DEE FENNELL ON BOBBY SANDS & NELSON MANDELA

Whose Side Are You On?

March 05, 2015

Dee Fennell is a republican and community Activist from Ardoyne, and Chairperson of the Anti Internment League. He has been interned this week for exercising his right to Free Speech in British Occupied Ireland. Below is a piece he wrote a month ago on the Anniversary of Bobby Sands, who died on Hunger Strike.

Since yesterday was the 34th anniversary of Bobby Sands embarking on Hunger Strike, I have been reflecting on the sacrifice that he and others made. Not just those who gave their lives on hunger strike, but others like Seán Bateson who also died in jail at a very young age. Others like Paddy Kelly died as a direct result of prison administration neglect, deliberately exacerbating their illness.

But also the sacrifices that all Prisoners endure. The final months with a parent, the new births, the family occasions. The victories of their GAA club, or other sports clubs. The loss of youth. The opportunity to start a family, or their contact with their children being restricted to letters and visits.

I lifted Feargal Mac Ionnrachtaigh's book Language, Resistance and Revival and came across the following quote from Mandela:

The challenge for every prisoner, particularly every political prisoner, is how to survive prison intact, how to emerge from a prison undiminished, how to conserve and even replenish one's beliefs.
Jail struggle is not a legacy issue. Jail struggle goes on today. If you want examples of people emerging from jail undiminished then think of Alex McCrory. Of Neil Hegarty. Of Scotchy Kearney. Of Ta Mc Williams. All of whom are currently in jail, having served previous terms of imprisonment.

Mandela's quote, from 1994, finishes by saying:

prison is designed to break one's spirit and destroy one's resolve. To do this the authorities attempt to exploit every weakness, demolish every initiative, negate all signs of individuality. When others who have emerged from jail describe men like those I have mentioned as "criminals", ask yourself - have they emerged undiminished? Were their beliefs replenished or reconditioned? Ask yourself are they siding with political prisoners, or are they siding with the "authorities."

Then ask yourself, whose side are you on?

PAEDOPHILES RULE UK & OCCUPIED IRELAND OK?

The crime of child rape, is possibly one of the most abhorrent on earth, according to the Christian Bible, which suggests, that it is better to tie a stone around the neck of the culprit and throw them into the sea, than commit such a crime. I personally am not a practicing Christian, so I can't  judge, but commonsense guides me on matters such as this. The practice of sex with children is as ancient as history records and has existed to a greater or lesser extent in all societies. Since Britannia ruled the waves, they have exploited this fact and are still exploiting it. The Roman Empire fell into decadence and collapsed with such crimes and the practice was disseminated by the Borgias of Roman Church. The Royalty and Princes of Europe practiced it.

However, the British Empire took it to a new level. If you realize the acquaintance of any English public or private schoolboy, after they have finished their education, in a frank moment, they will confirm this. British Intelliigence services, took this practice to a new level of bullying and blackmail, to subdue and control society, both at home and abroad. It is the perfect tool, to guarantee silence, almost, always  and secrecy. It is practiced to this day and most definitely in Occupied Ireland.

The politcal system of the UK, is built on secrecy, and Ireland it's first colony of more than 800 years now, has much experience of this. It is the prefect tool to infiltrate other countries, recruit informers and spies. It guarantees by bullying and blackmail loyalty and has defeated many an Empire. This is how Britannia ruled the waves. This is how they won the war in Ireland, and left behind, their British bureaucracy intact, within their Commonwealth, to do their bidding worldwide.

Like the Kitsonian manual for Dirty War, researched in ireland and elsewhere, they passed their dark arts on to the new Empire of the US, while working hand in hand together. The British have just sent in another company of the SAS, into Occupied Ireland, to intensify their current Dirty War in Ireland, which will probably be excused, with another false flag, despite a so called pseudo, peace process. Britain continues to interfers in all aspects of political life on the island of Ireland, with this insidious weapon. Unless people make these facts public and share this information, which is largely censored on social media, it will continue. These are the essential facts, don't take my word for it, go away and research it  yourself, from alternative sources and then please share.

In Great Britain, Powerful Pedophiles are Seemingly Everywhere and Totally Above the Law

Screen Shot 2014-11-22 at 1.14.33 PMA newspaper editor was handed startling evidence that Britain’s top law enforcement official knew there was a VIP pedophile network in Westminster, at the heart of the British government. What happened next in the summer of 1984 helps to explain how shocking allegations of rape and murder against some of the country’s most powerful men went unchecked for decades.
Less than 24 hours after starting to inquire about the dossier presented to him by a senior Labour Party politician, the editor was confronted in his office by a furious member of parliament who threatened him and demanded the documents. “He was frothing at the mouth and really shouting and spitting in my face,” Don Hale told The Daily Beast. “He was straight at me like a raging lion; he was ready to knock me through the wall.”
Despite the MP’s explosive intervention, Hale refused to hand over the papers which appeared to show that Leon Brittan, Margaret Thatcher’s Home Secretary, was fully aware of a pedophile network that included top politicians.
The editor’s resistance was futile; the following morning, police officers from the counter-terror and intelligence unit known as Special Branch burst into the newspaper office, seized the material and threatened to have Hale arrested if he ever reported what had been found.
Sexually molesting extremely small children is one of the most heinous acts a person can commit while existing as a human being on this planet. Since 99% of humanity agrees with this assessment, the incredibly small group of predators who get off on this sort of behavior understand they need to occupy the most elite levels of esteemed institutions in order to safely get away with their vile behavior. This is precisely why so many of the worst pedophiles tends to be very powerful businessmen, politicians and higher ups in organized religion.
This is a topic I’ve explored previously. For example, in the post, In Great Britain, Protecting Pedophile Politicians is a Matter of “National Security”, I wrote:
Those with the sickest minds, and who wish to act upon their destructive fantasies, understand that they can most easily get away with their deeds if they are protected by an aura of power and ostensible respectability. They believe that as a result of their status, no one would dare accuse them of horrific activities, and if it ever came to that, they could quash any investigation
Of the developed nations, this sort of thing has essentially become institutionalized in Great Britain, with many of the most horrid pedophiles sporting a “Sir” in front of their names. Like oligarch theft and political corruption, the reason it appears to be such an epidemic over there is precisely because the powerful are coddled and protected.
The Daily Beast just published an extraordinary article highlighting this issue. Here are some excerpts:
LONDON — A newspaper editor was handed startling evidence that Britain’s top law enforcement official knew there was a VIP pedophile network in Westminster, at the heart of the British government.
More than 30 years later, an inquiry into allegations of child sex abuse rings, murder, and cover-ups has been launched by the British government after Scotland Yard detectives said they believed statements by victims who claimed they were systematically abused as young boys at sex abuse parties attended by judges, politicians, intelligence officers, and staff at the royal palaces.
Baroness Castle, then Barbara Castle, a Labour member of the European parliament, told Hale she did not trust Brittan to investigate the allegations thoroughly. “Barbara never said he was a pedophile, she was just very, very hostile about him. ‘He’s the last person you want this to go to,’ she said, which inferred that he was somehow involved,” Hale explained.
Worried about the integrity of the Home Office investigation, Castle had tried to interest the major newspapers in the classified documents but she turned to Hale when they rejected her overtures. “She was saying, ‘I’ve been everywhere else, I’ve been to the nationals, nobody would touch it with a barge pole, but what do you think?’” Hale recalled. “As a journalist of course I was interested.”
Great Britain’s notoriously tough libel laws insured that obviously he couldn’t repeat the allegations included in the Home Office papers that about 16 MPs and members of the House of Lords, and 30 high-profile figures from the Church of England, private schools, and big business, were members of, and advocates for, the Paedophile Information Exchange. The shadowy group, which operated partly in the open, campaigned for the age of consent to be abolished and incest to be legalized. It also allowed pedophiles to send each other secure mail and to meet in person.
Three vehicles pulled up to the newspaper offices and about 15 men barged inside. Two pushed him up against a wall and brandished a search warrant and something they described as a “D-notice.” The D-notice system was established in 1912 and was supposed to be used on very rare occasions when national security could be threatened by a news story.
Yep, as mentioned earlier, protecting powerful pedophiles really is considered a matter of national security in the UK.
The rest of the men were searching for the files, which they described as stolen, confidential Home Office papers. “These bully boys come storming in, they said, ‘We’re not here to negotiate. Hand them over or we’ll arrest you now.’ I couldn’t argue, because as soon as you opened the files it had got ‘Not to be removed’, ‘Confidential’ and ‘For your eyes only’—all these sort of things on them. I wouldn’t have had a hope in hell legally. I would have ended up in prison and the story would have gone nowhere,” he said.
Among the retired police officers Danczuk interviewed, one recalled the time Special Branch officers forbade them from asking a victim about Smith. Others remembered the day Smith was allowed to walk out of a police station without charge despite indecent images being found in his car after an unexplained telephone call from London.
It wasn’t just Special Branch that seemed keen to keep MPs out of the clutches of the law. In a candid interview for the BBC in 1995, Tim Fortescue, a former Conservative Party chief whip, described the grubby calculations routinely applied within elite political circles:
“Anyone with any sense who was in trouble would come to the whips and tell them the truth, and say now, ‘I’m in a jam, can you help?’ It might be debt, it might be a scandal involving small boys, or any kind of scandal which a member seemed likely to be mixed up in, they’d come and ask if we could help. And if we could, we did. We would do everything we can because we would store up brownie points. That sounds a pretty nasty reason but one of the reasons is, if we can get a chap out of trouble, he’ll do as we ask forever more.”
There is growing evidence that MI5 and MI6, Britain’s security services, took a similar view. MI5 is alleged to have repeatedly blocked investigations into a sex abuse ring at the Kincora children’s home in Northern Ireland in order to protect its intelligence-gathering operation.
The longtime deputy director of MI6, and former High Commissioner in Canada, Peter Hayman was himself allegedly a pedophile, and was ultimately named as such in parliament by Geoffrey Dickens. Hayman had been caught with explicit material in 1978 but no charge was brought. Secret files discovered at the National Archives this year revealed that the attorney general at the time believed it wasn’t in the public interest for Hayman to be prosecuted. Prime Minister Thatcher ordered his depravity to be concealed from the public.
Carl was abused by a pedophile ring from the age of 7, and the emotional and physical torture went on for nine years. Some of his attackers, he says, were men with influence and authority.“The authority is not what stops people from speaking out, it’s the fear that is instilled by these people,” he said. “It appears the cover-ups did happen and it makes survivors very wary because you don’t know who you can have confidence in to report.”
In 1990, she raised concerns at a local council meeting that a large number of boys in the area were showing signs of abuse. She claimed that Margaret Hodge, then leader of Islington council and later the Minister for Children under Tony Blair, ignored her warnings. It was 2014 before Hodge would apologize for her “shameful naivety” in failing to properly investigate the claims of abuse. She is now chair of the Public Accounts Committee, which is responsible for oversight of all government spending.
If a society is incapable of protecting its weakest and most vulnerable members from sexual assault by powerful adults, it’s hard to call that society civilized. Just horrible.

MH370 & BRITAIN'S SECRET TERRORIST FORCES

BBC 'Confidential Information' Accessed relating to British Secret Army Dirty War Units in Occupied Ireland and Colonies

Highly sensitive and confidential information relating to the secret British Army unit, the Military Reaction Force, which is alleged to have shot unarmed civilians in Northern Ireland has been "lost" by the BBC's investigative team on the Panorama programme.

The material, which includes information on former soldiers from the controversial Military Reaction Force, leaked out following a lapse in securityIt is understood that at least one former serviceman from the elite unit has had his identity compromised.
The notoriously secretive MRF included men from the Special Air Service, the Special Boat Service, the Royal Marines and the Parachute Regiment.
Names and details of other senior military figures – in addition to those who served with the MRF – were also contained in the compromised file.
The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) is investigating the major loss of data by the Panorama team after an inexperienced researcher allegedly downloaded a cache of material from an online dropbox service on to a USB stick and handed it to a third party.
It is understood that the matter is being treated as a potential criminal offence under Section 55 of the Data Protection Act.

Patrick McVeigh one of the people killed by the Military Reaction Force (MRF) in the early seventies according to BBC Panorama investigation.
Patrick McVeigh one of the people killed by the Military Reaction Force (MRF) in the early seventies according to BBC Panorama investigation.
Initially, the data was believed to relate only to Panorama’s investigation into alleged questionable practices at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The researcher leaked the file to the office of the mayor of Tower Hamlets, Lutfur Rahman, because she did not believe the documentary, broadcast in April, was balanced.
The material included details of people who had contributed to the documentary anonymously. But The Independent has learnt that the file also contained confidential information relating to “Britain’s Secret Terror Force”, a highly sensitive previous Panorama programme, which was shown last November.
The experienced Panorama presenter John Ware hosted both documentaries, although he is understood not to be responsible for the breach in security.
During the Northern Ireland programme, made by the television production company twenty2vision, seven unidentified members of the plain-clothes Military Reaction Force discussed their covert activities.
They all denied they had been part of a death or assassination squad but one soldier admitted: “If you had a player who was a well-known shooter who carried out quite a lot of assassinations it would have been very simple – he had to be taken out.”
Another said: “We were not there to act like an army unit. We were there to act like a terror group. We had our own rules, but I don’t recall being involved in the shooting of an innocent person.”
Two fatal shootings were linked to the MRF; Patrick McVeigh, a father of six who was shot in Belfast in 1972 and 18-year-old Daniel Rooney, who was killed in West Belfast in 1973.
The Ministry of Defence said it had referred Panorama’s findings to the police.
Last night military figures expressed astonishment that the BBC could have put the anonymity of servicemen who served with elite undercover units at risk. The mistreatment of confidential sources was “absolutely disgraceful”, said Hugh McManners, a military author and commentator.
“Protection of sources is paramount and the BBC and its researcher have behaved utterly disgracefully. I cannot believe that anyone could be so lax. If the media is going to misbehave like that, the Ministry of Defence would be justified in refusing all media requests, which isn’t in anybody’s interests.”
In the making of the Tower Hamlets documentary, it is understood that BBC application forms for covert filming used in the Northern Ireland film were duplicated to use as a basis for applications to film undercover in east London. But due to an error, confidential details used in the Ulster films were not deleted, putting the identities of at least one ex-MRF contributor at risk.
The breach of security occurred at Films of Record, which made the Tower Hamlets investigation “The Mayor and Our Money”, and not at twenty2vision. The researcher, who only worked at Panorama for five days, has told The Independent she acted “because of my conscience”. She said: “My basic point was that this is damaging to the Bengali community.”
It is understood that the Tower Hamlets copy of the file has now been destroyed.
A spokesperson for the ICO said it had to be “particularly cautious” when discussing an investigation which may lead to a criminal prosecution.
“We have been made aware of a possible data breach at Films of Record. We will be making inquiries into the circumstances of the alleged breach of the Data Protection Act before deciding what action, if any, needs to be taken.”
A BBC spokesperson said: “There has been a lot of baseless speculation on the circumstances surrounding this programme. It’s not appropriate for us to comment further while there is an investigation by the ICO under way.”

Licensed to kill: Military Reaction Force

The Military Reaction Force (MRF) was a covert British Army unit operating in Northern Ireland during the early 1970s at the start of the Troubles.
The undercover unit, which is thought to have comprised 40 men, is said to have been given licence to operate a shoot to kill policy and ignore the Yellow Card rules which spelt out the circumstances under which soldiers were permitted to open fire.
The MRF included men from the Special Air Service (SAS), the Special Boat Service (SBS), the Royal Marines and the Parachute Regiment.
It has been linked to the shootings of several unarmed civilians, including Patrick McVeigh, a father of six children, who was hit by sub-machine-gun fire while manning a nationalist barricade in west Belfast in 1972. The MRF was disbanded in 1973.

U.K. file on Entebbe contains claim that Israel behind hijacking

Newly released British documents contain a claim by an unnamed contact that the Shin Bet security service collaborated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine to hijack the June 1976 flight from Israel that was diverted to Entebbe, Uganda, the BBC reported Friday.
Israel's rescue of the dozens of hostages taken in the hijacking of the Air France plane, popularly known as the Entebbe raid, is considered one of the most daring and successful operations in Israeli history. Elite Israel Defense Forces troops stormed the airport where the hostages, many of them Israeli, were held and overpowered the hijackers and Ugandan soldiers.
Although the captors used the hijacking to demand the release of Palestinians or Palestinian supporters, a British government file on the incident quotes the unnamed source as telling a British diplomat in Paris that Israel was behind the hijacking. The claim is not known to be backed up by corroborating evidence, and the file does not make it clear whether the British government took the claim seriously.
"The operation was designed to torpedo the PLO's standing in France and to prevent what they see as a growing rapprochement between the PLO and the Americans," the BBC report said British diplomat D.H. Colvin wrote in the document, citing his source.
"My contact said the PFLP had attracted all sorts of wild elements, some of whom had been planted by the Israelis," Colvin reportedly wrote. "According to his information, the hijack was the work of the PFLP, with help from the Israeli Secret Service, the Shin Beit."
The document was written on June 30, 1976, three days after the hijacking and prior to the rescue operation.
MH370
Search authorities for the missing MH370 remained questionable and dubious in the eyes of GeoResonance as authorities still refused to explore the wreckage of an unidentified aircraft in Bay of Bengal.
REUTERS/Malaysian Transport Mi
A map shows the possible path of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 as released to Reuters by the Malaysian Transport Ministry May 1, 2014. REUTERS/Malaysian Transport Ministry/Handout via Reuters
GeoResonance remains adamant that it has located a wreckage of an unidentified aircraft 190 km South of the Bangladesh coastline in 1,000 to 1,100  metres of water.
"We have never claimed this to be MH370, however it is a lead that must be thoroughly followed through," the groupsaid.
"The staff at GeoResonance are not prone to conspiracy theories, we all deal with facts and science. It appears some of  the authorities involved in the search have not been completely transparent with all of the facts. The MH370 tragedy has created more world interest than any event since 9/11, under those circumstances 100% transparency is a must. There are many unanswered questions," the group held.
GeoResonance's statement was made after the announcement from the Australian Transport and Safety Bureau (ATSB) of the new search area of up to 60,000 square kilometres, located in the Southern Indian Ocean, along the seventh arc.
Unanswered questions
GeoResonance are aware that people are still asking why Australia's Jindalee Operational Radar Network (JORN) was not able to detect MH370.
"It is clear if MH370 did fly along or land on the assumed Inmarsat Southern arc flight path, then JORN would have seen it to the North/West and West of Australia," the group alleged.
The possibility that the JORN is watchingh for boat-riding asylum seekers exist. However, these boats head to or past North and West of Christmas Island.
"No matter which direction the Laverton radar was looking whether North or West, it should have seen a large commercial aircraft on the assumed Southern arc," GeoResonance pondered.
Families and friends of the passengers, including experts will continue to clank on Australian authorities to provide answer as to why JORN was not able to see MH370, the group said. Furthermore, there remains the question as to why some commercial cargo remained unidentified and why the Malaysian Government would withhold such crucial information.
"The  families also would like to know why Rolls Royce will not release the data on pings sent from MH370 at: 2:25am, 2:27am and 8:19am. The pings at 2:25am and 2:27am are out of the ordinary, as pings should normally be sent every hour only unless there is a problem with an engine. The data would normally include engine performance details as well as other aircraft data," GeoResonance highlighted.

  • The Bay of Bengal is full of shipwrecks so it is A. Fantastic technology that can image a 777 between all the rubble, B. Awesome that a 777 hull can remain intact all the way to the bottom after a crash. C. Being relitively close to shores light wreckage would not have sunk and turned up, D. Against all the information released and peer revied by scientists, aviation experts and oceanoligists (And countless more) a company wants to have an already huge bankroll to be dirverted to the Bay of Bengal. If they are so sure and such a big successful company put their own money to search.
Remember involved are the ATSB, CAA (S), AAIB, NTSB, Boeing, Intersat, Metsat, FBI, Interpol, Malaysia, MAL, ICAO (Specifically Annex 13), aviation specialists, scientists the list goes on therefore unlikely they searching in the wrong area. Without verifying sources it is difficult to confirm the details Simon has provided therefor what we have is:
An aeroplane that is lost in an area where it shouldn't have been navigated to.

I don't understand why they won't consider investiigating this area just to shed light witht his matter. If there's something down there why send a search party to see if this is really the wreckage of mh 370 but they want to focus more over at the southern indian ocean which makes me think are they really searching at the right area. With all the advance equipment we have this time still this agonizing search will not come to an end soon and with inconsistent details they tell the people one thing is for sure we can't trust their so called investigation. Right from the start they all messed up already or they just don't know how to handle this kind of situation.

If you want to quote loads of babble at least use you name. Its a forum about a Boeing 777 M9-MRO flight MH370 having an alternative theory as to its loss. Try reading Simon Gunson's exxplanation. Ben has an interesting comment. I have been an amateur aviation investigator for over 6 years and current study towards an aviation Bachelor with a paper in accident investigation, and still open to educated hypothesis.

Hi Simon – I’m only a lay person without any technical knowhow but have been following the mystery of the disappearance and what you say makes sense – I hope the people directing the search are taking note

There is more than one aspect not being investigated. For example some transponder signals from MH370 were picked up almost 3 hours after take off.
They show up as picked up by a receiving station at Hong Kong, but that is just caused by the fuzzy logic used by FANS 1/A type aircraft. The ADS-C software protocols for a FANS 1/A aircraft flying outside the appropriate airspace means that the ground receiving station picks up from the aircraft a signal indicating where it should be, not where it actually is (when in B2 ATN airspace). This is a seriously safety flaw in the system protocols.
It also means the transponder was not switched off by pilots but more likely knocked offline by a power failure/surge in the aircraft.
Rather than wasting another $90 million taxpayer dollars searching where the satellite boffins think it is shouldn't the Australian NTSB go back to square #1 and work out where those transponder signals really were detected?
Establishing those facts might only cost a few thousand dollars, but could easily save squandering millions. It would also serve to corroborate or disqualify the theories which led them to the last bunch of failed search areas. At some point Australian taxpayers will spit the dummy and say no to further searches.
Somewhere out there MH370 flew through a radar beam 3 hours after take off and MH370's transponder replied to a radar interrogation. I would think it was fairly basic to try and establish where that happened?

Simon--as an investigator, for 31 years, i have to say, that your statement is plausible, but get ready to hear a story you've never hear before.
