Could north of England really break away from the rest of Britain and become part of 'New Scotland'?

A petition calling for the North to secede from England and become part of Scotland has got over 28,000 signatures. How practical would this be?


Where would become part of Scotland?


The authors of the original petition have drawn a line south of Sheffield, Liverpool, and Hull.


The new border would run between the River Dee and the mouth of The Humber, with the three UK regions of the North West, the North East, and Yorkshire and the Humber included.


Stoke, Nottingham, and Derby would narrowly miss out on being part of New Scotland.
Why do people want it to happen?


The petitioners feel that the Government of the UK is “becoming increasingly irrelevant to the north of England”.


The only cabinet minister with a seat in the North of England is George Osborne himself, who represents Tatton and Cheshire.


“The needs and challenges of the north cannot be understood by the endless parade of old Etonions lining the frontbenches of the House of Commons. The north of England should join the newly independent Scotland and regain control over its own destiny,” they say.


“We, the people of the north, demand that in the event that Scotland becomes independent the border between England and the New Scotland be.


The petition comes after an election in which Scotland was swept by an SNP positioning itself to the left of the Labour party, a stance apparently appealing to many northern cities. A poll before the election found that millions of people in England and Wales would vote SNP if given the opption.
How could the North join Scotland?


Northern secession to Scotland would face number of significant hurdles. At the very least, there is a precedent that a referendum would have to be held and won.


After a referendum, the results would have to be accepted by both the UK government and the Scottish government.


But even getting to the point at which a referendum was held would be difficult. The north as a whole has no regional assembly or parliament like Scotland in which such a debate could be conducted and separatist politicians elected to.


Realistically, individual local councils would either have to hold referenda, or a vote would have to be organised independently of the state using civil society organisations.


It would be nigh-on impossible to get all the 70+ northern local authorities to agree to the former, while the latter would probably be ignored by central government.


If a referendum was secured it would be a huge turnaround from the one held under the last Labour government where the North East rejected even having a regional assembly.


Border towns could in theory hold local referendums and secede in a piecemeal manner. Other possibilities like unilateral annexation of the North by the Scottish Parliament or armed insurrection are even more remote possibilities.
Has this ever happened anywhere before?


The good news for secessionists is that transfers of territory between states have historically been fairly common. The bad news is that annexations have unfortunately have historically usually involved violence.


The most recent examples tend to involve Russia. South Ossetia, a disputed territory in the caucasus, is being absorbed into Russia after a brief war in 2008. A 1992 referendum held in the region was not recognised as valid by most countries.


The Crimea has also been annexed from Ukraine by Russia, though again under circumstances of conflict. A referendum was held in the territory in 2014, though again, it was not widely recognised.


It could be argued that conversely, many former constituent republics of the USSR were transferred to the European Union after gaining national independence.

May 16, 2015 "Information Clearing House" - "Mondoweiss" - Nothing more exemplifies the historical whitewash of British rule in Palestine between 1917 and 1948 than the response (or lack of) to David Cameron’s speech in the Israeli Kneeset in March 2014. Therein he briefly propounded the much overlooked fact that Britain was the main western supporter of the Zionist colonial experiment in Palestine from the very beginning.

“From the early pioneers,” boasted Cameron, “the men and women of the Palestine Exploration Fund, who saw the Jewish history in this land and the possibilities for the future to the Balfour Declaration – the moment when the State of Israel went from a dream to a plan Britain has played a proud and vital role in helping to secure Israel as a homeland for the Jewish people.”

Cameron clearly defined the Balfour declaration as the moment Israel went from “a dream to a plan.” This plan was then ‘secured’ which strongly seems to be euphuism for implemented. More so, he then, somewhat self-incriminatory, said that British imperialism “played a proud and vital role in helping to secure Israel as a homeland for the Jewish people.”

Not one commentator in the UK, critical or otherwise, latched on to this crucial point. Presumably, it’s far less taxing on one’s moral conscience to emulate American, Arab and even Israeli commentators on the current Palestinian situation than face up to your own government’s historical criminal culpability – a culpability which Cameron drew attention to at the Knesset of all places?

Obviously, Cameron naturally never outlined how Britain ‘secured’ the homeland for the Jewish people.

However, it was in these years, i.e. 1917-1948, that the “only democracy in the Middle East” as Zionist propagandists lovingly refer to their colonial project was secured by Britain by first, denying Palestinians representative democracy which would have inevitably limited colonial immigration to their country. Secondly, when the first Palestinian uprising finally exploded in 1936 it was the British that led the repression against the Palestinian resistance and in doing so, also educated the nascent Zionist-settler forces on how to military crush and oppress the indigenous population.[1]

By the time the state of Israel was declared on 14th May 1948, 400,000 Palestinians and 250 villages and towns had already been ethnically cleansed by the Zionist forces under Britain’s secured watch.[2] Further ethnic cleansing took place after the Zionists declared their state. Ghassan Kanafani, the Palestinian revolutionary, was to argue that the Zionists in the late 1940’s were plucking “the fruits of the defeat of the 1936 revolt which the outbreak of the war had prevented it from doing sooner.”[3]

Progressive British activists, writers and politicians rarely acknowledge, if ever, the central role played by their Empire in laying the foundations and facilitating the ethnic cleansing of Palestine. Cameron’s and Great Britain’s national hero, Winston Churchill on the other hand, specifically justified the “proud and vital role” of the Empire at the Peel Commission on Palestine in 1937 on this basis:


“I do not admit that the dog in the manger has the final right to the manger, even though he may have lain there for a very long time. I do not admit that right. I do not admit, for instance, that a great wrong has been done to the Red Indians of America, or the black people of Australia. I do not admit that a wrong has been done to those people by the fact that a stronger race, a higher grade race, or, at any rate, a more worldly-wise race, to put it that way, has come in and taken their place. I do not admit it. I do not think the Red Indians had any right to say, ‘The American Continent belongs to us and we are not going to have any of these European settlers coming in here’. They had not the right, nor had they the power.”[4]

As Churchill strongly implies the Zionist project with its attendant occupation and ethnic cleansing of Palestine, i.e. the Nakba, had nothing to do with Jewish history as discovered by the so-called ‘Palestine Exploration Fund’ and everything to do with racist colonialism backed by the power of the foreign policy of an Empire that has escaped accountability for its role in this ongoing tragedy.

DIRTY WAR BLOODY SUNDAY

In my teenage years before Bloody Sunday, I used to go to the Hangar in Salthill, after a few pints in O'Connors. My favourite group at that time, was the Freshmen, who used to play a lot in Seapoint, their religion and political allegiance, were irrelevant. Belfast was producing the best music in Ireland, in my opinion at that time, including Van Morrison and other blues groups, who did a lot of the backing for some the top groups worldwide on their vinyl releases.

I loved music and in particular dancing. It was one of the outlets, to express how I felt, and these groups turned me on. Thin Lizzie were just starting at that time and they were great for headbanging. Most people "jived" at that time, but with a few pints in me, I would cut loose on the floor and I didn't give a phuck what people thought. I learned years later, how to do this sober and it was a great outlet for pent-up emotion and there was also something spiritual about it.

A lot of people used to come down from the north of Ireland to Salthill, from the north in July, to get away from the Orangemen and the troubles they created, with their marching and "Taig" bashing season. I was working in O'Learys bar at the time and I used to give them free drink.Then the fights between the Stickies and the Provos started and they wrecked the place.

I met Cathleen in the Hangar, we danced a few dances including a few slow ones, which was really sex standing up. We chatted and I learned Cathleen was from the Arran Islands and she worked in one of the Hotels for the Summer season. Well I could feel Cathleen wanted it as much as I did, but in those days we did not have a pad or anything like it. So we went out into a field at the back of the Hangar.

Now again, these were the days of Catholic Ireland before the Cosmopolitan rag and birth control pills, so everything was up for grabs and our clothes came off, except our blue jeans. Well between Cathleen's hunger for a bit of rough and my own, it was hell for leather. Now I don't know about teenagers these days but it was raw and pure sexual passion.

We were grinding with our jeans, from after midnight, until the crack of dawn. Now that's a long time for a couple with their jeans on, and Cathleen had as much sexual power, if not more than I had. Anyway she dug her clawing nails, into my bare back as she craved coileach, the whole night long, while she tore the skin off it.

At dawn being the gentle soul that I was back then, I crawled back as best we could, with her to her room in Bushypark, which seemed an eternity away to my bandy legs, sore crotch and bleeding back. That was the last I saw of Cathleen but I did have a session with her sister, the night before she got married the following year. That was Catholic sex back then, which later, with a couple of Convent beoirs fromTuam, introduced me, to the concept of three in a bed.

I worked as a barman at that time, in a lot of the pubs in Salthill, until I became a computer technician, and Galway was a place of fun in those times, but this all changed after Bloody Sunday. The British Embassy was burned down in Dublin and most of the young fellows I knew, were either going up to Derry to join the IRA or talking about it. Like the lads from the north however, this question, of joining either the Official IRA or the Provisional IRA, was a very hot issue and many a good friendship was lost over it.The Brits and their agents, along with ego, were cultivating this division, as are their agents today, between Irish people from both the north and the south of Ireland.

So right from the off, the Brits had us where they wanted us, divided, with Martin McGuinness from Derry, a leading player in all of this. I will not elaborate further, for obvious reasons and I am not going into the realm of speculation, you can do that yourself, but unlike Owen Carron he wasn't anywhere to be seen, after the Brits butchered the innocent

Anyway, the days of wine and roses, turned to pure rage and hatred after that. In hindsight, it is easy to be wise, and know that reactionary violence is not smart and is ultimately self-destructive. Dirty War is a dark art, mastered by the British, with the unlimited resources of Empire, under the cloak and protection, of a rotten British justice system, that includes political internment and outsourced torture.

The Brits with all their experience in their colonies, know the script from the off and were prepared, being the clever manipulators they are, they took full advantage of the ensuing provoked rage, to conduct their Kitson experiments, that later evolved into to Abu Ghraib, False Flag operations, counter gangs, astroturf political entities, to create political parties, to do their bidding worldwide after exit, with covert neo-colonialism, which incidentally includes the united snakes of a,b,c,d....etc.

Eventually like my father before me and many an Irishman since, I took the boat from our impoverished land of Saints and Scoundrels to England, where I squatted in the pad, of the framed, innocent Guilford Four. Those were the "hippy" days in Maida Vale and London of John Lennon's time, of give peace a chance, who later met his fate in New York.

It was there, I met a wee woman from a locality, known as the Murder Triangle, in County Armagh, where 120 innocent people were murdered by the British police known as the RUC and the British Army known as the UDR.The people who tried to defend the community were locked up and spent most of their live in jails.

We got married and had five children. One of the primary political motivations, that kept me going, in the ensuing years, was that my children, would be free of all of this one day and have a decent chance at life. Well, Britain's Dirty War in Ireland Ireland still continued for many a year, in fact it still does, albeit more subtly, which led, to what in my opinion, was a Pseudo Peace Process, built on half-truths and the creation of British Sinn Fein.

The reason I use those terms, is that after the British felt they had "sanitized" the situation, i.e. killing or interning any real resistance, a tinkered agreement of sorts, included the disbandment of the now disgraced RUC paramilitary police, to be replaced with an illusionary proper police force,the called "PSNI," with a certain amount of "Catholics" allowed, which was run by a Chief Constable brought over from from London, initially.

After he left, they replaced him, with a Chief Constable from the ranks of the disgraced RUC, to take charge, while British Sinn Fein's chief enforcer of 'outlaws and disorder' former IRA person, Gerry Kelly, ordered Irish people, to become informers to British Forces in Occupied Ireland.
There is a video below from the British Broadcasting Corporation, the leading presstitute of empire, which despite their spin, can give you an insight of the problem of such a force being run by goat lovers.

This coupled with MI5 procuring guns for informers, trainingg them to kill in Ballykinlar with letting them loose in society, with a licence to kill or kneecap, whoever they please, coupled with arranging a drug supply from the 'Lords of the Global Drug Trade' and false flags of political convenience, to discredit genuine, innocent, Irish republicans, which causes mayhem and confusion, all over the island, while lazy paramilitary police of the PSNI and MI5, sit back laughing at the intimidated communities bunkered down in fear. Iris, Willie and the Provos, collaborate in this racket as well.

Now if I were still living in Occupied Ireland, I can assure you, that I would either be dead, or politically interned , with some contrived accident or other, for writing about all of this, in such explicit terms. The general status of most of the population, living in fear of kneecappings, has made people very self-centered. To put it in a nutshell, the policy is to keep them terrorized, drunk, doped up and ignorant, with censorship, drugs, drink and religion.

This is what passes for a peace process, which in reality is a sick, secret, society of fear, with medication and ignorance, bred by rampant censorship and subsidized by the ordinary English taxpayer to the tune of 10 billion pounds annually. The British have indeed, mastered the dark arts of repression, while the fat cats of the 'terrorist narrative' budget grows annually, fuelled with fear.They usually will not censor Irish Blog directly but their West Brit agents will. They use intranets to slow it down sufficiently to prevent it being read in Ireland. If you disagree, with this analysis, I encourage you to do your own research and you can judge for yourself.

I suggest you start by watching their own BBC video below, while asking yourself the question, would you follow Kelly's orders and inform on your family and friends, who might be engaged in some form of resistance to British Occupation, to have them possibly assassinated or tried by a nonjury court?

Would you inform a a police force, headed by a Chief Constable, from the ranks of the former, murdering, disgraced RUC, who have framed the two young lads, in the picture heading this post, just like, they framed the innocent Guildford Four and put them away, for the rest of their lives, but for the persistence of a few good people, post Bloody Sunday, they would have all died in prison?

No amount of tinkering, with this scum, sectarian state, they like to call Northern Ireland, will make it a fit place, for civilised people to rear their children. I really tried as best I could, to keep my children away from politics, when I lived there, particularly, the drama of the hunger strike. When my second son was three or four, he went up to a British soldier on Hill Street and said, "When I grow up, I am going to shoot you, because you killed Bobby Sands."

I wanted my children to grow up in an Ireland, free from this British Dirty War, that destroyed my generation. It's not happening and I am angry, that after 45 years of "Dirty War," it still goes on, and it won't stop, until we find a better way. Young people will not change their tactics unless a better route such as International Standards of Justice are offered to them in Ireland.

British Sinn Fein won't do it, because like their paymasters, the British Government, they have too many dirty secrets and vested interests in the status quo. Martin McGuinness may waffle on about a united Ireland in the near future, but the butcher from Derry has no credibility left, with intelligent, people, who have been educated by their experience of Dirty War over the last forty-five years. He would be better oof in the House off Lords in London, beside his beloved assholes, where there are plenty of toilets to lick, the last time I checked.

I have no problem, standing before the International Criminal Court and abiding by civilised standards of International Justice. Who but the guilty, would have a problem with that? So Britain out with you war criminals, let's be having you. Who's afraid of the truth, none but the guilty? I am calling on any ethical political leadership, left in Ireland, to unite, like the Palestinian Authority and put Britain in the dock for crimes against humanity and genocide, committed in Ireland. I am asking you, dear reader, wherever you are in th world, whatever your nationality, to help yourself and them. It may be Ireland today but it may very well be you and yours, tomorrow, with these united snakes of False Flags and their Dirty Wars, crawling around the globe.

SECRETS OF PROVO CHILDREN

When I was young boy growing up in the west of Ireland, I would often hear the older people say, that the three curses of Ireland were, the English, drink and religion. I have experienced much in my lifetime. to confirm their analysis to be absolutely correct. My father used to drink a fair bit and from my earliest memories, I witnessed him come home regularly and batter my mother, before he would turn his attention to me. I made an oath to myself when I was sixteen, that one day, I would have a home of my own, that would be so much different. One of my brief moments of hope in our home, was, when one day he packed his suitcase and said he was going back to England. It was very brief, as he left, he looked at my brothers, sisters and myself, as I watched him change his mind. My heart dropped. and I subsequently lived through, years of what can be best descibed as a domestic war zone. 

He was also a blueshirt, who as a young teenager, attended their fascist rallies. I vowed again to myself at 17, that when I was 18 that I would accept no more beatings, at which time, I duly stood up to him, looked him squarely in the eye and told him, if he laid a hand on me, I would batter him, which I duly did, wherepon he went out and got the same slashhook, that I witnessed both of parents take to each other in the previous 18 years. I had also made my mind up at that stage to be a priest. That was before I found drink and Catholic sex, which changed my mind. On his deathbed, he apologized to me and admitted that, the Cause of the Irish Republic, was the correct one.

Well a few years went by and circumstances in Ireland, dictated that I took the same boat to England, that my father, decades previously had, preceding World War 2. One day as I walked up Kilburn Highroad in London, a young lady approached me from the Workers Revolutionary Party and essentially explained to me, that only International Socialism, had the solution to the World's problems, as opposed to national communism or capitalism. She explained to me the basics of dialectic materialism and so I joined. Around thsi time the Guildford 4 & the Birmingham 6 were framed for crimes, that put them away for the rest of their lives, for crimes they did not commit, as a warning to the irish community in England, to toe the British line. I was aware of this, just as I was aware of the slaughter of scores of innocent unarmed Civil Rights protesters in Derry and Belfast. I had contradictions with the WRP, ignoring these atrocities and left. Around about this time, two Irish Hunger Strikers from the west of Ireland died on Hunger Strikes in British gaols, which had a profound effect on me, being from the same part of Ireland.

I was also living in the same house, from which the Guilford 4 were taken, with some other non politcal Irish lads from the northern part of Ireland. One day a young woman of about 20, turned up. She seemed lost in the big City of London and without direction. With the best of non sexual motives, I tried to help her, get her bearings and took her to the Irish Club in Quex Road. After I introduced her to a few people. I then danced, drank and flirted, with some other Irish acquaintances, that I had known over time. When we returned to the house, the young woman took an overdose, and had to be rushed to the local Emergency Department, where she was punped out. 

After she was released, I could see she was distressed and I tried to be as good a friend as I could, without getting overly intimate. Over the following weeks. she told me, that she had been sent by the IRA to bomb London. I could see she was in no fit state for such activity and I was distressed myself, about what was the correct course of action. I decided myself, that I needed to contact some senior Republicans and volunteer to take her place, as being the only solution under the circumatances, as I knew her life depended on their being a reasonable solution. At this time, we became aware, that we were under 24 hour surveillance by British intelligence, which went on for what seemed like an eternity. 

Irish people in London at that time, aware of what happened to the Guilford 4 & Birmingham 6, were often paranoid, as we ourselves were becoming in this situation. Under these circumstances, it was decided the best I could do, was work with the United Troops Out Movement in London, along with the IRSP and Sinn Fein, to get the British out of Ireland. Our English conrades, mostly from the fringes of the Labour party, many of whom were colleagues of Ken Livingstone, who went on to be become Mayor of London, were an inspiration, with their tireless work for British witdrawal from Ireland. Many people still fail to realize, that more than 70% of the English population have Irish ancestry, with years of immigration from Ireland.

Nevertheless both my new Irish friend and I, became increasingly isolated in London. She slept at the foot of my bed for safety reasons many nights. One night after drinking, we slept together, which then became a habit, until we eventually we had sex. Like a lot of Catholic sex at that time, it was without contraceptives and when I awoke in the mornings, I became aware of the consequence. Besides, we had become very intimate, in many other respects, so we decided the correct thing to do, was to get married. My wife was a very principled woman but like me very passionate and quite volatile or perhaps I have this effect on people. 

She had at that time, many unresolved issues, as a result of growing up in the tinderbox of the sectarian scum state, in the northern part of Ireland. I also with hindsight, can see I had many issues myself, as a result of growing up in my own childhood home. At this time, our home was broken into on several occasions, by agents of the British State. On one occasion I returned home from work, to find my wife unconscious, after the house was ransacked by the British. On another occasion, I returned home to find our newborn child, alone in the house, screaming, after my wife was taken into custody for interrogation and our baby left in the house unattended all day. We decided as a result, to return to Ireland, which was probably the target of our harassment.

We lived for a while in a mobile home and I got work locally but I could not ignore the realities of what was happeing in the part of the Ireland, where my wife came from. All of her family were also there. During this time, I drank heavily and although working, I was a poor husband, which affected my wife and she became increasingly volatile/ While trying to restrain her, I may have slapped her a few times when drunk, I honestly cannot recall, which reminds me of a true story in Ireland, of a man waking up in a police cell in the morning, asking why he was detained. Not receiving an answer, he asked to see his wife, whereupon he was told she was dead. When he asked what happened to her, he was told you murdered her. 

The remorse of the re-occurrring nightmare of my own childhood home tortured me and I drank even more. We decided after many arguments and scuffles, which I would still maintain,  I was trying to restrain her. I was nevertheless very aware the effect, this might have on our first child, and the only solace I seemed to find, was in alcohol, which was still working to a degree in this respect. I arrived in Newry, British Occupied Ireland on the day Lord Mountbatten and his entourage were blown out of the water, not too far from where, both Micheal Gaughan and Frank Stagg, the two Hunger Strikers in England, were born and buried. It was also the same day, that something like 20 British soldiers were blown up, just outside the town, where I had just arrived. I have written posts previously, on what transpired subsequently, from my own experience in that part of Ireland.

There is an article in todays Irish papers, that instigated me writing this piece, which is published below from the Guardian. I above all people, cannot write about the rights and wrongs of it all, other than be aware drink was involved, and certainly cannot make any judgement whatsoever, there but for the stardust, go I. After careful consideration, I have publicshed this article, to reinforce my belief, that to have any genuine peace in Ireland, and to move away from reactionary politics in Ireland, caused by the British presence, into some form of a progressive agenda, a transparent Truth & Reconciliation forum of substance, mentored by someonr of international substance, like Archbishop Tutu is established immediately, rather than waiting for all of the victims & participants to die. 

The British State is built on a foundation of their Act's of Secrecy, while the Provos & their associates, instigate the censorship of the likes of this blog from being posted on any Facebook group. There are too many dark secrets among their insincere leadership, that are making Ireland just as sick as it's many secrets and only the truth can make us free. They have just signed up to yet another so called agreement, which if you examine it carefully, is just an agreement to disagree, and kick it all down the road, until everyone involved is dead. 

My wife and I proceeded to have five children together in that part of Ireland. They today like others of their generation, carry the legacy of the lies, that murdered more than 6 million of my ancestors. It just doesn't go away you know, not until the truth sees the light of day and there is some form of reconciliation. It was many, many years later, I learned, that a self confessed agent of the British Crown, working within the IRA, who was responsible for my ex-wife's visit to London, something they and their numerous other agents, have worked very hard to conceal. I guarantee you, she was not the only one, indeed it is still happening today. So if you want to make a start, to make a stand on this isuue, perhaps you might post this to your Facebook groups, from which I am currently prevented, from sharing by Provo & British agents. Sinead O'Connor while joning a party that is no longer republican, is correct in her call, for all of the old guard to stand down, the difficulty is replacing them with a younger generation of people, who have Ireland and its people's interests at heart, starting with truth & reconciliation not careerism.

A prominent Irish republican who escaped from Brixton prison after being put behind bars for killing a Garda detective has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his wife on Christmas Eve.

Pearse McAuley, who was convicted of killing Garda detective Jerry McCabe in 1996, is in custody after his wife was stabbed repeatedly at their home in the Republic on Wednesday.

McAuley is being questioned about the attack on his wife Pauline, a former Sinn Féin councillor, at their house in County Cavan. The mother of two was rushed to hospital and underwent emergency surgery for a punctured lung, after she was stabbed a number of times during the knife attack at the couple’s Kilnaleck home.

McAuley escaped from Brixton prison in London in July 1991 along with fellow IRA man Nessan Quinlivan. Originally from Strabane in Northern Ireland, McAuley had been awaiting trial on conspiracy to murder and explosives charges in Britain when the IRA staged the breakout.

Five years later, McAuley was part of an IRA unit that attempted to carry out a robbery in Adare in County Limerick. During the botched heist, the gang shot dead Garda detective Jerry McCabe and severely wounded his colleague Ben O’Sullivan.

Sinn Féin tried to portray the robbery and fatal shooting as the acts of apolitical criminals and later blamed rival republican group, the Irish National Liberation Army.

The coverup created widspread anger among the Garda Siochána’s rank and file over what many believed was a bogus story motivated by protecting the peace process.

It emerged that McAuley and four other members of the IRA’s Munster brigade had been responsible. Although murder charges against them were dropped, McAuley was later convicted of manslaughter.

Sinn Féin continued to argue for McAuley and three other IRA members connected to the McCabe killing to be released. When McAuley was eventually freed from jail in 2009, he was met at the prison by Sinn Féin Dail deputy and convicted gunrunner Martin Ferris.

ORANGE ORDER EUGENICS

According to the political doctrine of Unionist Leader Martin McGuinness, the elite of his Orange Order/Castle Catholic state, are the master race, and all of the dissidents are "neanderthals." Now of course in any civilized society in the world, this matter would be debated, but in both scum states of British Occupied Ireland, sponsored scum state terrorism, along with their age old cocktail of censorship and political internment, ensures the matter is settled by the ensuing bully boy tactics of political violence. Unlike his low profile political sandwich of Iris Robinson and her public partner Peter, there are a few Orange men who have actually read Darwin's theory of evolution but unfortunately have misapplied it's biological principles of natural selection and "survival of the fittest" to the social, political, and economic skulduggery of their Orange Order scum state.

Of course if there ever had been a truly genuine Peace Process, these fundamental matters, would in all the time I and others have given it, have already been addressed in a transparent way. The concept of "social Darwinism"has it's origins, in the class struggle of post industrial revolution England, and is often used as a justification and evolutionary model for a scum state, using it as a biological basis for neo-apartheid, as in place like Israel and the former South Africa. Drawing on social Darwinism, Orange men and Zionists of the powerful International eugenics movement, rationalize it as "improving" the human genetic stock, whether it be blue shirted Mayo mountain peasants or Fianna Fail bog trotters, garbed in Offaly shirts or even their own goat shaggers from Markethill.

As an alternative to the McGuinness/Robinson, doctrine and social policies of devolution, that includes cultivating a separate scum state gene pool from the survivors of a cultivated, medicated, moronic, incestious, underclass of paedophiles and people of no property, for unbridled indentured slavery, the following piece, examines the evolution of eugenics, so that the lessons of history, are not forgotten or ignored, by the few remaining class conscious activists, in the two scum states of Ireland. Eugenics

The specter of eugenics hovers over virtually all contemporary developments in human genetics. Eugenics was rooted in the social Darwinism of the late 19th century, a period in which notions of fitness, competition, and biological rationalizations of inequality were popular. At the time, a growing number of theorists introduced Darwinian analogies of "survival of the fittest" into social argument. Many social Darwinists insisted that biology was destiny, at least for the unfit, and that a broad spectrum of socially deleterious traits, ranging from "pauperism" to mental illness, resulted from heredity.

The word "eugenics" was coined in 1883 by the English scientist Francis Galton, a cousin of Charles Darwin, to promote the ideal of perfecting the human race by, as he put it, getting rid of its "undesirables" while multiplying its "desirables" -- that is, by encouraging the procreation of the social Darwinian fit and discouraging that of the unfit. In Galton's day, the science of genetics was not yet understood. Nevertheless, Darwin's theory of evolution taught that species did change as a result of natural selection, and it was well known that by artificial selection a farmer could obtain permanent breeds of plants and animals strong in particular characteristics. Galton wondered, "Could not the race of men be similarly improved?"

Heyday of Eugenics

Eugenics took popular hold after the turn of the 20th century, flourishing for several decades. During its heyday, social prejudice suffused human genetics, often attributing to genetics social differences that were actually rooted in race and class. After World War II, however, biologists in the United States and Britain fought -- by and large successfully -- toemancipate human genetics from such biases in order to establish it as a solid field of science that would explain the complexities of human heredity and assist medicine by illuminating the relationship of genetics to disease.

During the past 50 years, molecular geneticists have located, isolated, manipulated, and analyzed thousands of human genes, including many implicated in diseases and other conditions. Their work has been greatly accelerated by theHuman Genome Project, which began in the late 1980s and which in 2001 completed a first draft of the entire sequence of DNA in the human genome.

In the long run, human genetic knowledge will very likely lead to therapies and cures for many diseases. But some fear that the techniques of gene therapy, embryo selection, and the engineering of sperm could all become tools of a kind of human genetic manipulation that would be offensive to humane and egalitarian values. The manipulation could discriminate against socially costly or devalued groups and individuals.


The Bell Curve sparks controversy

These anxieties are rooted in thesocial tensions that beset contemporary society. They were heightened by the recent renewal of assertions -- notably in The Bell Curve,Charles Murray and the late Richard J. Herrnstein's widely discussed book of 1994 -- that racial groups differ from each other in their innate mental capacities. Murray and Herrnstein reported that the principal difference lies between whites on the one side, and Latinos and, especially, blacks on the other. Blacks on average score 15 points lower than whites on IQ tests.Herrnstein and Murray concluded that therefore blacks as a group are less intelligent than whites. They held that genes place blacks, along with whites of comparable test performance, disproportionately in poverty, in prison, on the welfare rolls, and in the statistics of illegitimate births. They insisted that the high maternity rate of low-income groups is fostering "dysgenics," the increase of inadequate genes in the population.

Such claims are not new. They formed part of the core of the eugenics movement that swept through the Anglo-American world and many other countries during the first third of the 20th century. In the United States, however, the biological distinctions that mainly obsessed eugenicists were not those between whites and blacks, but those then believed to divide whites -- differences between the old-stock white, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant majority and the numerous Catholic and Jewish immigrants from Eastern and Southern Europe.

Eugenicists, who were themselves predominantly of the old majority, considered scholastic intelligence -- the kind indicated in IQ tests -- a paramount measure of human merit, ignoring other abilities such as business acumen and artistic creativity that such tests did not capture. To them, IQ tests appeared to determine that the newer immigrants were innately endowed with low intelligence, while their high birth rates seemed to indicate that they were spreading inferior genes into the population at a rapid rate. In the interest of reducing the proportion of the "less fit" in society, eugenicists in the United States helped restrict immigration from Eastern and Southern Europe. They promoted the passage of eugenic sterilization laws that disproportionately threatened lower-income groups. The laws and programs they fostered supplied a model for the Nazis, who sterilized several hundred thousand people and, brandishing their research into the genetics of individual and racial differences, claimed scientific justifications for the Holocaust

Distinctions of "race" Discredited


The Nazi horrors discredited eugenics as a social program.Studies in social and biological science repudiated its stigmatizing theories of human difference, showing that what it took to be distinctions of race were actually those of ethnicity. In the United States, the social policies that reduced discrimination and expanded opportunity worked with the passage of time to produce their salubrious effects among the newer immigrants and their descendants, including socioeconomic improvement and, eventually, par performance on IQ tests. Between the 1930s and the 1980s, whites' scores on such tests rose some 14 points. Blacks' scores rose, too, though not as much. Still, along with the change in whites' scores, the increase indicates thattest results are not rigidly fixed by genes, but are also sensitive to changes in education, opportunity, and scholastic ambition.

Blacks have resided on the American continent for the better part of four centuries; nevertheless, it is mainly since World War II -- but even more so since the 1960s -- that they have passed on their migration to freedom from a United States that was legally segregated and in countless ways racially oppressive to the contemporary nation, where, although racism continues its poisonous work, new standards of law and tolerance better protect dignity and beckon ambition. In a sense, blacks as a community have only just embarked on the journey that many white immigrant groups took several generations to complete. It is not unreasonable to conceive that, as it was for those white minorities, so it will be -- given enough time and good will -- for nonwhite minorities, including the flood of recent newcomers to the United States.

The roots of human behaviors and capacities are complicated.Attempts to probe them for the role of genes may try to allow for contemporary environmental differences, but they tend to be blind to the cultural and psychological impact of past experience. They rely on measures that fail to capture attitudes, aspirations, expectations, and, above all, social hope. In short, they can be blind to the legacy of history.

ENGLAND WILL NOT RECOGNIZE SCOTLAND YES VOTE

A letter to England

Yesterday saw the publication of a letter, from English Scots for YES, to the peoples of England and the rest of the UK, explaining how we feel a YES vote is important for all our futures.


Dear England,

During the course of this referendum campaign, you have been told many distortions of the truth and fabrications about Scotland and why people in Scotland are voting Yes.

You have been told by the likes of Andrew Marr and Jeremy Paxman that there is a strong anti-English feeling in Scotland driving support for independence, or that people in Scotland are voting yes because they want to break away from English people. You have been told by the likes of Taxpayer’s Alliance and UKIP that Scotland is a ‘subsidy-junkie’ leaching off the English taxpayer to pay for universal public services. You have been told by the likes of the Daily Telegraph and Kelvin McKenzie that Scotland is a resourceless nation, an economic desert, which has little to offer this island or the world. And finally, you have been told by your own politicians – David Cameron, Nick Clegg and Ed Miliband – that independence will hurt you in England as much as it will hurt us in Scotland.

We write to you, as English people living and working in Scotland, to tell you that this is false. The movement for a yes vote has proven again and again what its real intentions are, and if the media in the UK will not listen we feel it is our duty to set the record straight.

First, as English people involved in the independence movement, we feel we are confident in saying that sentiment against English people has been virtually non-existent in our movement. What people in Scotland want to escape is the Westminster regime, not the English people. The yes movement is about a multi-cultural Scotland, a Scotland based on diversity, and is vociferously opposed to the racist, anti-immigrant sentiment of the likes of UKIP. An independent Scotland would attempt to learn from people in England, welcome people from England, and extend our hand of friendship as equal nations.

Second, it is untrue that Scotland is a ‘subsidy-junkie’. Scotland pays more in taxation to the Treasury than it gets back in funding. We have universal public services in Scotland like free prescriptions and free tuition fees because Holyrood has been responsive enough to the wishes of the Scottish people. It would be entirely possible to have the same in England if your politicians got their priorities correct. We hope, as an independent country, Scotland can prove that world-class universal public services is affordable, and that people in England who believe the same can use our example when deciding who to vote for.

Third, Scotland and her people have great potential, just like England and her people do, and we want to be an independent nation so that we can make the most of that potential. We are currently held back, just like the North of England is held back, by a UK economy and political system which supports international finance against all other industry sectors. In the UK we have the greatest regional inequality in Europe. That is a problem for Scotland and for the rest of the UK. We want independence to start addressing that problem..

Lastly, the politicians of the UK’s main parties are simply wrong. Independence will be good for Scotland, and it will be good for England. Yes voters in Scotland have no bitterness or resentment towards people in England; in fact we believe the relationship north and south of the border will grow stronger, as we both treat one another as serious partners and friends economically, socially and politically.

ROTTEN RUC INFILTRATE BRITISH POLICE IN IRELAND AND ENGLAND

The disgraced RUC are running the British paramiltary force again in Occupied Ireland, with almost all of the corrupt politicians at Stormont compromised and woe betide any Irish Nationalist seeking justice of this industrial war machine. Yes it's business as usual,  with the shiny new ex-RUC Chief Constable George Hamilton in charge,

The chief constable of West Yorkshire Police has been suspended, pending an investigation by his former force in Occuped Ireland. Gilmore, who grew up in Belfast and spent most of his police career in the RUC in British Occupied Ireland, was suspended by the West Yorkshire police and crime commissioner Mark Burns-Williamson. Also former Assistant chief constable Duncan McCausland, in 2010, has been questioned over alleged corruption regarding police vehicle contracts.

A 37-year-old member of RUC/PSNI staff arrested on Tuesday, as part of a police corruption investigation was released yesterday evening, pending a report being sent to the Public Prosecution Service. The list goes on and rather than waste time,  the whole lot of these RUC/PSNI are rotten and corrupt, policing the Scum State of British Occupied Ireland. This is why the native populance throw stones, rubbish, petrol bombs at them when, they come into their housing estates.


In the meantime an official has been suspended from dutym. The RUC/PSNI said in a statement, \the suspects were arrested on suspicion of a range of offences, including bribery, misconduct in public office and procuring misconduct in public office.

One is a former high-ranking RUC/PSNI officer. Another a serving British paramilitary RUC/PSNI police officer and two other men also in custody in Antrim police station, while two men are being questioned in England.

As part of this continuing investigation into alleged corruption over RUC/PSNI vehicle contracts, a 71-year-old man was detained in Co Down yesterday on suspicion of bribery and procuring misconduct in public office. He remains in custody.

Huge amounts of British taxpayers monies, are being spent on the disgraced RUC/PSNI since 2002 re-hiring corrupt RUC officers, involved in collusion and Britain's ongoing dirty war against the Irish natives, with the old RUC  working as agency staff.The amount of British taxpayers money squandered is staggering, with a £106m bill for ex-RUC officers; the increase of these veterans's numbers going back into the PSNI, on a regular basis, from hundreds of personnel annually in 2002, to thousands annually, just a few years later, and by the start of 2012, 75% of agency workers in the British paramilitary police, coming solely from ex-RUC personnel, many of them also in secret, sectarian, loyalist organizations.


The British brought back these retired policemen, after searching in every luxury holiday home complex, beach and golf courses along places like the Rivera and sex resorts like Pattaya, to persuade these beer bellied ex-pats, to come back home, to earn plenty of dosh, supporting the inexperienced, frail paramilitary PSNI. With so many aged ex-RUC officers back on the payroll, it suggests major problems within the paramilitary PSNI and no expertise. Many of the more experienced paramilitary British police, have gone further afield, to earn massive amounts of money, as mercenaries in the private wars of Central African business.

Several senior former RUC senior officers, are working in police forces of many tinpot dictatorships, as well as Iraq and Afghanistan. Of course it is too late for Sinn Fein to complain now, about the re-hiring of so many old RUC staff. They foolishly signed up to an arrangement at St Andrews in 2006, which handed full control, to the unsupervised British Secret Service of MI5, who have just appointed ex-RUC officer, George Hamilton as Chief Constable, from the ranks of the disgraced RUC,
The leading role of the British Secret Service MI5, a law unto themselves in all policing operations in British Occupied Ireland, is motivated by huge overspend, particularly with cozy arrangements of old wine in new bottles, that have come back into the paramilitary PSNI, now under the supreme command of one of their own, RUC Chief Constable George Hamilton. Neither the elected Executive and the Department of Justice, have any operational control over any policing in British Occupied Ireland, which is farcical in supposed Peace process context

There are of course major concerns about, ex-RUC officers, who have past form in running sectarian killer agents, who murdered Human Rights lawyers and whole innocent families at random, which has been thoroughly documented within both republican and loyalist organisations. None of these numerous killers within the RUC have been brought to justice.

The RUC handling of informants, directly involved in hate crimes, including murder, particularly by UVF/RUC double agents, is one of the biggest scandals of the troubles. There surely will be new scandals in the very near future, involving loyalist sectarian activists and pseudo-republicans committing murder crimes, while all the time working for RUC again, along with British Secret Service MI5 state assets, in British Occupied Ireland. The RUC are running the force again with almost all politicians compromised and woe betide any Irish Nationalist seeking justice of the machine. Yes it's business as usual with the shiny new RUC Chief Constable George Hamilton.


The huge sums of British taxpayers money involved in RUC/PSNI corruption and bribery, in the procurement of jeeps and war equipment, is just a small part of the overall massive sums of monies, wasted on colluding corrupt politicians at Stormont and Westmnister, political prisoners, careerist informers, secret sevice agencies and corrupt judicial bribery. The British paramilitary police are scum, just like the politicians and the whole British industrial war comples in Ireland which is simply a money making racket at the ordinary British taxpayers expense.

Today marks two years since WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was forced to take refuge in Ecuador’s London embassy, having been made the target of a filthy campaign by the Obama administration to have him extradited to the US to face espionage and treason charges punishable by life in prison or even death.

Assange’s sole “crime” was to publish secret documents exposing war crimes carried out by the US government in Iraq and Afghanistan and conspiracies hatched by the US State Department in countries around the world.

In a telephone press conference on the eve of the grim anniversary, Assange demanded that US Attorney General Eric Holder drop an ongoing national security investigation against WikiLeaks or resign. He also spoke on the legacy of President Barack Obama, noting that the “former constitutional law professor” will be remembered for “the construction of extrajudicial kill lists of individuals, including of American citizens,” and “being the president who conducted more Espionage Act investigations against journalists and their sources than all previous presidents combined going back to 1917 and the original issuance of the Espionage Act.”

Since June 19, 2012, Assange has been forced to hole up in the Ecuadorian embassy to stay out of the clutches of British authorities. The UK government denied him safe conduct to Ecuador, which granted him asylum on the grounds that he faces the threat of torture and death if sent to the US.

London is seeking to have Assange arrested and extradited to Sweden on the basis of trumped-up sexual misconduct allegations, a transparent subterfuge to effect his delivery into the hands of the US government.

Ever since Assange entered the embassy building it has been the target of a round-the-clock siege by the British police at a cost of over $10 million. At one point, the British government announced that it did not respect the international principle of diplomatic asylum and threatened to have the embassy stormed.

The British parliament amended the country’s extradition laws in March of this year, barring the extradition of individuals unless they have been charged with a crime and are slated to go to trial. There have been no such charges leveled against Assange, and Swedish authorities found in 2010 that the allegations made against him by two Swedish women—one of them active with CIA-connected anti-Castro Cuban groups—were insufficient to bring a case.

Nonetheless, the British government is proceeding on the basis of the old law—riding roughshod over Assange’s right to asylum—because it is intent on doing Washington’s bidding.

The Obama administration has kept open a grand jury empaneled in 2010 to bring secret charges against Assange. Last month, in response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, the FBI and the Justice Department confirmed that they are continuing an active “criminal/national security” investigation against both Assange and WikiLeaks, adding that there had been “developments in the investigation over the last year.”

This revelation was offered to block a demand that the US government provide the names of all those it had spied upon in connection with WikiLeaks—the National Security Agency (NSA) reportedly recorded information on everyone who merely accessed the group’s web site—and a record of communications with Internet service providers and financial companies that were pressured to cut off WikiLeaks’ funding and Internet access.

The FBI statement gave the lie to claims floated in the press last November that the US government had no interest in Assange and that his seeking refuge in the Ecuadorian embassy was a matter of “paranoia” or “self-aggrandizement”—a patent attempt to lure him into the hands of American authorities.

The witch-hunt against Assange is part of a broader campaign mounted by the US government to silence all those who challenge and expose its crimes both at home and abroad. Private First Class Chelsea (Bradley) Manning is now serving a 35-year sentence at the military prison at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas for leaking hundreds of thousands of classified documents to WikiLeaks.

Edward Snowden, the former NSA contractor who released documents exposing the vast secret and illegal spying apparatus through which the NSA collects, stores and examines the emails, phone calls, texts and other communications of millions of people within the US and around the world, has been reduced to the status of a stateless person, forced to live in exile in Russia. It was revealed earlier this week that when Snowden first arrived in Moscow, Washington sent one of its “extraordinary rendition” aircraft to Europe with the aim of seizing him.

Washington’s determination to silence and punish Assange only intensified after WikiLeaks aided Snowden in escaping arrest by US authorities and reaching Moscow.

Others have also been jailed, including ex-CIA officer John Kiriakou, who was prosecuted for publicly exposing the agency’s use of torture.

It is striking that, under conditions where the criminal policies US imperialism has pursued over the past period are blowing up in Washington’s face in the debacle in Iraq, so many of those who have attempted to expose these policies of aggressive war, torture and police-state spying are now either in prison, enforced exile, or locked in an embassy surrounded by police.

In the meantime, those responsible for war crimes in Iraq and crimes against the American Constitution continue to enjoy full immunity. None of them have been called to account or punished. As for the various outlets of the corporate media that turned themselves into propaganda tools for US imperialism in the Iraq war, they are now covering up for their complicity in that crime and helping to pave the way for even more terrible ones in Iraq and elsewhere.

The methods of the Obama administration denounced by Assange Wednesday have been developed to defend the interests of the financial oligarchy that controls the US government. Under conditions of a global breakdown of capitalism and an ever widening gulf between itself and the broad masses of working people, this oligarchy cannot tolerate the exposure of state crimes and secrets. It moves inexorably toward dictatorial forms of rule.

The only real constituency for the defense of democratic rights is to be found in the working class. What is required is the independent mobilization of workers, students and youth to defend Assange, Manning, Snowden and others who are victims of state conspiracy and repression. This campaign is inseparable from a struggle against the capitalist system, which is giving rise to both war and police state dictatorship as it seeks to impose the full burden of its crisis on the backs of working people.

INVADE ENGLAND

The REAL danger to the USA lies to the East in Jolly Old England. Their old oppressors and so-called allies pull the strings.That’s right–England (if that’s what it really is).  Is it England?  Or Britain?  Or GREAT Britain?  What the hell is the United Kingdom?  The Commonwealth of Nations?  They have a staggering number of names for such a small  place.  What’s in the United Kingdom?   England and British occupied Ireland, I guess.  What about Scotland?  I think so, although I’ve seen Braveheart a bunch of times, and I’d cut those violent, skirt-wearing, bagpipe-playing loonies a wide path.  Wales?  I guess so.  My ancestors came from Wales, and I’ve never heard anything about it being a country.  Then again, I don’t pay much attention to current events.  Maybe it is a country. How the hell should I know?  I know British Occupied Ireland is part of it because they blow up a lot of stuff.  What about Canada?  I have no idea, but it seems like they are part of the same Axis of Evil.  I’m pretty sure Australia isn’t part it, because that’s where England dumped all their convicts, at least the ones that didn’t end up in America.

Their government is sketchy, to say the least.  Have you ever watch Parliament on CSPAN?  It consists of people standing up and flipping through notebooks while exchanging insults.  I’m torn between thinking it is the ultimate democracy or a Monty Python skit. So, I suppose England is part of the UK which is a collection of countries.  Sounds like Communism to me.  That alone should make them our enemy.  But there are other equally compelling reasons to take Draconian measures against this “nation.”

What do the American Revolutionary War, The War of 1812, World War I and World War II have in common?  The British forced us into all of them.  Okay, I’m not sure about the War of 1812, but I think that’s right.  On the other three, I’m dead certain.

In both World Wars, we were forced to save their asses from the Germans.  If it weren’t for us, they’d be goose-stepping in front of Buckingham Palace right now.  Arguably, the Japanese forced us into WWII, but why do you think we were in Europe?  To save France?  Don’t make me laugh.  England.  Plain and simple.

Do you see a pattern here? Hopefully, they’ll skip the Nazi thing this time, but it’s clear that the Germans will try to take over the world again.  Then, we’re right back in another war.  How is this England’s fault, you ask? It is obvious that they are particularly offensive to Germans and an inviting target as well.  But, imagine if they were part of the old US of A?  We are the most powerful warriors the planet has ever seen!  The Germans will stay right where they are, except maybe for overrunning France.  Again, who cares?

England has to have nuclear weapons, doesn’t it?  Indian and Pakistan do, so England has to.  I’ll just assume that’s correct.  Imagine if those weapons fell into the hands of the Scots with their fiery temperaments and willingness do battle.  How about British occupied Ireland?  Violent drunks–good lord.  Is there any other country full of such unstable sorts that we would allow to have WMD (other than us, of course)?  We take over and seize all the weapons.  The world will be safer for it.  I expect at least one Nobel Peace Prize for this idea alone.

The pure silliness of the Brits is enough to justify military action.  Their penchant for monocles, top hats and tailcoats.  Their odd money–pounds, pence, quids and guineas.  But, it’s their language which reduces them to little more than a sideshow.  Consider that they say–and understand–the following:

• I attend University.
• I am going on holiday.
• I am queued up.
• I say, old man, where is the wash closet?
• I’ve stored that in my boot.
• My lorry needs petrol.
• I’m cheesed off at your cockup!
• He’s a beastly bugger–a bit of an arse.
• I enjoy a fag with my tea.
• She’s such a jammy bird, why is she with that josser?
• Don’t give me any of your cheek, you git!

                    INVADE  ENGLAND

You may think conquering England, Britain, Great Britain, The United Kingdom and The Commonwealth of Nations is a daunting task.  I think not.  I’m sure our military leaders have already planned out a takeover “just in case.”  If not, I have devised a simple strategy to crush them.  Here is my plan:

1. We establish a beach head in Southern Ireland with the cooperation of our Irish friends whom we will ply with strong drink.
2. We will proceed on land across Ireland.  Those who are not dead drunk after that march will stage an attack on Northern Ireland.
3. We will roll through British Occupied Ireland chanting anti-British slogans lulling them into inaction. British Occupied Ireland will then serve as our base of operations.
4. Simultaneously, we will invade Wales.  I can’t imagine they have a military.
5. Once the Scots get wind of our invasion, they will rise up again, paint their faces blue and attack England from the north.  Just to be safe, once the war is over, we’ll build a huge peat wall to keep them at bay.
6. Once hemmed in, the Brits will surrender realizing that no Americans are available to save them.
7. Scotland and England will be combined into one land–Fabulous America.
8. British Occupied Ireland will become a penal colony for political dissidents.
9. As my ancestral homeland, I will grant Wales its independence but only as a puppet state.  One condition–Tom Jones has to be named President.
10. Crest White Strips will be distributed throughout the country by air drop, thus winning the hearts of the people.

Bye, bye “Great” Britain.  Hello, Fabulous America!  With their overlords crushed, those hockey-playing Canadian goons will be vanquished to the scrap heap of history.  What then? I suppose every group of savages has its redeeming qualities.  The same is true of the British.  Their humor is excellent.  Monty Python, Marty Feldman, Harry Enfield and Benny Hill are just a few of their entertaining sorts.  Certainly, their music has been fine with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bon Scott and Led Zeppelin.  We’ll preserve some of that.

Beyond those few attributes, the rest of their culture will be wiped out.  No more bangers and mash.  Beer will be served cold–not luke warm.  French fries are French fries–not chips.  They’ll eat cookies, not biscuits.  Iced tea will be iced.  Football is football, not soccer.  Quit boiling all your food.  Drive on the correct side of the road.  Our cops aren’t called bobbies, and they carry guns.  Everyone else does, too, so get armed, and Bob’s your uncle!

In this new world, the USA is supreme, if it isn’t already.  France will reflexively surrender (old habits die hard, you know).  Canada will fall without even a whimper.  And that, old chap, will be jolly good. Now, bugger off.
