$10 Trillion War Reparations Due by Britain for Irish Holocaust

Ethnic cleansing in Ireland in one form or another is the basis of British rule in Occupied Ireland dating back to 1169. The racist British laws of 1367 were called the “Statute of Kilkenny” prohibiting marriage between the British and Irish under pain of death. The British regarded the Irish as subhuman, indeed some still do and while forced emigration today is their form of ethnically cleansing neo-colonial Ireland, in the 1840's there was systematic calculated British organized Holocaust that created a "disappearance" of 6,257,456 Irish persons which British mentored revisionist historians, airbrushed from history down to a million to a million and a half in one of the greatest examples of history being written by the victors, to hide British genocide and their holocaust in Ireland

Since British war crimes against the Irish are so numerous and their crimes against humanity so frequent, it would require a library to record all of it properly. This article is but a brief summary. When the Briish Oliver Cromwell came to Ireland, he celebrated his carnage of ethnic cleansing from the start, with statements like, “It has pleased God to bless our endeavors,” as he finished the mass slaughter in 1649 of 3,552 Irish inhabitants, after his arrival at the seaport town of Drogheda, arrogantly further declaring, “I am persuaded that this is a righteous judgment of God upon these barbarous wretches.” The Drogheda massacre was just the start of a British policy of ethnic cleansing in Ireland. Cromwellian settlements followed with millions of acres of land, as in 26 percent of Down, 34 percent of Armagh, 38 percent of Monaghan being just an example of lands, re-allocated to English settlers. The owners of Irish birth were murdered or forced to Connacht in the west of Ireland, with the battle cry of, "to hell or to Connacht." where “they would starve to death.” Cromwell's biographer  wrote, “by far the most wholesale effort to impose on Ireland the Protestant faith and English ascendancy.”

In just three years, one-third of the population of Ireland was destroyed with thousands of Irish boys and girls, sold into slavery in the West Indies. Irish peasants were forced to pay rent, with home grown industries destroyed, because they “competed with British factories.” The first holocausts under Elizabeth I and Cromwell are forever in the psyche of the Irish race, with Cromwell’s British thinking being, that Irish Catholics are “barbarous wretches” unfortunately, passing onto the British mindset. The British Parliament legitimized the crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing when it stated “The House doth approve the execution done at Drogheda, as an act both of justice to them and mercy to others who may be warned by it.”

When the forces of William of Orange won the Battle of the Boyne in 1690, it was followed by more confiscations of Irish land and the notorious “Penal Laws” of the late 1690s, with the stated intent, “The law does not presume any such person to exist as an Irish Roman Catholic.” Over time there were more failed, rebellions in Ireland. In 1845 the potato crop was blighted and a famine started which became the Irish genocide or holocaust in the manner of British management. Thomas Gallagher described this unspeakable British crime in  Paddy’s Lament in the following manner. “A famine unprecedented in the history of the world, a chapter in human misery to harrow the human heart, was about to start, and even little children could see its quick, sure approach in the nakedly fearful eyes and faces of their parents.”

While, “Food, from 30 to 50 shiploads per day, was removed at gunpoint from Ireland by 12,000 British constables, reinforced by 200,000 British soldiers, warships, excise vessels, and coast guards... Britain seized from Ireland’s producers tens of millions of head of livestock, tens of millions of tons of flour, grains, meat, poultry and dairy products-enough to sustain 18-million persons.” While 6,257,456 Irish persons starved to death and some others emigrated, the British occupied and aggravated the situation in Ireland for profit, to prevent famine from potato blight in England and most of all to systematically proceed to ethnically cleanse Ireland of native Gaelic Irish people.

A British journalist of the time, Thomas Carlyle, boasted,  "Ireland is like a half-starved rat that crosses the path of an elephant. What must the elephant do? Squelch it - by heavens - squelch it." "Total Annihilation;" screamed the Times leader of September 2, 1846 and its editor boasted in 1848  "A Celt will soon be as rare on the banks of the Shannon as the red man on the banks of Manhattan." On 23 March 1849 Villiers was awarded the order of the Garter by the queen of England for ethnically cleansing Ireland so effectively, departing from the usual practice, desired him not to surrender the insignia of the Bath, as he had so fully merited both distinctions.

Author Chris Fogarty placed the numbers “murdered at approximately just 5.16 million people, making it the Irish holocaust.” Distinguished legal scholars, like Professors Charles Rice of Notre Dame University and Francis Boyle, University of Illinois, believe that under International Law, the British pursued a barbarous policy of mass starvation in Ireland from 1845-50, and that such conduct constituted “genocide.”  Generally speaking among objective historians, the net population-loss figure of 6,257,456 is not susceptible to any significant challenge, because it derived directly from the British government's own censuses for Ireland at that time which was considerably understated to equate the numbers who otherwise emigrated.

Based on reparations agreed after World War II, according to the Potsdam conference and subsequent reparations made by Germany for the smaller Nazi Holocaust, relative to Britain's Holocaust in Ireland and a US$350 billion calculation in Iraq, a figure of 6 trillion pounds sterling ($10 trillion), is a conservative figure for British reparations with regard to their Holocaust in Ireland. Irish citizens are still waiting for their Neo-colonial governments to take up the cause of the Irish people a the UN fro Holocaust reparations.

Cannabis Medicine to be Legalized in Ireland

The Irish Department of Health says it hopes to bring legislative proposals this year or early next year to enable cannabis-based medicine to be prescribed in the Irish free state. They should hurry up and save al lot of people an awful lot of pain. Experts have advised that Sativex contains a cannabis extract which “is a valid treatment option”. It took them awhile didn't it, like a hundred years late maybe. "Sativex is used for the relief of symptoms of multiple sclerosis patients and other ailments. It is already available on prescription in British Occupied Ireland.

The Irish Department of Health says the Medicines Board have completed an assessment of the product and “based on quality, safety and efficacy, have recommended approval of the product for the Irish market”. However market authorization of the product is dependent on changes to the Misuse of Drugs Act which classes cannabis-based medicine products as “controlled substances”. Typical Irish red tape and feck to the poor people in pain and agony. The relevant Department is consulting with more so called experts on the best way to legally authorize cannabis-based medicine, while still maintaining controls on cannabis. Luke Ming Flanagan TD said he welcomed the news on “humanitarian grounds. This is a good decision by this government and they should now move quickly to get the necessary legislation in place.” Ming was regarded by many, as being off his head when he first campaigned for this but then its like that with most things progressive in ireland.

Government's worldwide, with their irrational prohibition against medical marijuana, for all practical purposes, liquid marijuana to treat pain and other symptoms caused by multiple sclerosis, has caused a considerable amounts of unnessecary pain for an awful lot of people for a very long time. Sativex, produced by GW Pharmaceuticals in Britain has brought the medical marijuana debate full circle. This product a direct descendent of the marijuana extract and tinctures, that formerly were standard medical practice worldwide until the late 1930s. They were recognized as being safe and effective. These medicines were taken away from patients in considerable pain and from doctors as a result of backward control freak prohibition to control marijuana which began in 1937, despite, the opposition of international Medical Associations.

The Irish government with their statement, have just clarified, virtually everything that has been said previously officially about marijuana as wrong. In defiance of  numerous scientific studies, governments still claim that marijuana has no medical value. The American Drug Chief John Walters once compared medical marijuana to "medicinal crack," for political control reasons. THis is scientifically ridiculous, as the American Public Health Association, American Nurses Association and medical societies of New York, California have stated to name but a few. Research has put this backward nonsense to rest. Sativex is liquid marijuana and a whole-plant extract, containing a variety of natural compounds called cannabinoids, unique to marijuana with trace elements of compounds, contained in the plant, which have therapeutic value, There are many advantages to using the whole plant that includes other components of cannabis not just THC. With the cannabis plant some of the components added together in different blends, give a better effect. Some components seem to work better than others for different people

Sativex is like marijuana in a cup of coffee as in coffee beans and has shown significant benefits against pain and symptoms caused by multiple sclerosis and other similar conditions. Hundreds of patient-years of research have confirmed a great record of safety. However even with Sativex approval it will not be the answer like medical marijuana can be. Different strains of marijuana with mixed blends of cannabinoids, work for some conditions, with proper blending. Sativex is just one formula that may not suit everyone. Sativex will be more expensive than this medicine should be. It is a pricey pharmaceutical version of something that should be free, at a time when the Irish healthcare system is complaining of rising costs. Such is the insanity of Ireland to all things progressive. It is like telling coffee drinkers, they can buy a cappuccino but will be arrested if caught in possession of coffee beans. The lessons of Sativex is simple: Successive Irish government were wrong and caused, considerable pain and distress for thousands upon thousands of Irish people, in some instances threatening people forced to emigrate for pain relief with prison on their return. Marijuana is medicine pure and simple and patients should, with proper medical advice be able to use whatever form is best for their particular condition.

SF stoop to even lower depths

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Sunday September 09, 2012 22:34author by Teresa Report this post to the editors
The condemnation by Cllr Mac Donncha of the friends and family of Mr Alan Ryan, buried on Saturday 8th September following his brutal murder on the streets of Dublin on Monday 3rd September shows how low this former "republican party" have gone.

I am no supporter of the so-called "Reals" but it is morally disgraceful that SF attacked a community in mourniing.

How low can they continue to go?
SF no longer fit to call themselves "republican".

I write with regard to the statement issued by Sinn Fein on Sunday 9th September 2012 in reference to the funeral of Irish Republican, Alan Ryan, shot on the streets of Dublin on Monday 3rd September. In a strongly worded and bitter statement Sinn Fein Councillor Michael Mac Donncha attacked the group to which Mr Ryan was associated. One does not have to agree with the politics of the "Real" IRA to see that a vitiolic condemnation is totally unwarranted. To come out and attack a group of people and by extension Mr Ryan's family a day after they buried their son and comrade is dispicable. It is a total disgrace that a so-called and self described "republican party" would climb onto the establishment band wagon and launch a vicious verbal assault on members of a community who are in grief.

In Sinn Fein's race to distance themselves so completely from "armed insurgents" and to place themselves firmly in the political middle ground Sinn Fein will stop at nothing. I am very saddened by Sinn Fein's stance on this. They had no need to say anything, the moral position would have been to remain silent and allow Mr Ryan's friends and family to mourn. This once very progressive party have stooped to a very low depth. Shame on them. shame on them.

"I am no supporter of the so-called "Reals" but it is morally disgraceful that SF attacked a community in mourniing. "

So what political organisation DO you belong to. FG? FF?

Because cynical political point scoring off the back of a dead man is even more despicable than the insensitivity you are blaming SF of here.

C'mon Teresa, tell us which scumbag political party you belong to.

Disgraceful statement from a disgraced party. PSF has hit an all time low. I dont know how anyone with any sense of self respect can stay in this gang of British Crown lackeys.

Remember the full title of the organisation to which Councillor Mícheál Mac Donncha belongs is - *Provisional* Sinn Féin.
Provisional is just another word for temporary.
And those who are part of the Gerry Adams' faction have made it clear, they no longer see themselves as militant Irish republicans.

Their ambition is to replace Fianna Fáil in every sense of the word, including making republicanism just an empty slogan to be used around election time.
Remember Martin McGuinness and his "West Brit" declaration, used to launch his presidential campaign.
It was a juvenile attempt to use the language of republicans to create the misleading impression that Provisional Sinn Féin was still part of the fight for Irish freedom.

The councillor complains at the end of his press release about those who "abuse the good name of Irish republicanism to further their own ends".
That's very much what Gerry Adams and his Armani Brigade are doing right now.

Freddy freddy freddy, so angry, unable to accept that the party which you hold allegiance to has stooped so low, attacking people in mourning in a pathetic attempt to garner favour from the parties you mentioned in your post, FF & FG.

It might be a shock to a politico like yourself but most people are not involved in political parties. I am a former member of SF but like very many Republican minded people I could not stomach being part of SF any more. I'm what you could call jaded by political parties. Let SF work away to get their places at the tables of power, so what, but attacking grief stricken people in their hour of need, it really is disgusting. I believe you recognise it as disgusting also, don't you Freddy?

I believe that SF's showing in recent polls has gone to their heads, they now consider that the ordinary Republican people are surplus to requirement, now that they are getting support from former Labour supporters etc. SF should be wary of such arrogance, their new found support (if it exists outside polls) comes from very fickle sources.

The only 'political rats' in Ireland are those in Leinster House and Stormont. Feeding off the population, getting fat on other peoples work.

"unable to accept that the party which you hold allegiance to has stooped so low"

I am not aligned to any political party. However I am highly suspicious of posts like the one you put up which are in even worse taste than the SF remarks if they are exploiting a mans death to score political points. This kind of cynical behaviour is not unknown here.

If your post is genuine, fair enough. I must admit, It doesn't look like it is to me though. Too much glee in putting the boot in.

No matter how bad this SF statement was, in the south SF are still better than FF/FG/Labour in my opinion
(but I know that's not saying much!!). Mary Lou and Pearce Doherty have been a great addition to the Dail, even though they are somewhat powerless due to the whip system and large FG/Lab majority.

Might be nice to see you post something criticising FG/Labour too Teresa. Or is it just SF you put the boot in? If so then it's hard to see you as anything other than a party hack on "get the boot in" duty for your masters. If so, then using a mans death for this is even worse than what SF did.

"Violent faction is rejected by community in Donaghmede" - Councillor Mícheál Mac Donncha

September 9, 2012

Commenting on the appearance of wall slogans and black flags in the area in connection with the funeral of a member of the so-called 'Real IRA', local Sinn Féin Councillor Mícheál Mac Donncha said:

“The murder of Alan Ryan was a shocking crime. All such murders and shootings are wrong and should stop. No grief should be visited on any other family and the community sympathises with all the bereaved.

“As a public representative I have to reflect the views of the local community and it has to be said that there is great resentment at attempts to portray the so-called 'Real IRA' as being supported by this community. Wall slogans and black flags cannot hide the fact that this violent faction is rejected by the community in Donaghmede and that they represent no-one but themselves. Equally, they are spurned by the vast majority of the nationalist community in the North on whose behalf they falsely claim to act.

“Genuine Irish republicans throughout the country totally reject the activities of this group and other such factions who abuse the good name of Irish republicanism to further their own ends.”

People need to get out of the slavish idea that those in bourgeois parliaments represent them. Bourgeois parties only exist to keep the status quo and the hegemony of the landowner elite. These are the real governments. And they never run in elections. They get Judas-Goat parties like PSF to front for them. The only democracy is Direct Democracy. Never be so weak minded as to let someone else speak for you.

"The condemnation by Cllr Mac Donncha of the friends and family of Mr Alan Ryan, "

He did no such thing. He condemned the RIRA and 32CSM. If the 32CSM have the support of the community then they can prove it by standing against Mac Donnacha in the local elections.

Having said that I regret the death of Alan Ryan, I think the armed struggle carried on by RIRA and others is futile. The PIRA at full strength couldn't beat the the British.

But Alan Ryan didn't live the life of a wealthy gangster, the crime correspondents make up lies and they spread them about Alan for years. I don't know the real story about money being extracted from criminals but if it was then it wasn't done for personal gain.

In recent times, I've noticed that certain people, who would consider themselves republicans, like to crow about the success of "the peace process." As evidence of this "success" they point to the small numbers of Crown Occupation Forces that have been killed in recent times.

It's clear that for these people, war means the oppressed fighting back by killing the forces of the oppressor. If there are no, or few, armed actions by the oppressed, then there is no war.

In relation to this idea, I would like to quote from a recent document from the National Liberation Army, ELN, of Colombia, posted by Lugh:

However, we express again, we seek a peace that is elusive.

For the poor of Colombia, peace is social justice and equity, real democracy and sovereignty.

For the class in power, peace is different. The ruling class sees peace as a state of affairs which does not affect their economic and political interests, their power, their aspirations, as conceived within the capitalist system.

Its clear that PSF now has the same view of "peace" as the ruling class has i.e. the ability of capital to profit without effective resistance from its victims. The ELN knows that war is never begun and maintained by the oppressed. War is the instrument used by the ruling class to keep themselves in wealth and privilege. Capitalism, in itself, is war against the vast majority of the human race. This is an unrelenting war, which murders at least 40,000 people a day, through malnutrition, and 25,000 children a day from dirty water. To pretend that we have peace, or even a "peace process," is to join in that Holocaust.

For many years in Ireland, many Irish people got great entertainment out of reading the "War News" in An Phoblacht, or the gaudy reports in the bourgeois media. That entertainment is their idea of war. And when they are denied that entertainment, they think there must be peace. Real war is not entertaining. It is the grinding down of billions of people, day by day. It is a child vomiting up it guts because of the rat infested water it has been forced to drink. It is the despair of a mother watching her child die like this.

To enter into a "peace process" with the perpetrators of these crimes is obscene and criminal. Those who promote such a vile "peace" are nothing but the cowardly footmen of the ruling class, the Judas Goats, who lead the people to their annihilation.

There has been a principle about for many years, that armed struggle with all its human costs, is a last resort in the absence of all other tried alternatives. A united democratic Ireland that cares and eliminates the inhumane conditions of the people of no property is still an aspiration for many. Clearly the latest phase of the armed struggle of more than 50 years, has failed to deliver that or even the basic aspirations of the Civil rights movement. The return of internment without trial, deprives those interned and those who would challenge the status quo, indeed all of us, of the most basic forms of civil rights.Challenge we must for those of us with a political conscience, regardless of whom is interned without a proper trial of their peers.

However as someone who has all of my life, asserted the right of the Irish people to take up arms for justice, I believe that at thsi point in time, all paramilitary groups, including the paramilitary psni British police, stand in the way of the progress of the democratic will of the Irish people. I believe there is more than enough evidence out there, that the British secret services MI5 and MI6 have infiltrated to a considerable extent, all paramilitary groups and in so doing, control the sourcing and distribution of hard drugs throughout all of the island of Ireland. In so doing the British secret services, control almost every community in all of the island of Ireland, both from an intelligence perspective and with counter-revolutionary Kitsonian techniques.

A more sophisticated form of divide and conquer is the order of the day, the most recent example being Ulster on the Euphrates. These secret services aside from engineering fascist vigilante groups, are also capable engineering Mexican style tit for tat gang warfare on the streets of all Ireland with considerable bloodshed. The Dublin-Monaghan bombings and the systematic assassination of rights activists over the last fifty years, in both parts of Ireland, is evidence of their ruthlessness. They are more than willing to loose their own personnel and a few battles, to win their war as the Smithwick tribunal demonstrates.

Despite considerable ongoing censorship, I believe that with organized modern multimedia, it is now a good time, to test the phrase, 'the pen is mightier than the sword." The British are already hard at work on it from their base in Hollywood, daily churning out dis-information, character assassination and plain propaganda, alongside their mainstay of the BBC world service, capturing Irish minds and hearts for empire. Because of the extent of British penetration of para-military groups presently and the existence of modern multimedia possibilities, I genuinely believe that traditional Irish Republicans, are morally obliged to try all possible avenues other than paramilitary armed struggle. Fear now stalks the streets of both parts of Ireland because of paramilitary activity and a hard drug epidemic. In one Irish city alone over 200 young people have been ordered out at gunpoint, others shot dead and parents ordered to take their children fro knee capping. This is Irish fascism on a horrific scale and is barbarous. I also believe that like Portugal that drugs should be legalized in Ireland for transparency reasons and to eliminate British destruction of all Irish communities. The video included gives a brief explanation. The drug epidemic is a gift from heaven to those paramiltary police who who rule both parts of Ireland.
