#MH370 MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT CALLS IN ‘Witch-Doctors’
Ibrahim Mat Zin, commonly known as Raja Bomoh Sedunia Nujum VIP has performed spiritual rituals at Kuala Lumpur International Airport for the Malaysian Government. The witch-doctor, or bomoh was invited by Malaysia’s top leaders to use bamboos as binocular, while looking into a fish trap hook to “locate” the missing #MH370 aeroplane. He told his audience that the plane was lost on a land inhabited by elves. Accompanied by other shamanist who sat on a mat and pretended to symbolically dive into the sea, while another shamanist, waved two coconuts up and down to “break the barrier in the land of elves” and set the aircraft free.Practitioners of shamanism can reach a trance state of consciousness, through a series of rituals along with poteen, that gives them access to the world of spirits, enabling them to channel transcendental energy into divination and healing practices. The doctors, or bomohs, are active with animistic practices. The bomohs have generated fierce criticism from many netizens on the way the Malaysian Government has handled the crisis, while allowing mysticism to get involved. They say a void left by the lack of clear official explanations has been filled by charlatans, who amplify confusion, disinformation and downright lies. The Malaysian government responded by saying the shaman’s stunt is appreciated and is a native cultural Malaysian form of western spin doctors at the black op house.

Hello Brian, im malaysian and currently study in ireland. Thanks a million for your concern on my country's issue. But just to let u know, this mystical ritual is not the true practise of islam. Islam teach muslim to perform prayer and to ask help from God directly without doing any ritual. So it is obvious that this shaman's action was wrong. I believe that no one invite him there and he only seek for attention. Yes, Malaysian goverment appreciates citizen effort to help the authorities but as long as it does not contradict to teaching of islam. This mystical ritual existed since before islam came to Malaysia and this practise are gradually vanished from our culture. But only some people who still believe this ritual including the shaman. I hope my opinion help to clear your thought on islam. Thank again.
