importance for consolidating the IRA ceasefire had been recognised in his release from Long Kesh for eight hours in May 1998 to speak at an IRA convention. At the time, a month after the Belfast Agreement, there was no unanimity in IRA ranks about continuing down a road that, logically, would lead to disbandment. The NIO explained that Wilson had been released “in an effort to promote the agreement and to encourage the peace process”.

Wilson had been serving 24 years for a car-bomb offence. He was IRA commander in the prison. Few other figures would have had comparable clout when it came to swaying the rank and file. Ed Moloney, author of A Secret History of the IRA, characterised the relationship: “He loved them and they loved him back.”

Thus, the NIO had reason to feel a certain commitment to Wilson. The referendum in May 1998 – a fortnight after Wilson addressed the IRA convention – confirmed the great popularity of the peace deal among Northern nationalists. It was the IRA, not the mass of the people, which had needed to be persuaded.

On this view, Woodward’s endorsement of Sinn Féin concerns raises the concern that the NIO put at least as much store on alleviating the anxieties of those who had been indispensable in the making of the agreement as on the pleas of a young woman who said she had been raped. Many in the North, not all of them Sinn Féin supporters, thankful for the degree of peace that now obtains, might, perhaps regretfully, accept this order of priorities. But what it means in practice is that we must not pursue these issues, that wronged women must wait.

The readiness of the British authorities to treat sexual abuse as of little account when a valued political project was at stake had already been evident in the Kincora affair in the 1970s when the systematic rape of boys in the care of the state had been ignored, and even facilitated, by MI5 in order to keep a network of loyalist informants onside.

Documents released last July under the 30-year rule, despite having been heavily redacted, showed MI5 had closely monitored the sodomising of teenage boys over a period of years. We were later to learn that RUC officers investigating Kincora believed their efforts had been thwarted by MI5. This was also the view of former MI5 officer Colin Wallace.

One document gave an account of a meeting in February 1972 which heard the RUC was conducting three separate investigations of the Kincora complaints. It recorded the meeting being told: “There are persistent rumours that ‘guilty men’ in high places have not been brought to justice”; but suggested it was unlikely these “vague rumours” could ever be substantiated.

The attendance list for the meeting included UK attorney general Michael Havers, Lord Chancellor Quintin Hogg, senior civil service legal adviser Sir William Bourne, and Northern Secretary Jim Prior. That is, the British government’s most senior legal officials along with one of Woodward’s predecessors.

The least that can be said is that the British government has form when it comes to taking a close interest in sex abuse cases that subsequently fail to reach satisfactory conclusions.

Adams still has questions to answer. But the NIO and the British authorities generally should not be allowed to continue to sing dumb about their role over many years regarding the sexual abuse of youngsters. Harrying Adams should not rule out hammering on the door of Villiers’s office.
