BRITISH STATE COLLUDING IN MANY IRISH MURDERS

Willie Frazer, has been accused of many things, including being a bigot, a liar and a hypocrite. Now he stands accused of being connected with British State Collusion atrocities, which are part of the British Dirty War in Ireland. Willie wants to march on Dublin again, the scene of the murder of 33 innocent civilians, at the hands of the Glenanne Frazer counter-gang and other members of British death squads, sponsored by British taxpayers, while Willie Frazer himself, was also sponsored by taxpayers, to speak on behalf of the victims of his father's British, death, squad. Willie also speaks for the loyalist Orange Order, who are accused of hate speech, with many calls for the supremacist, sectarian,  Order, to be declared an illegal organization. 

After Willie's gang paraded in paramilitary uniform through Newry's North Street Flats and threatened to blow up the complex, upstanding citizens of North Street and myself, were forced to hold a 'Buckfast Valium Party' and gate crash Glennane Hall, to let Willie's Gang know, who was really in charge, in the area. That was way back before I sobered up, and I really don't want to do that sort of thing again, but if Willie keeps provoking Dublin, there could be more "Buckfast Valium Parties" on the Summer horizon, with Willie's hate marching season, soon starting.

There are many claims, that Willie Frazer attempted to create a hierarchy of victimhood, with an innocent victims group, while at the same time, claiming his own Father, was just a member of the British Army, when they indiscrimanately murdered, scores upon scores of innocent Irish people, while in fact, he was a member of a British State, death squad, also known as the Glenanne Gang.William McCaughey, an RUC member,(British Police) and Robert McConnell, a friend of Frazer, were also members of the British State Death Squad. McCaughey claimed on the British Broadcating Corporation, that the Glenanne Gang, intended to murder up to 30 school children in Belleeks, in South Armagh. They called it off for fear of an IRA response or Civil War.

Willie Frazer, was mentored, by huge sums of taxpayers monies, for a Victims Forum, which included a fellow Protestant, Alan Bracknell. Willie's father was shot, after the British State, Glenanne Gang, bombed Donnelly's bar in Silverbridge. Willie Frazer, described his father and others involved in British State collusion, such as Robert McConnell, as innocent victims, while sitting at the same table, as Alan Bracknell, knowing full well, his father and Uncle, along with the British Government, were responsible for Trevor Bracknells death. The security forces colluded with loyalist paramilitaries in 80 deaths between July 1972 and June 1978 in Northern Ireland's "murder triangle" in counties Armagh and Tyrone, Leslie Thomas QC said.

He said many were carried out by the Glenanne Gang of gunmen with the alleged involvement of soldiers and police officers.

Mr Thomas said it could take a year to hear inquests and compared the task to that of investigating the Hillsborough football disaster.

"If what we say is right this is the biggest involvement of state agents in mass murder on British soil," he said.

He added: "We say that what the families of the bereaved want, quite simply can be put in a few words: they want the truth, they want the truth to come out, they want justice."

Mr Thomas was addressing a preliminary hearing in Belfast of two inquests involving a Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) bombing at the Step Inn in Keady in Co Armagh in 1976 during which Catholics Elizabeth McDonald, 38, and Gerard McGleenan, 22, died.

He said the same weapons were used in many of the Glenanne murders and the killers adopted the same modus operandi, accused the authorities of state-sponsored terrorism and claimed one individual involved in killing Ms McDonald should have been dealt with sooner.

He said: "The murder of Betty McDonald could have been avoided, could have been avoided had that individual been taken off the street earlier on or the weapons been taken off the street earlier on, or there had not been the collusion amongst state agents in covering up earlier murders then in terms of Betty McDonald's right to life we say she may be still here today, living long into life with her husband."

The UVF gang operated out of farms in Armagh and Tyrone in the mid 1970s when the Troubles were at their worst.

Lawyers for the victims have insisted only a public inquiry or an inquest covering all the deaths can get to the truth of the collusion claims. Senior coroner John Leckey said he was constrained by the resources available to his office.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland's (PSNI) Historical Enquiries Team (HET) has found "indisputable evidence" of security force collusion in the group.

Northern Ireland Secretary Theresa Villiers has declined to be represented at the inquest. No submission has been made to her seeking a public inquiry but Mr Thomas said the McDonald family was not surprised she allegedly did not want to be involved.

He added: "This is the biggest case of state collusion in mass murder of innocent individuals. This is a state murdering its own, you cannot get bigger than that, and therefore while one sees and understands and looks at what is happening in Hillsborough, if what we say has occurred on, lets face it, British soil, why should that not be investigated?

"British security agents being involved in deaths of British citizens, it does not get worse than that."

Mother-of-three Ms McDonald and Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) footballer Mr McGleenan were killed when a no-warning loyalist bomb detonated outside the Step Inn pub and nearby houses in August 1976. Twenty-five other people were injured.

Northern Ireland's Attorney General John Larkin QC ordered the new inquest.

Mr Thomas acknowledged there had been convictions in some of the other killings he said were linked, but he added a narrow criminal investigation was not enough.

He said across the cases there had been a repetition of similar failings by the investigating authorities, a lack of criminal convictions, the killings happened in close proximity to each other, and created similar victims while pursuing similar modus operandi.

He added the deaths involved a similar group of individuals involved in a number of attacks.

"Many of those responsible were either serving or former members of the security forces. There were close ballistic links between the victims, the weapons used in many of the killings which originated within the Ulster Defence Regiment (a branch of the army recruited in Northern Ireland)."

He quoted the HET report: "Despite the obvious pattern and linkages between these offences, only cursory efforts have been made to investigate further.

"No determined efforts were made to investigate them in a meaningful fashion.

"This (Step Inn) bombing could have been prevented and should have been detected."

Mr Thomas said precedents for a linked series of inquests were given by that into the deaths of Russian agent Alexander Litvinenko and Azelle Rodney, who was allegedly shot dead by Met Police.

He told Mr Leckey: "I can connect and join the dots in relation to various individuals who were named here to various atrocities, various bombings, various shootings, various matters and I can make the link on various weapons, various ballistics.

"This document enables me to tie up individuals."

We are also offering them discount cigarettes and diesel. It's one of our biggest portacabins and 20 RUC men could fit in there at a time. You could also throw in a few PSNI women if they are fit enough. However we want it back in time for the General election, so we can use it outside a polling station. We are also offering to send over a few of the Bhoys, for entertainment.

Willie Frazer asked us to help them out, so that they can remove all the dissident posters and Tricolours in South Armagh. We can also supply them with a bit of Waccy Baccy and anti-depressants, to keep their spirits up. He also said that Willie and his loyal brethern, can also use it for a night, on their motorcade to Dublin, while British drones overhead, can escort it all the way to Dublin using the backroads across the border, round Cross. How Governments Twist Terrorism


States craft terror definitions and designations to absolve themselves and satisfy their constituencies.

March 12, 2015 "ICH" - "American Conservative" - The Washington Post reportsthat “terrorism trend lines are ‘worse than at any other point in history.’” But what is terrorism? It has frequently been pointed out that “terrorism” is a tactic, not an actual physical adversary, but it is less often noted that a simple definition of what constitutes terrorism is hardly universally accepted, while the designation itself is essentially political. The glib assertion that one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter fails to capture the distinction’s consequences as the terror label itself increasingly comes with a number of legal and practical liabilities attached. Describing an organization as terroristic in order to discredit it has itself become a tactic, and one that sometimes has only limited connections to what the group in question actually believes or does.

The bone of contention in defining terrorism is where to draw the line in terms of the use of violence in furtherance of a political objective. In practice, it is generally accepted that state players who employ violence do so within a social framework that confers legitimacy, while nonstate players who use political violence are ipso facto terrorists, or at least susceptible to being tagged with that label, which confers upon them both illegitimacy and a particularly abhorrent criminality. But some on the receiving end of such a Manichean distinction object, noting that the laws defining terror are themselves drawn up by the governments and international organizations, which inevitably give themselves a pass in terms of their own potential liability. They would argue that established regimes will inevitably conspire to label their enemies terrorists to marginalize both resistance movements and internal dissent in such a way as to diminish the credibility of the groups that are so targeted. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has recently been doing precisely that, and one might reasonably argue that government use of violence is often in practice indistinguishable from the actions of nonstate players.

Some common dictionary definitions of terrorism include engaging in “the systematic use of terror,” surely an indication of the inscrutability of an issue when the word must be used to define itself. The United Nations has been unsuccessfully negotiating a Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism since 2002 that would define terror as causing death or serious injury or destroying or damaging public or private property “to intimidate a population, or to compel a Government or an international organization to do or abstain from doing any act.” The United States Federal criminal code uses similar language, as does the Patriot Act, with the key elements being the use of violence or physical destruction to “intimidate or coerce” a civilian population or an existing government.

Governments are aware of what can be accomplished by invoking the word “terrorism.” The diplomacy-averse United States frequently hides behind the label, as it is prohibited by law from negotiating with groups so-labeled, and thereby avoids having to confront the possible legitimacy of what they represent. And it also justifies a uniformly violent response, which is invariably described as self-defense.

Fourteen years ago the “global war on terror” was used to justify wholesale American intervention in predominantly Muslim countries. A number of European countries, including France and Britain, have followed the example of the two Patriot Acts by introducing antiterrorism legislation that provides special police and intelligence service authorities that limit normal legal protections in terrorism cases. The broadly written laws have largely rendered the authorities immune from either regulation or prosecution, and governments in the West have generally been reluctant to allow any third-party inquiries into the related behavior of military and police forces. In the United States the state secret privilege, originally intended to prohibit the exposure of classified information in court, has been used to completely derail judicial proceedings relating to offenses allegedly committed by the government in terrorism cases.

And critics of the essentially hypocritical double standard used in defining terrorism certainly have a point. One might reasonably argue that the use of drones, in which “signature” targets are killed because they match a profile, fits comfortably within the definition of terrorism. During 2003-4, American Army and Marine forces in Fallujah sometimes shelled and bombed targets in the city indiscriminately and were certainly responsible for hundreds of civilian deaths. The Israeli Defense Forces killed thousands of civilians in two incursions into Gaza as well as several attacks on Lebanon. There was no declaration of war to justify the use of armed force in either case, and independent observers noted that many of the civilian casualties could have been avoided, normally a defining factor that makes an incident terror. Both Israel and the United States turned the tables on the situation by referring to their opponents and victims as “terrorists.” There has been no accountability for the deaths because it was two governments that carried out the killing.

In a world seemingly obsessed with terrorism it was inevitable that something like ananti-terrorism industry would grow dramatically. Every television and radio network has its own stable of pundits who pontificate on every violent incident, and there also are well-compensated freelancers, who describe themselves as experts, such as Evan Kohlmann and Steve Emerson. Emerson recently had to apologize after claiming that Birmingham, England had a number of no-go areas controlled by local Muslim extremists.

It should be no surprise that lawyers have now also gotten into the game. In 1996 Congress passed the Anti-Terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act, which allows victims of terrorism to file civil suits in federal and state courts against sponsors or supporters of terrorism. Once you have a group or individual labeled as terrorist, or providing assistance to terrorists, there are a number of options you can pursue. The burgeoning antiterrorism industry appears to be in some ways linked to the increasing employment of Lawfare, which uses the legal system to wage war by alternative means, making it possible to obtain a favorable judgment and damages from the assets of a recognized terrorist organization. Such litigation benefits from favorable legislation in the United States that makes terrorism a worldwide crime subject to U.S. judicial review.

Recent court cases have involved both states that allegedly sponsor terrorism or actual organizations that are now parts of governments that either currently or at one time were perceived to be terrorists. Many of the groups targeted are enemies of Israel, and the Israeli Lawfare center Shurat HaDin is most active in pursuing such litigation. In a recent case in New York City, the Palestinian Authority was successfully sued by a group of Israelis and Americans over terrorist attacks that took place in Israel in 2002-4. If the appeal fails, the Palestinian Authority will be required to pay $1 billion in damages and will be bankrupted, with negative consequences for the United States, which has been seeking to create a viable government on the West Bank.

The U.S. Department of State identifies four countries as state sponsors of terrorism, making them prime targets for sanctions and other legal action. They are Cuba, Sudan, Syria and Iran. Cuba is an anomaly as it has not threatened anyone in decades but remains on the list due to the deep passions within America’s politically powerful Cuban Lobby. Sudan likewise should not be so designated, as even the U.S. government admits that it is cooperative on terrorism issues.

This leaves Syria and Iran, both of which are regarded as state sponsors of terrorism even though both are themselves victims of terrorist attacks carried out by groups supported by the United States. They are on the list because they harbor or cooperate with Hezbollah, Hamas, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. All three groups consider themselves to be resistance movements against the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine, but Israel regards all three as terrorists, a view shared by the United States on the state department’s Foreign Terrorist Organization list. That viewpoint is not necessarily shared by many European governments, which regard the organizations as having evolved into legitimate political parties. There are also thousands of individuals and groups considered to be terroristic or criminal, collected by the U.S. Department of Justice on its Special Designated Nationals List. Individuals and organizations on the list have their assets blocked and are subject to other punitive action by the United States government.

Being designated by the Department of the Treasury or state does not necessarily mean that someone or some organization was actually involved in terrorism. The Texas-based Holy Land Foundation, an Islamic charity, was declared a terrorist organization in 2001. Its officers were convicted and imprisoned in a 2008 trial because the Treasury Department determined ex post facto that it had given money to Hamas before that group was itself named as a terrorist organization.

Inclusion on the State or Treasury lists can mean that there is solid evidence of wrongdoing, but it can also represent mere insinuations or a strong desire to see a group singled out for punishment. In any event, once a group or person is designated for a list, it is difficult to get off. Organizations that have not engaged in terrorist activity for many years remain on the list while other groups that are active escape censure. Recently, the Mujaheddin e Khalq (MEK), an Iranian terrorist group thatkilled six Americans in the 1970s, was removed from the list under political pressure from Congress and the media. Again, Israel was involved. MEK is an enemy of the current government in Tehran and is itself an important component of the Israeli intelligence effort against Iran, having been involved in the fabrication of information suggesting that Iran has an active nuclear weapons program as well as participating in the assassinations of Tehran’s scientists.

So what terrorism actually consists of very much depends on one’s perspective, rendering the word itself largely meaningless. But those who are listed as terrorists experience real consequences even accepting that the designation is both selectively applied and politicized. The United States and Israel in particular use the terrorism label to demonize opponents, drum up fear, and generate popular support for security policies that might otherwise be unpalatable. They also justify their own behavior by asserting that they occupy the moral high ground in the defense of the world against terror, a claim that certainly should be regarded with considerable skepticism.

Provisional Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams addressed a small crowd outside Crossmaglen yesterday afternoon, after they called on people to come out in force, for a massive show of support, for 31-year-old Frank McCabe, who they put up the pole, that blew him back down again. Unfortunately for the Provos, the meeting was poorly attended, which suggests the people of South Armagh, do not approve of their call, for people to become informers to British Occupation Forces in the area, after their party, executed approximately forty informers in the area already, before Murphy and Adams did their U-turn and became informers to the British themselves, while recruiting for the British in the area.

Adams kept a straight face, while saying that Murphy republicans, are not involved in criminal actions along the border or indeed anywhere else. No republican is involved in fuel laundering or the destruction of our environment through the dumping of toxic sludge. No republican is engaged in smuggling tobacco or any other product, In recent times a section of the media, the SDLP, the Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin and the Taoiseach Enda Kenny have engaged in a deliberate campaign of vilification against Sinn Féin, and the communities of north Louth and south Armagh. He said, he had met senior police officers from both sides of the border to discuss criminals gangs."

The problem for the Provos, is that they lack credibility and even Willie Frazer's goat doesn't  swallow it. while the few ethical members.left in their party are resigning in increasing numbers because they cannot handle the sheer hypocrisy of it all. Ex-members of his party, know precisely where Murphy got his election resources in the area and are prepared to go public about it, unless Sinn Fein, cease recruiting informers, for British Occupation Forces in Ireland. Sinn Fein has also recently revealed, that they get their inspiration for their political work, from the Queen of England, as explained by Martin McGuinness. Other members who were disgusted by their party's cover-up of the child rape saga, have resigned, when Adams admitted to  cavorting naked, with his dog in his back garden on a trampoline, in his free time and questions are being asked, if like Willie Frazer, he is also engaged in a spot of bestiality.

Former members of Sinn Fein, who underwent deep interrogation by the British in Gough Barracks and were shown disturbing, sexual, photographs, while protecting the Murphys, are also considering going public, after Murphy and Sinn Fein called on the public to become informers to the British. It is also rumored, that Sinn Fein have plans, for the near future, to instruct its voters, to join the British Army. It is also understood that when Sinn Fein becomes a junior party with Fine Gael, after the nest election in the south of Ireland,  they also plan to instruct voters there, to also join the British Army. Murphy was not available for comment in Mullaghbawn to Irish Blog, because he is believed to be currently engaged, in some sort of secret activities in London with the British.

The good news is Ireland bet England yesteday, while using their heads for once under the coaching of a South African, while playing players from every part of Ireland, from every denomination as a United Ireland team.

MURPHY COMPROMISED BY WILLIE FRAZER FACTS

Willie Frazer has challenged Sinn Fein's Conor Murphy on many occasions to a public debate on law and order in south Armagh. Willie was attacked by a gang near Crossmaglen some time ago but Murphy's’s reaction was to call him “a well-known fantasist”, without condemning the violent incident around an attempted kidnap. Many people have said that Murphy’s remarks were extremely defensive and not those of someone, who supported justice. Mr Frazer challenged Murphy to meet him face-to-face, in a public forum, to debate Murphy's remarks and debate law and order in south Armagh.” Willie said at the time; “He says I am a fantasist. Tell that to the cameraman who was in the car with me, at the time, shouting for a documentary. Did he imagine what happened? Sinn Fein want to discredit me, tarnish my name and pass me off as a crank. It is a classic tactic because I do not suit their agenda. It’s like the Northern Bank robbery or Robert McCartney. We were told they were nothing to do with republicans, it is all fantasy. Well I can tell you it is not fantasy that law and order does not reign over south Armagh.” Murphy was afraid of an open debate with Willie, and has hidden from Willie ever since that statement.


Willie may have a point, in that Murphy seems to brand everyone who disagrees with him, as criminals, when he calls on all of the people is South Armagh, to become informers to the RUCpsni/MI5. He seems while doing so, to be at best cherry picking, with a a very selective memory. Does he want all of the people of South Armagh, to become informers and pass on all the details of the murder of Paul Quinn? Does he want them to tell the British police, about the details of the resources and sources, he was given to fight his elections, personally along with his party. If someone wants to challenge Murphy for his seats, will they be allowed to have similar resources from similar sources, or is it only people, who work with the British Occupation forces, who are allowed a pass on this? Does he want the people of South Armagh to inform the RUC/PSNI about all of these details. Does he want the people of South Armagh to supply MI5, with all the details about his family's history? Does he want people to talk about, what MI5 were saying about his family in Gough Barracks? People in glasshouses should not throw stones. He and his party members and supporters need to consider well, what they are about, because Willie appears to have their number and so have others, according to the details of the article below by Suzanne Breen.

An informer within Provisional IRA ranks has come forward with crucial new information about the murder of South Armagh man, Paul Quinn. The disillusioned Provo has told gardai the name of the senior republican from the border area whom he alleges led the gang who brutally beat the 21-year-old to death in a barn in Co Monaghan seven years ago. Sources close to the investigation said the IRA veteran has recently been quizzed by detectives leading the murder inquiry as a result of this information. 

Paul Quinn died in hospital shortly after he was savagely assaulted on October 20, 2007. His family and friends will gather in Cullyhanna next weekend for a Mass and commemoration to mark the seventh anniversary of his murder. In an interview with Sunday Life, Paul's father, Stephen Quinn, accused Sinn Fein of continuing to shield his son's killers, but he warned that the garda investigation remained very active. “We believe we'll secure justice. This isn't a case gardai have put on the back burner. It's open and progressing all the time. “Those who murdered my son may think they've got away with it, but they shouldn't sleep easily in their beds. Their past will catch up with them,” he said. 

A source close to the investigation said the senior local Provisional went voluntarily to Carrickmacross garda station to be interviewed in the presence of his solicitor after hearing detectives had been searching for him. “Information that this man led the IRA gang who beat Paul Quinn with cudgels and iron bars has been conveyed to gardai. “They have been told he stood in the barn, giving the instructions to Paul's assailants,” the source said. The senior Provisional, who is in his 50s, has previously served a prison sentence and is well known in the south Armagh and north Louth area. He has held position within Sinn Fein. 

Police on both sides of the border believe he was one of three IRA men involved in the November 1994 murder of Newry post office worker, Frank Kerr, but he has never faced charges in connection with that incident. Kerr, the first person the IRA killed after its ceasefire, was shot in the head as he struggled with the gang robbing the mail office. They escaped with £130,000. The republican questioned about Paul Quinn's murder is known as a ‘heavy' for the Provos. He was one of those who knocked on the doors of Real IRA members to issue death threats against them in 1998. Although more than 20 people have been arrested during the Quinn murder investigation — including Padraig ‘Paudie’ Treanor, a former driver of Sinn Fein Newry and Armagh MP Conor Murphy. None has been charged. The gardai investigation reveals a high degree of planning on the day of the murder. Phone records examined by detectives showed the mobiles of around eight key suspects were turned off at the same time that afternoon. They were then almost simultaneously turned on after 6pm following the beating. 

The Provisional IRA targeted Paul Quinn for clashing with several local Provos over minor matters in the months before his killing. After the murder, Conor Murphy MP said he had spoken to the IRA and was satisfied they weren't involved. He branded Paul “a criminal” and linked his murder to a feud among criminals. Former Irish Foreign Minister, Dermot Ahern, and the SDLP both asserted that Paul wasn't a criminal. Stephen Quinn said: “Seven year's after Paul's murder, we appeal to Conor Murphy, as a politician and a father, to withdraw his disgraceful slur against our son.” Living in a small rural community, the Quinns regularly come face-to-face with the men who killed Paul. Stephen said: “There's not a day I don't meet those who were involved in some way. “Whether they ordered or directed it or beat him, they all have blood on their hands.” He accused Martin McGuinness and Gerry Adams of failing to help their campaign for justice: “These two could come to south Armagh and secure justice for us within an hour because it’s prominent members of the provisional movement who murdered our son.”

‘Pornography Is What the End of the World Looks Like’

February 16, 2015 "ICH" - "Truthdig" - BOSTON—“Fifty Shades of Grey,” the book and the movie, is a celebration of the sadism that dominates nearly every aspect of American culture and lies at the core of pornography and global capitalism. It glorifies our dehumanization of women. It champions a world devoid of compassion, empathy and love. It eroticizes hypermasculine power that carries out the abuse, degradation, humiliation and torture of women whose personalities have been removed, whose only desire is to debase themselves in the service of male lust. The film, like “American Sniper,” unquestioningly accepts a predatory world where the weak and the vulnerable are objects to exploit while the powerful are narcissistic and violent demigods. It blesses this capitalist hell as natural and good.

“Pornography,” Robert Jensen writes, “is what the end of the world looks like.”

We are blinded by self-destructive fantasy. An array of amusements and spectacles, including TV “reality” shows, huge sporting events, social media, porn (which earns at least twice what Hollywood movies generate), alluring luxury products, drugs, alcohol and magic Jesus, offers enticing exit doors from reality. We yearn to be rich, powerful and celebrities. And those we must trample to build our pathetic little empires are seen as deserving their fate. That nearly all of us will never attain these ambitions is emblematic of our collective self-delusion and the effectiveness of a culture awash in manipulation and lies.

Porn seeks to eroticize this sadism. In porn women are paid to repeat the mantra “I am a cunt. I am a bitch. I am a whore. I am a slut. Fuck me hard with your big cock.” They plead to be physically abused. Porn caters to degrading racist stereotypes. Black men are sexually potent beasts stalking white women. Black women have a raw, primitive lust. Latin women are sultry and hotblooded. Asian women are meek, sexually submissive geishas. In porn, human imperfections do not exist. The oversized silicone breasts, the pouting, gel-inflated lips, the bodies sculpted by plastic surgeons, the drug-induced erections that never subside and the shaved pubic regions—which cater to porn’s pedophilia—turn performers into pieces of plastic. Smell, sweat, breath, heartbeats and touch are erased along with tenderness. Women in porn are packaged commodities. They are pleasure dolls and sexual puppets. They are stripped of true emotions. Porn is not about sex, if one defines sex as a mutual act between two partners, but about masturbation, a solitary auto-arousal devoid of intimacy and love. The cult of the self—that is the essence of porn—lies at the core of corporate culture. Porn, like global capitalism, is where human beings are sent to die.

There are few people on the left who grasp the immense danger of allowing pornography to replace intimacy, sex and love. Much of the left believes that pornography is about free speech, as if it is unacceptable to financially exploit and physically abuse a woman in a sweatshop in China but acceptable to do so on the set of a porn film, as if torture is wrong in Abu Ghraib, where prisoners were sexually humiliated and abused as if they were on a porn set, but permissible on commercial porn sites.

A new wave of feminists, who have betrayed the iconic work of radicals such as Andrea Dworkin, defends porn as a form of sexual liberation and self-empowerment. These “feminists,” grounded in Michel Foucault and Judith Butler, are stunted products of neoliberalism and postmodernism. Feminism, for them, is no longer about the liberation of women who are oppressed; it is defined by a handful of women who are successful, powerful and wealthy—or, as in the case of “Fifty Shades of Grey,” able to snag a rich and powerful man. A woman wrote the “Fifty Shades” book, as well as the screenplay. A woman directed the film. A woman studio head bought the movie. This collusion by women is part of the internalization of oppression and sexual violence that have their roots in porn. Dworkin understood. She wrote that “the new pornography is a vast graveyard where the Left has gone to die. The Left cannot have its whores and its politics too.”

I met Gail Dines, one of the most important radicals in the country, in a small cafe in Boston on Tuesday. She is the author of “Pornland: How Porn Has Hijacked Our Sexuality” and a professor of sociology and women’s studies at Wheelock College. Dines, along with a handful of others including Jensen, fearlessly decry a culture that is as depraved as Caligula’s Rome.

“The porn industry has hijacked the sexuality of an entire culture and is laying waste to a whole generation of boys,” she warned. “And when you lay waste to a generation of boys, you lay waste to a generation of girls.”

“When you fight porn you fight global capitalism,” she said. “The venture capitalists, the banks, the credit card companies are all in this feeding chain. This is why you never see anti-porn stories. The media is implicated. It is financially in bed with these companies. Porn is part of this. Porn tells us we have nothing left as human beings—boundaries, integrity, desire, creativity and authenticity. Women are reduced to three orifices and two hands. Porn is woven into the corporate destruction of intimacy and connectedness, and this includes connectedness to the earth. If we were a society where we were whole, connected human beings in real communities, then we would not be able to look at porn. We would not be able to watch another human being tortured.”

“If you are going to give a tiny percent of the world the vast majority of the goodies, you better make sure you have a good ideological system in place that legitimizes why everyone else is suffering economically,” she said. “This is what porn does. Porn tells you that material inequality between women and men is not the result of an economic system. It is biologically based. And women, being whores and bitches and only good for sex, don’t deserve full equality. Porn is the ideological mouthpiece that legitimizes our material system of inequality. Porn is to patriarchy what the media is to capitalism.”

To keep the legions of easily bored male viewers aroused, porn makers produce videos that are increasingly violent and debasing. Extreme Associates, which specializes in graphic rape scenes, along with JM Productions, promotes the very real pain endured by women on its sets. JM Productions pioneered “aggressive throat fucking” or “face fucking” videos such as the “Gag Factor” series, in which women gag and often vomit. It ushered in “swirlies,” in which the male performer dunks the woman’s head into a toilet after sex and then flushes. The company promises, “Every whore gets the swirlies treatment. Fuck her, then flush her.” Repeated and violent anal penetration triggers anal prolapse, a condition in which the inner walls of a woman’s rectum collapse and protrude from her anus. This is called “rosebudding.” Some women, penetrated repeatedly by numerous men on porn shoots, often after taking handfuls of painkillers, require anal and vaginal reconstructive surgery. Female performers may suffer from sexually transmitted diseases and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). And with porn mainstreamed—some porn video participants are treated like film celebrities by talk show hosts such as Oprah and Howard Stern—the behavior promoted by porn, including stripping, promiscuity, S&M and exhibitionism, has become chic. Porn also sets the standard for female beauty and female comportment. And this has had terrifying consequences for girls.

“Women are told in our society they have two choices,” Dines said. “They are either fuckable or invisible. To be fuckable means to conform to the porn culture, to look hot, be submissive and do what the man wants. That’s the only way you get visibility. You cannot ask adolescent girls, who are dying for visibility, to choose invisibility.”

None of this, Dines pointed out, was by accident. Porn grew out of the commodity culture, the need by corporate capitalists to sell products.

“In post-Second-World-War America you have the emergence of a middle class with a disposable income,” she said. “The only trouble is that this group was born to parents who had been through a depression and a war. They did not know how to spend. They only knew how to save. What [the capitalists] needed to jump-start the economy was to get people to spend money on stuff they did not need. For women they brought in the television soaps. One of the reasons the ranch house was developed was because [families] only had one television. The television was in the living room and women spent a lot of time in the kitchen. You had to devise a house where she could watch television from the kitchen. She was being taught.”

“But who was teaching the men how to spend money?” she went on. “It was Playboy [Magazine]. This was the brilliance of Hugh Hefner. He understood that you don’t just commodify sexuality, you sexualize commodities. The promise that Playboy held out was not the girls or the women, it was that if you buy at this level, if you consume at the level Playboy tells you to, then you will get the prize, which is the women. The step that was crucial to getting the prize was the consumption of commodities. He wrapped porn, which sexualized and commoditized women’s bodies, in an upper-middle-class blanket. He gave it a veneer of respectability.”

The VCR, the DVD and, later, the Internet allowed porn to be pumped into individual homes. The glossy, still images of Playboy, Penthouse and Hustler became tame, even quaint. America, and much of the rest of the world, became pornified. The income of the global porn industry is estimated at $96 billion, with the United States market worth about $13 billion. There are, Dines writes, “420 million Internet porn pages, 4.2 million porn Web sites, and 68 million search engine requests for porn Dines daily.


Along with the rise of pornography there has been an explosion in sex-related violence, including domestic abuse, rape and gang rape. A rape is reported every 6.2 minutes in the United States, but the estimated total, taking into account unreported assaults, is perhaps five times higher, as Rebecca Solnit points out in her book “Men Explain Things to Me.”

“So many men murder their partners and former partners that we have well over a thousand homicides of that kind a year—meaning that every three years the death toll tops 9/11’s casualties, though no one declares a war on this particular kind of terror,” Solnit writes.

Porn, meanwhile, is ever more accessible.

“With a mobile phone you can deliver porn to men who live in highly concentrated neighborhoods in Brazil and India,” Dines said. “If you have one laptop in the family, the man can’t sit in the middle of the room and jerk off to it. With a phone, porn becomes portable. The average kid gets his porn through the mobile phone.”

The old porn industry, which found its profits in movies, is dead. The points of production no longer generate profits. The distributors of porn make the money. And one distributor, MindGeek, a global IT company, dominates porn distribution. Free porn is used on the Internet as bait by MindGeek to lure viewers to pay-per-view porn sites. Most users are adolescent boys. It is, Dines said, “like handing out cigarettes outside of a middle school. You get them addicted.”

“Around the ages of 12 to 15 you are developing your sexual template,” she said. “You get [the boys] when they are beginning to construct their sexual identity. You get them for life. If you begin by jerking off to cruel, hardcore, violent porn then you are not going to want intimacy and connection. Studies are showing that boys are losing interest in sex with real women. They can’t sustain erections with real women. In porn there is no making love. It is about making hate. He despises her. He is revolted and disgusted by her. If you bleed out the love you have to fill it with something to make it interesting. They fill it with violence, degradation, cruelty and hate. And that also gets boring. So you have to keep ratcheting it up. Men get off in porn from women being submissive. Who is more submissive than children? The inevitable route of all porn is child porn. And this is why organizations that fight child porn and do not fight adult porn are making a huge mistake.”

The abuse inherent in pornography goes unquestioned in large part by both men and women. Look at the movie ticket sales for “Fifty Shades of Grey,” which opened the day before Valentine’s Day and is expected to take in up to $90 million over the four-day weekend (which includes Presidents Day on Monday).

“Pornography has socialized a generation of men into watching sexual torture,” Dines said. “You are not born with that capacity. You have to be trained into it. Just like you train soldiers to kill. If you are going to carry out violence against a group you have to dehumanize them. It is an old method. Jews become kikes. Blacks become niggers. Women become cunts. And no one turns women into cunts better than porn.”

WILLIE FRAZER IS PROOF OF A PSEUDO PEACE PROCESS

Some of you's bhoys and ghirls are bould fenians, I'm not saying that you's are unrepentant bastards or anything like that, to insult ye, but you's are heartless. Willie's father and Uncle paid the price of being in the British Army of Occupation in Ireland, and I am sure Willie is worried about the same happening to himself, as most people in occupied Ireland are today. Willie is simply following the Orange Order ideology, passed on to him by his father and you can't fault someone that stands by their belief or tradition, and stands their ground. No more than most of us, he is mostly a victim of circumstance and false, secret, ideology passed on to him by the Orange Order, on the basis of a forged letter by William Of Orange, who cam over from Holland and usurped the British throne.

I personally can empathize with Willie, because it's not my fault that I had a Blueshirt father, who waited until his deathbed, to admit he was wrong and my mothers republicanism was correct. That doesn't mean that everything my father taught me was wrong. One of the basic things he taught me was, that two wrongs do not make a right, and I believe this applies in the instance of Willie's visit to Dublin. Of course people can rightfully say, that Britain's Dirty War, with varying degrees of intensity, is still going on in Ireland, and that Willie as a member of the British territorial Army, is a fair target but I do not agree. He has stated the purpose of his march, is to highlight the secrecy, still surrounding the killing of members of his community. He and his fellow Orangemen, intend to march in full view, unarmed down O'Connell Street to Leinster House and lodge an official petition. Like the Dublin/Monaghan bombings, that slaughtered so many Dubliners, the execution of which, included some of Willie's neighbours, the truth still has not seen the light of day and everyone's families, including Willie's community, after so many years, are entitled to the truth, to put the past to rest and move on with their lives.

Perhaps I am an ignorant man but the only successful Peace Process, that has happened in my lifetime, is the one in South Africa, which was based on Truth and Reconciliation. Clearly this has not happened in Ireland. Archbishop Tutu oversaw a public, transparent, platform, which daily witnessed both perpetrators and victims, give clear accounts, of war crimes, that happened in the Apartheid era. There was so much public, grief, anger and tragedy on both sides in public view, that people from both black and white communities, could only empathize with the horror inficted on both sides and as a result cross the racial divide. That empathy, crossed the racial divide sufficently, that South Africa, despite it's linerging economic issues, succeeded in laying the foundation for a solution.This will never happen in Occupied Ireland for many reasons, unless Britain leaves. British civil service bureaucracy, which was inherited by all its Commonwealth states or former colonies, was also inherited in Ireland. It includes such instruments as the Official Secrets Act, thirty year secret provisions with redaction, that transparecy is impossible. So in the case of Willie's community and in the case of the Dublin/Monaghan victims, they will never learn the truth of the Dirty War or the collaboration as long as Britain controls Irish affairs. The Irish establishment also have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo, which leads to decades of more misery, especially the most vulnerable. We have a fake Peace Process, that made some progress but mostly at a superficial level. The Dirty War still goes on, mostly at low intensity, and will inevitably flare again, sparked by issues like POW torture, social injustice or heaven forbid another Hunger Strike.

Now it is far easier for me write this in my detached state, than for people confronted by this everyday thorn in their lives. It is also easier because I have been fortunate enough, to deal with my past resentments, which would be more correctly called hatred. I do not resent any British person today and I hope with the help of the stardust, it never happens again, because it simply tortured me and drove me out of my mind. So I hope I am not writing out of hate but simply love of my country and people, with all its different traditions, that includes Orangemen, although I must admit I do enjoy poking fun at them, along with the Xpensive Quill. However, this is a serious matter and perhaps, Willie carries similar resentments today, which if we reflect on it, is quite understandable.

My humble suggestion is that all the victims families in th south, peacefully join Willie in his "Love Ulster" march. Indeed I would respectfully suggest, everyone, peacefully join the "Love Ulster" march, with a word of Irish honour, that they will remain peaceful but that is perhaps not realisitic under present circumstance. People are entitled to their opinions and the right to peaceully express them, including Willie. I believe, if the Blueshirt Minster for Justice in Leinster House, has any heart and balls, should personally receive Willie's petition and genuinely give Willie a big hug but being a politcian, I doubt he has the sincerity to do this, without it being choreographed. But for the love of Buddah, someone who has processed their grief and resentment of the past, GIVE WILLIE A HUG! I also believe, that everyone who protests Willie's march, might consider starting a genune Peace Process, based on a Truth & Reconciliation platform, covered properly by the media, overseen by Archbishop Tutu. I believe all political prisoners, should be released, as was the case under the previous agreement and and did not re-offend. I believe Britain needs to give a clear and unequivocal declaration of withdrawal. I believe that the EU, has a responsibilty. along with the IMF, to make up the shortfall, in the annual 10 billion pound sterling, British taxpayer subsidy to the north, until the impoverished people of empire, are empowered to stand on their own two feet and be self-supporting. Now of course, none of this will happen, unless people get up off their arse and make it happen and that depends on how much you Love your Country and your children. GO ON! GIVE WILLIE A HUG!, NOT A BONE CRUSHER!

While everyone know that Willy is a thoroughbred Orangeman on his father side, the bloolline on his mortherside is a closely guarded secret.
